  • Can't click on a button with startDrag() active on stage

    I need to know how can I enable mouse click on a button when I have a MouseEvent listener for the stage. I have a MClip associated with the mouse cursor: Mouse.hide(); scope.startDrag(true); And an MouseEnvet on the stage: stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, FunctionXYZ); When I try to click on any button they don't assume the function that I create for those buttons... for example, button for fullscreen, exit, help, etc...     How do I set up an HTTP Redirect rule to redirect all requests for a virtual directory to another virtual directory, when I don't know the hostname or complete URL, and cannot use the URL Rewrite module? The following redirects should work: http://host1/app/oldvdir -> http://host1/app/newvdir http://host1/app/oldvdir/ -> http://host1/app/newvdir/ http://host1/app/oldvdir/login.aspx -> http://host1/app/newvdir/login.aspx http://host2/app/oldvdir/login.aspx -> http://host2/app/newvdir/login.aspx I would like to place the redirect rule in the app's root web.config.   • Exempt programs from using active VPN connection

    When I connect to a VPN, all my network traffic is automatically routed through it. Is there a way to add exemptions to that? I don't know if adding exceptions has anything to do with the VPN protocol, but the VPN I'm using is of the OpenVPN protocol. Speaking of OpenVPN, why is it not installed by default on Ubuntu installs unlike PPTP? I could not get the list of IRCHighWay's servers, and this is the result I get trying to connect on XChat with running the bash script running: * Looking up irc.irchighway.net * Connecting to irc.irchighway.net (65.23.153.98) port 6667... * Connected.   • Best way to let users choose country/language when submiting an URL to a directory

    Hi all, I want to offer the user the possibility to add the country/language for websites they would submit to a fairly simple website directory. I have a folder with flags from http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/flags/ . The flag images are named according to the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country codes, meaning that I could make a PHP script that would be able to retrieve images and the name of the country retrieved from the image name (not the full name, but it wouldn't be necessary). Just to make things clearer, I couldn't find a proper combo-box jQuery plugin for my needs (that would act exactly like the native but with an icon before the text) and don't really have the time to develop one on my own. Considering the number of images, I also wouldn't just display them all with a radio box near them. Also, having a classic drop-down list would be a nightmare for me as I would have to assign the short country name manually to each entry, or do it once for every country. Offering the user a dropdown list with the short country names but no flag near them would also be unfriendly and confusing. The idea is that every website featured in the directory would have the country flag icon near it. I have the images named properly but I don't know how to let the user choose the right image for their website. Any idees? Thank you all in advance!   • mod_rewrite works within directory not on root

    I am having problem in my RewriteRule for the tags portion. What I am able to debug is that the rule is been triggered at least because the page "tags.php" is been rendered but without the URL parameters. This .htaccess file with the rules is within root for my sub-domain and has following content for tags postion. # Rewrite rule for tags RewriteRule ^tags/(\w+)/(\d+)/?$ tags.php?tag_name=$1&tag_id=$2 RewriteRule ^tags/(\w+)/?$ tags.php?tag_name=$1 RewriteRule ^tags/?$ tags.php?tag_name= Another problem that I ain't able to debug is that the similar .htaccess file exists for a directory within my sub domain and is working as expected with the necessary URL parameters also been available.   • Compiz and Clearlooks window border breaks active/inactive title bars

    When I turn on Compiz with the Compiz tray switcher and I use Clearlooks, Dust Sand, or possibly any title bar style that normally has window icons on right, some window title bars will not change. Instead, they stay selected or unselected randomly. Some windows, like Ubuntu Software Center and CCSM are unaffected. This problem only happens with GTK window manager. I am using the Malteworld compiz ppa for Emerald. The problem does not happen with plain Metacity, or a title bar style that normally has close button on right. Edit: It still happens with Emerald. Reinstalled with upgrade option (yeah, 11.04 to 11.04) and still same problem. So maybe faulty package?

  • Active Directory auto login to website for domain users

    I am putting together an Intranet for a company - I have set up authentication to get into the Intranet from a login box linked to AD via LDAP/ However the client wants (if possible) to have users automatically authenticate into the intranet if they are logged into the domain. AD and IIS7.5 are on separate servers (in the same network). I believe that I need to use WindowsAuthentication to do this - but will that work? as the web server is not part of the domain: do I need to tell IIS where the AD server is? The next part could be more complex: once the user has authenticated, I need to drag user details from AD about the user, I guess with LDAP, however I will need to know the user's username in order to do this, won't I? as the user hast had to type this in, how do I get that? The intranet site is in asp.net 4 VB.

    I've been doing a lot of reading these last two days on Microsoft Prism, but the thing I'm still not very sure of is what does the future look like for it? I know that version 4.1 was just released a few months ago, but besides Microsoft's own documentation, I haven't found many blog posts written in the last year on the subject, most of what I find is 2009-2010. It definitely looks interesting but the learning curve seems to be a bit steep and I wouldn't want to embark if it's going to become obsolete in the near future. Anyone has any insight on this?

  • Clicking on active apps on unity launcher stopped working

    I don't know how it suddenly became this but here's what's happening right now: e.g. I have 2 firefox windows open, so I see 2 small arrows on the left side icon of the unity launcher. Before, when I click on the firefox icon, I see 2 small windows of the firefox so I can choose which one. Now it suddenly stopped working. (super+W still works though). The bug on my system applies to all progams with multiple window instances like nautilus, terminal, etc. Please help, I don't know what to do. I also have cairo dock, compiz, myunity installed in my 12.04. I tried searching online to no avail.

  • Working with Active Directory and Windows Small Business Server 2008

    I have to say that in most of my time as a network engineer I have had the opportunity to play with servers, but mostly it's been to put our management software on, and that was about it. I have been a Systems Network Engineer for about three months now, and as such I have been respnosible for the configuration of our test devices... this being said, I have had to start working through how to configure and apply such things as GPO through a new forest, domain and OU. This being said I have configured about three different GPO's and applied them to different locations. The first laptop that I brought into the domain took the default Domain group Policy... this was cool, I got excited... then When I tried to bring in the second Laptop, it didn't take the policy. I looked at the configuration, and the default domain policy was applied to domain computers, however since the laptop resides in the SBS Computers of the OU that was created, SBS created individual policies for XP and Vista for that OU, which I was unaware of. So the default policy for that ou overrode the domain policy and none of the options that were defined in the Domain policy were applied... this being said, I am now working on putting the default Domain as an applicable policy in the OU, thus I won't have to reconfigure another policy to mirror the Domain Policy... here goes nothing!!!.... I run chromium and used this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~chromium-daily/+archive/stable I just realized that it seems to be abandoned and I'm running a quite outdated version of this browser. There have not been any updates since the first of May this year. Do you know of any PPA thats actively maintained? Thanks, trmpa (Yes, I know, I could use google chrome but i would like to go with chromium if possible. Building from source is also not a good option. It's not my own machine and I need updates to work reliably without much intervention from the user)
