  • How to restrict all services to single domain in Ubuntu?

    Someone has pointed an unknown domain to my server's IP address likely via A records. I would like to reject access to ALL services (httpd, ssh, mail, etc.) from this domain and only allow requests from my domain. I want to make it so when I connect to that domain it's completely rejected from my server. I can disallow access from HTTP by changing my web server settings, but I want to do this for every single type of connection. How can I do this?

  • ArrayCollection error in Flex does not accept single XML nodes - alternatives?

    hello, i get this error when i retrieve an XML that only has 1 node (no repeating nodes) and i try to store in an ArrayCollection. -When I have MORE than 1 "name" nodes...i do NOT get an error. TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert "XXXXXX" to mx.collections.ArrayCollection. this error occurs as the line of code: myList= e.result.list.name; Why can't ArrayCollection work with a single node? I'm using this ArrayCollection as a dataprovider for a Component -is there an alternative I can use that will take BOTH single and repeating nodes as well as work as a dataprovider?     I'm trying to make a PHP script that will take a potentially infinite number of URLs from the command line as arguments. I also need to pass an argument that only has a single numeric value possible (to specify timeout), e.g.: ./urltest.php 60 url1.com url2.com url3.com I'm not exactly sure how to specify argv[1] to be a single numeric variable while at the same time the rest of the arguments (i.e. the list of urls) go into an array. Maybe something like: $timeout = $argv[1]; $args = func_get_args(); function numfilter($num) { return !is_numeric($num); } $urls = array_filters($args, 'numfilter'); ? Thanks in advance!

  • WebSphere MQ/MQSeries - Possible to send a message to multiple queues with single call?

    I'm queuing messages to a WebSphere MQ queue (NB: A point-to-point queue -- not a topic) using a stored procedure in my Oracle database. Is there a way to publish each message to multiple queues with a single call? What I would like is to find a solution that would incur zero additional latency on my database compared to sending the message to a single queue. Solutions that involve changing my WebSphere MQ settings are certainly welcome! What I had in mind was somehow creating a "clone" queue that got all the same messages as the original one, but I've been unable to locate anything like this in the documentation. Thanks, Jeff

I'm working in some HTML docs that have single quotes around all attribute values through the docs, like this: <div class='classone classtwo'> I'd love to be able to do a find-and-replace in each doc and replace with double quotes, like this: <div class="classone classtwo"> Many elements in the document will have multiple attributes: <div class='classone classtwo' data-scripts='lazyload'> And some will have the correct double quotes: <div class='classone classtwo' data-scripts="lazyload"> What's the best way to replace all single quotes wrapping values with double?

  • How do I process a jQuery SVG group event in a single handler?

    I'm trying to draw a button using jQuery SVG, the button is a filled rect and the text is placed on top of the rect. Rect and text are grouped and I want to control the mouseover/mouseout events. The problem is: mouseover/mouseout events are triggered separately for every element of the group. Is it possible to make a single event handler for entire group? Here is an example: gClear = svg.group(); btClear = svg.rect(gClear, 10, 10, 100, h-20, 5 ,5, attrs); txtClear = svg.text(gClear, 35, 30, "Clear", {fontFamily: "Verdana", fontWeight: "bold", fontSize: "16px"}); $(gClear, svg.root()).bind("mouseover", function() { $(btClear).animate({svgFill: '#adf'}, 100); }).bind("mouseout", function() { $(btClear).animate({svgFill: '#fff'}, 100); }) When I move the mouse inside the rect the events mouseover/mouseout are triggered.     I am looking for T-SQL code to list all tables in all databases in SQL Server (at least in SS2005 and SS2008; would be nice to also apply to SS2000). The catch, however, is that I would like a single result set. This precludes the otherwise excellent answer from Pinal Dave: sp_msforeachdb 'select "?" AS db, * from [?].sys.tables' The above stored proc generates one result set per database, which is fine if you are in an IDE like SSMS that can display multiple result sets. However, I want a single result set because I want a query that is essentially a "find" tool: if I add a clause like WHERE tablename like '%accounts' then it would tell me where to find my BillAccounts, ClientAccounts, and VendorAccounts tables regardless of which database they reside in.

So the data must be accessible from various processes. The data being cached is read-only. For now, all processes are located on the same machine. The environment is .net framework 3.5 and c#.   • iPhone post-processing with a single FBO with Opengl ES 2.0?

    I am trying to implement post-processing (blur, bloom, etc.) on the iPhone using OpenGL ES 2.0. I am running into some issues. When rendering during my second rendering step, I end up drawing a completely black quad to the screen instead of the scene (it appears that the texture data is missing) so I am wondering if the cause is using a single FBO. Is it incorrect to use a single FBO in the following fashion? For the first pass (regular scene rendering), I attach a texture as COLOR_ATTACHMENT_0 and render to a texture. glFramebufferTexture2D(GL_FRAMEBUFFER, GL_COLOR_ATTACHMENT0, GL_TEXTURE_2D, texturebuffer, 0) For the second pass (post-processing), I attach the color renderbuffer to COLOR_ATTACHMENT_0 glFramebufferRenderbuffer(GL_FRAMEBUFFER, GL_COLOR_ATTACHMENT0, GL_RENDERBUFFER, colorRenderbuffer) Then use the texture from the first pass for rendering as a quad on the screen.

  • Single file in a working copy (branch) pointing to trunk under TortoiseSVN?

    Got a very strange problem. I've got a working copy which is from a branch. When I commit any changes from this working copy, one single file in the working copy gets committed to the trunk. If I right-click this single file and click Commit the SVN URL displayed points to the /trunk and not the branch. How on earth could this happen? I used TortoiseSVN to create the branch in the first place. How can I fix this?

However, I'd prefer to still have a single connection to the client. Is this possible? I guess the answer is No, so how should I solve this issue? Is there a workaround?     Hi, With Microsoft SQL Server 2005, is it possible to combine the processing power of multiple physical servers into a single logical sql server? Is it possible on SQL Server 2008? I'm thinking, if the database files were located on a SAN and somehow one of the sql servers acted as a kind of master, then processing could be spread out over multiple physical servers, for instance even allowing simultaneous updates where there was no overlap, and in the case of read-only queries on unlocked tables no limit. We have an application that is limited by the speed of our sql server, and probably stuck with server 2005 for now. Is the only option to get a single more powerful physical server? Sorry I'm not an expert, I'm not sure if the question is a stupid one. TIA

    hi, in PHP.INI, I can set the variable "error_log" and it is currently set to "error_log", which manes one file of that name in each directory Do you know ... if I set it to "public_html/error_log" - will I get only one single error log file? Any other way to do so? I really just want a single site-wide error file to check, rather than one on each sub-directory. For bonus marks, can I send myself an email each time a new entry is added to the file? Left as an exercise for the reader - can I ignore some "errors" which aren't really?

  • What does "single-bit ECC errors were detected on the RAID controller" mean?

    I have a Dell T7600 with a Perc H710P RAID controller and 4 attached 3TB drives. Over the past few months the RAID controller has been intermittently reporting errors on boot: "no boot device found", "adapter at baseport is not responding", disks frequently reported as missing or failed. I have since replaced the RAID controller, the 4 hard drives, and finally the system's motherboard. After replacing the motherboard and rebooting a few times, I got the error Single bit ECC errors were detected on the RAID controller. Please contact technical support to resolve this issue. After rebooting about 20 more times, I haven't seen the ECC error. The system seems otherwise OK, except for the fact that the disk fans will sometimes start blowing at full blast when the the system is sitting completely idle and not stop until I reboot. Are the ECC errors in memory on the RAID controller? Or, does the RAID controller map in system memory, and the ECC errors are really in system memory? Or, are the ECC errors in the 1GB cache that resides in the RAID controller?
