Because of different test cases I stuck at one point where i need all the special characters with classification. • How to use numpy with OpenBLAS instead of Atlas in Ubuntu?

  I have looked for an easy way to install/compile Numpy with OpenBLAS but didn't find an easy answer. All the documentation I have seen takes too much knowledge as granted for someone like me who is not used to compile software. There are two packages in Ubuntu related to OpenBLAS : libopenblas-base and libopenblas-dev. Once they are installed, what should I do to install Numpy again with them? Thanks! Note that when these OpenBLAS packages are installed, Numpy doesn't work anymore: it can't be imported: ImportError: /usr/lib/liblapack.so.3gf: undefined symbol: ATL_chemv.   let's assume that I have very basic model class Message(models.Model): msg = models.CharField(max_length=30) this model is registered with admin module: class MessageAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin): pass admin.site.register(Message, MessageAdmin) Currently when I go into the admin interface, after clicking "Add message" I have only one form where I can enter the msg. I would like to have multiple forms (formset perhaps) on the "Add page" so I can create multiple messages at once. It's really annoying having to click "Save and add another" every single time. Ideally I would like to achieve something like InlineModelAdmin but it turns out that you can use it only for the models that are related to the object which is edited. What would you recommend to use to resolve this problem?

  I'm using the admin interface to view invoices and products. To make things easy, I've set the products as inline to invoices, so I will see the related products in the invoice's form. As you can see I'm using a many-to-many relationship. In models.py: class Product(models.Model): name = models.TextField() price = models.DecimalField(max_digits=10,decimal_places=2) class Invoice(models.Model): company = models.ForeignKey(Company) customer = models.ForeignKey(Customer) products = models.ManyToManyField(Product) In admin.py: class ProductInline(admin.StackedInline): model = Invoice.products.through class InvoiceAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin): inlines = [FilteredApartmentInline,] admin.site.register(Product, ProductAdmin) The problem is that django presents the products as a table of drop down menus (one per associated product). Each drop down contains all the products listed. So if I have 5000 products and 300 are associated with a certain invoice, django actually loads 300x5000 product names. Also the table is not aesthetic. How can I change it so that it'll just display the product's name in the inline table? Which form should I override, and how?

  After I read a bunch of LINQ related stuff, I suddenly realized that no articles introduce how to write asynchronous LINQ query. Suppose we use LINQ to SQL, below statement is clear. However, if the SQL database responds slowly, then the thread using this block of code would be hindered. var result = from item in Products where item.Price > 3 select item.Name; foreach (var name in result) { Console.WriteLine(name); } Seems that current LINQ query spec doesn't provide support to this. • Building webparts with Visual Studio 2010 Express

  Hi, I'm trying to get started with building my own webparts, planning to follow this MSDN article. I've downloaded Visual C# 2010 Express - I'm not quite at the point where I feel comfortable dropping 1000 big ones yet, and I installed Visual Web Developer 2010 Express via the WPInstaller. Following through the tutorial, aside from the fact that I don't get the option to create a "Web Control Library", a gap I filled with this article, I can't seem to find the sn.exe tool (or the "Visual Studio 2005 Command Prompt"!). I know it's not quite a direct programming related question, but I can't even get the thing going yet! Any help is appreciated. Thanks EDIT:- I think I may be jumping the gun quite considerably, I wrote a simple hello world example and tried to build it but it doesn't have any references to the Microsoft.SharePoint packages and they don't appear in my lists. Am I understanding some more research I've done (namely this) correctly, in that I have to actually have a full installation of actual SharePoint on the machine I'm developing on?

  Hi, I'm developing an application in Rails and want the user to be able to signup and provide their card details on one form. I'm using the Braintree API and their transparent redirect, which means that the form data is posted directly to Braintree. How can I store and later retrieve the non-payment related information provided by the user from that form e.g. account name, username? In general we use biometrics in computer applications say for authentication. Lets get 2 examples finger prints and facial recognition. In those cases how we keep the information for comparison. As an example we can't keep a image and process it every time. So what are the methodologies we use to store/determine the similarity in such cases? Are there any special algorithms that designed for that purposes.? (Ex : To return a approximately equal value for a finger print of a certain person every time)

In fact, I'm only interested in changes related to MS Test Manager 2010 and Coded UI Tests. Where I have looked so far I have searched the Internet, looked for a readme.txt in the installation folder, looked into the Visual Studio help (F1) and browsed the "What's new in Visual Studio 2010" section on MSDN. No luck. Found Scott Guthrie's blog post Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4 Released, but that's not exactly what I am looking for. It's not a changelog since VS2010RC. However, since this works using a redirect, I assume it's not an option (can't redirect a POST, correct?).   I'd like to learn how to apply network theory to my own cache of relational data. I'm trying to build a demo of a new way of browsing a music library, using network theory, that I think would make for a very intuitive and useful way of finding the right song at any given time. I have all the data (artists as nodes, similarity from 0 to 1 between each artist and those it is related to) and I can already program, but I don't know how to actually calculate the centrality of a node from that.   I seek a tool that can be run on the command line like so: tablescrape 'http://someURL.foo.com' [n] If n is not specified and there's more than one HTML table on the page, it should summarize them (header row, total number of rows) in a numbered list. If n is specified or if there's only one table, it should parse the table and spit it to stdout as CSV or TSV. Potential additional features: To be really fancy you could parse a table within a table, but for my purposes -- fetching data from wikipedia pages and the like -- that's overkill. The Perl module HTML::TableExtract can do this and may be good place to start for writing the tool I have in mind. An option to asciify any unicode. An option to apply an arbitrary regex substitution for fixing weirdnesses in the parsed table.   I have two mysql queries that return a column of phone numbers. I want am trying to end up with a list of phone numbers that are in one list, but not in the other. So the two queries I have are: SELECT phone FROM civicrm_phone phone LEFT JOIN civicrm_participant participant ON phone.contact_id = participant.contact_id WHERE phone.is_primary = 1 AND participant.id IS NULL and SELECT phone FROM civicrm_phone phone LEFT JOIN civicrm_participant participant ON phone.contact_id = participant.contact_id WHERE phone.is_primary = 1 AND participant.id IS NOT NULL And before anyone asks, the above two queries do not provide mutually exclusive results (based on using IS NULL and IS NOT NULL for the last WHERE statement), since we have related individuals in the database who use the same phone number, but do not necessarily all have a participant.id.   I already have Visual Studio 2008 installed. When installing developer Sql Server 2008, do I need to check the Business Intelligence Development Studio option? I'm guessing not. I assume if I already have VS 2008, the install will just add the relevant Sql Server related project types into VS 2008. EDIT: I marked the question answered before I did the install - I've installed Sql Server before and I thought this was what happened, but on doing this install, leaving the BI studio option unchecked does NOT install the SQL Server projects in Visual Studio. I had to go back and install it, so the answer is... Check it! I was overthinking the install - it's smart enough not to install VS twice.

  I think I might be misunderstanding the whole thing and I am looking for some programming wisdom. When faced with a programming challenge, I feel the most important question is "which programming paradigm(s) are better suited to handle it, and how to apply them". A distant second is "which language to use". Yet it seems that most of the programming related content I stumble upon on the Internet has it exactly backwards and focuses mostly on the language choice. An object-oriented solution is fundamentaly the same, whether it's implemented in c++, Java or PHP... So where is the paradigm centered content? Where is the "practical guide to programming paradigms and implementations" and other literature helping bringing real-world and programming concepts together? Note: I already know about "Programming Paradigms for Dummies: What Every Programmer Should Know" from Peter Van Roy.

• avaudioplayer interferes with mpmovieplayer on ipad

  my app plays video and audio. however, i have a problem where once i play an audio file using avaudioplayer, the video refuses to play. when i play the video first, everything is fine. but if the audio is played first, any time i try to play the video it simply pops up the video player but will not play the actual video (you can use the scroller to go to any point in the video, but no playback will happen). this issue does not come up on the iphone, nor on the ipad simulator. clearly there is some resource conflict here, probably related to the audio, and i'd welcome some input on how to address it.

• ORA-22835 using JPA (Buffer too small)

  I am trying to persist an Entity with a @Lob annotated String field. The content of that fiels if bigger than the 40k buffer size limit. The first problem I had was related to the setString method used internally by the JPA implementation (Hibernate in my case) and the Oracle JDBC Driver. This problem was solved adding <property name="hibernate.connection.SetBigStringTryClob" value="true"/> to my persistence.xml file. Then, the error changed to a ORA-22835 error (the buffer is too small). ¿Is there any way that JPA solves this problem without going to a low-level implementation? ¿Any suggestions?

  Hi everyone, my background is totally not related to video stuff so pardon my newbie style. I own a samsung HMX-H100P camcorder and I'm trying to encode videos to be uploaded to Youtube and Vimeo. First problem: videos generated by the camera with no processing appear like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AANbl_DTuzE when I play them with Totem(Linux) or VideoLan. Second problem: When I try to encode the videos produced by the camera using mencoder I get the video at the resolution I chose but those ugly lines and lagging are still present. Here's the command I use: mencoder $inputFile -aspect 16:9 -of lavf -lavfopts format=psp -oac lavc -ovc lavc -lavcopts aglobal=1:vglobal=1:coder=0:vcodec=libx264:acodec=libfaac:vbitrate=4500:abitrate=128 -vf scale=1280:720 -ofps 25000/1001 -o $outputFile Any ideas?   OK, so back before ice age, I recall having a Sinclair ZX80 PC (with TV as a display, and a cassette tape player as storage device). Obviously, the programs on cassette tapes made a very distinct sound (er... noise) when playing the tape... I was wondering if someone still had those tapes? The reason (and the reason this Q is programming related) is that IIRC different languages made somewhat different pitched noises, but I would like to run the tape and listen myself to confirm if that was really the case...
