    One of my clients websites, www.kevinsplants.co.uk is not showing the search results in alphabetical order, how do I go about ordering the results in alphabetical order? We are using the Shopp plugin and I believe its that plugin that is generating the results!   • Bind to Count of items in the DataContext

    I want to bind to the Count/amount of items within my DataContext. I have an object, lets say person which has a List<address> as a property. I would like to display the amount of addresses for that person ie: 5 or 6 or whatever the case may be. I've tried {Binding Path=address#.Count} and a few others but that doesnt seem to work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    I am trying to send a HTTP PUT (in order to create a new cache and populate it with my generated JSON) to ehCache using my webservice which is on the same local tomcat instance. Am new to RESTful Web Services and am using JDK 1.6, Tomcat 7, ehCache, and JSON.     In PHP you can create form elements with names like: category[1] category[2] or even category[junk] category[test] When the form is posted, category is automatically turned into a nice dictionary like: category[1] => "the input value", category[2] => "the other input value" Is there a way to do that in Django? request.POST.getlist isn't quite right, because it simply returns a list, not a dictionary. I need the keys too.

Furthermore , how can I return a value , whenever I choose ?   • Using a dropdown on a static webpage as a DataSource in C#.net

    I know this is a terrible way of doing things, but it's for an internal app where security is no issue. Basically, an old group created a php page with a drop down and this drop down is populated with entries from a DB. The DB owner is currently absent and for the sake of time, I would just need something that turns the entries in that drop down, always at the same url with the same ID every load into a List. Is there a quick, painless way to do this in .NET?

  • MS Access 07 - Q re lookup column vs many-to-many; Q re checkboxes in many-to-many forms

    Hello, I'm creating a database with Access. This is just a test database, similar to my requirements, so I can get my skills up before creating one for work. I've created a database for a fictional school as this is a good playground and rich data (many students have many subjects have many teachers, etc). Question 1 What is the difference, if any, between using a Lookup column and a many-to-many associate table? Example: I have Tables 'Teacher' and 'Subject'. Many teachers have many subjects. I can, and have, created a table 'Teacher_Subject' and run queries with this. I have then created a lookup column in teachers table with data from subjects. The lookup column seems to take the place of the teacher_subject table. (though the data on relationships is obviously duplicated between lookup table and teacher_subject and may vary). Which one is the 'better' option? Is there a snag with using lookup tables? (I realize that this is a very 'general' question. Links to other resources and answers saying 'that depends...' are appreciated) Question 2 What attracts me to lookup tables is the following: When creating a form for entering subjects for teachers, with lookup I can simply create checkboxes and click a subject for a teacher 'on' or 'off'. Each click on/off creates/removes a record in the lookup column (which replaces teacher_subject). If I use a form from a query from teacher subject with teacher as main form and subject as subform I run into this problem: In the subform I can either select each subject that teacher has in a bombo box, i.e. click, scroll down, select, go to next row, click, scroll down, etc. (takes too long) OR I can create a list box listing all available subjects in each row but allowing me to select only one. (takes up too much space). Is it possible to have a click on/off list box for teacher_subject, creating/removing a record there with each click? Note - I know zero SQL or VB. If the correct answer is "you need to know SQL for this" then that's cool. I just need to know. Thanks!

    I have a project with a lot of tests failing, so it would be great for me to receive by email the number of failed tests compare from the latest build. What i need is just the info that appears in the project's page by the test results link: Latest Test Result (10 failures / -2) Is this possible? I've already tried the email-ext plugin, but it is not telling me that info (I can have the list of failing tests with output etc., but I really just need that info above). Any ideas?
