• How can I clear *old* browsing data from Google Chrome Linux, while keeping more recent data?

  I can find plenty of information on how to clear Google Chrome's recent browsing data, in various periods, as well as clearing all browsing data. But I want to clear old browsing data—say for a start, anything over two months old. (I'm trying to save space on a crowded laptop.) Does anyone know any principled way to do this, or shall I just dive into ~/.config/google, start removing likely-looking files, and hope for the best. I run Google Chrome on Debian Linux.

• XP User account cannot write to USB

  Is there a local security policy setting or somesuch to allow limited user accounts to modify the contents of USB drives? Currently I get an "Access denied" error, further saying "Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use." The Administrator account has no such obstacles. Update: The problem is at least solvable by altering NTFS permissions (granting Full Control to Users), and therefore I'm losing hope that there is a more global solution.

• Computer stopped working(ASUS P5GD1-VM)

  My computer stopped working the other day, I came down and it was kind of chriping away then when I restarted it it only did the same thing, I unplugged everything not needed and it did nothing at all, I thought maybe powersupply but when I took cover off the green light on MB was on and powersuppy is making little buzz sound, but nothing happens when I turn com on other than the green light on MB flickers a bit, I checked memory in other com and it works fine, love to be able to fix with as litttle cost as possible, hope someone here can help... P4-640 (3.2E GHz, 800 FSB, L2:2MB, EM64T, HT)

• Remove c:/windows/syswow64/msxml4.dll

  A program has installed c:/windows/syswow64/msxml4.dll on my hard drive. Sadly this is an old version (4.30.2100.0) with a security problem therefore I really wants to remove the file and the program that installed it. MSXML4 is not in the list of programs that I can uninstall under "Programs and features". Is there a way to find the program that installed it in windows 8.1? Hope some of you can help.

• Unable to edit Webpart

  Hi All, I have a Telerik RadEditor on the sharepoint and iam unable to edit the webpart. How can i edit the webpart, please suggest. The “Edit” option is not visible although i have clicked on “edit page” from site actions. IMP:- the webpart uses 3 images all of which are of size 567X113 pixels. • Letting users make their own dns changes? Any software available to manage this tricky situation?

  I currently waste a lot of time making dns changes for my organization. DDNS of course helps for workstations, but we still have a few thousand unique servers with still more applications needing cname records that DHCP/DDNS alone will not support, so someone needs to make updates, but I'd like to see sysadmins make their own dns updates for their machines. I'm currently working on extending our asset database to support this functionality, but I hold out hope that there are COTS solutions available.

• What is the state of ext3 support in Mac OS X 10.6? [closed]

  Possible Duplicate: Mount ext2/ext3 in Mac OS X Snow Leopard I have a 1tb hard drive, I want it to have one partition that can serve as an interchange between linux (ubuntu) and mac (snow leopard). HFS+ scares me a bit, and I can't seem to get a clear picture on whether or not something like fuse can reliably write ext3 partitions in mac. Any good advice on this topic? Should I just pick HFS+ or ext3 and hope for the best (or just deal with only getting read-only on one OS)?

• UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME error on laptop with no CD Drive

  I am getting the UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME error on my Samsung laptop which does not have a CD Rom drive. I tried to merge the C and D partitions to get more space but since then the laptop does not start up anymore. I dont care about the laptop, just about some pictures on there which I did not back up yet. I really hope someone can help me?!! I have plugged the power supply to MB and the cable from "ON" button to pins named "PWR" and the LEDs. However when I turn on the PC, both HDD and POWER leds are continously on and the PC cannot be turned out. What could I be missing?

I have a client from whom I have developed a PHP based Facebook project, who is hosting their site on IIS with ASP and no access to PHP, so they have created a sub domain to point to my server to host the site. I have an SSL on www.mydomain.com, but their sub domain does not have SSL (app.theirdomain.com). Would redirection from their side be possible to SSL on my side so that the FB app works?

  Is there a way to Find highlighted text that ONLY begins with a open square bracket? I've tried using the square bracket as a wildcard, but it won't find any adjoining words. For example, I have a document containing conditional paragraphs, in squared brackets, with the "name" of the paragraph highlighted at the beginning: "[Document to return Thank you for sending the documents requested earlier.]" (the section in bold is highlighted in blue in Word) Is there a way to find "[Document to return"? • Some problems I have on my iphone 5s

  I have some problems with my iphone 5s that would like to state here hope to get the sultions for them: 1- My iOS version was 7.0.2 and I installed some good apps on it, then I updated my iOS to version 7.0.3. After that when I tap some of my apps, first page of them appear and immediately vanish and don't go to the app. Does anybody know how to solve it? 2- At what percentage I should recharge the buttery?
