  • Theming the default search results page in Drupal

    I'm trying to customise the mark-up of the default search results page in Drupal 6. Specifically I'd like to remove the search box and the title from the page - I know I can hide it with CSS, but I'd rather it wasn't rendered in the first place. Ideally, in the same why that you theme a particular content type node by copying the node.tpl.php and renaming it to something like node-blog.tpl.php and then amending the mark-up accordingly - is there an equivalent way to do this for the search results page?

  • How catch "Resource not found" warnings in WPF / Visual studio

    I am working on a project, in which I am changing themes, by doing this there are some warnings being issued, and I am wondering how to prevent them from beeing issued, or reaching the debug output. `System.Windows.ResourceDictionary Warning: 9 : Resource not found`; It happens when I do Application.Current.Resources.MergedDictionaries.Clear(); Application.Current.Resources.MergedDictionaries.Add(theme.ResourceDictionary); I perfectly understand why there is a warning, I would just like to stop it being outputted (while debugging)

  • Wrapbootstrap integration

    Good Afternoon All, I'm having trouble integrating this template into my rails application. I've changes all the images and loaded all the files into their relevant areas. However they still have the subdirectories. Does anyone know of a guide I can walk through which might explain how you do this, especially to include the revolution-slider which has a whole subdirectory of CSS and images. I have many questions in my head :/ but I will find out the answers and learn many about Drupal while working on this project. ok, I have the design completed. now is it better to make xhtml-css coding of all pages, and then implementing these codes to Drupal? or is it better to make xhtml-css coding straight into Drupal theme?   • HelloWebView Sample: now using SDK 3 and getting killed

    Hey Folks, Well I was trying to get the HelloWebview example working with SDK 7 with no success (see HelloWebView Sample: java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial thread), so I decided just out of curiosity to back off to SDK3 to see if I could learn anything. I have been able to get all the "Layout" samples to work and decided to try something a little harder. Unfortunately, I still cannot get the simple HelloWebView app to run. I no longer get a Permission Denial but now the app is getting killed. Killed usually implies that there are not enough resources (memory etc.) for an application to run.... Any thoughts? Are there any other log files I can look at either on my computer or on the emulator? The main.xml, manifest, and console output are below. Let me know if you need more information.     I have a Python script that pulls in data from many sources (databases, files, etc.). Supposedly, all the strings are unicode, but what I end up getting is any variation on the following theme (as returned by repr()): u'D\\xc3\\xa9cor' u'D\xc3\xa9cor' 'D\\xc3\\xa9cor' 'D\xc3\xa9cor' Is there a reliable way to take any four of the above strings and return the proper unicode string? u'D\xe9cor' # --> Décor The only way I can think of right now uses eval(), replace(), and a deep, burning shame that will never wash away.

    In Android documentation describing "Configuring General Window Properties", it is suggested that specifying properties via XML is preferable whenever possible. As an example, instead of setting Window.FEATURE_NO_TITLE with requestWindowFeature, they set it to @android:style/Theme.NoTitleBar. Is there a similar way to set a custom title bar to be used in the XML?

    So here's the scenario, I'm building a theme that would display sub category of a parent post for Food: [Food] -Hotdog -Eggs -Fries for Toys: [Toys] -Doll -Car -Drums for People: [People] -Mom -Dad -Uncle now I don't want to display their parent category, just their subcategory (eg Doll, Car, Drums). I've looked list_cats() and wp_list_categories() but I can't figure out how to display it right. Thanks!

  • Ideas for designing an automated content tagging system needed

    I am currently designing a website that amongst other is required to display and organise small amounts of text content (mainly quotes, article stubs, etc.). I currently have a database with 250,000+ items and need to come up with a method of tagging each item with relevant tags which will eventually allow for easy searching/browsing of the content for users. A very simplistic idea I have (and one that I believe is employed by some sites that I have been looking to for inspiration (http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/topics.html)), is to simply search the database for certain words or phrases and use these words as tags for the content. This can easily be extended so that if for example a user wanted to show all items with a theme of love then I would just return a list of items with words and phrases relating to this theme. This would not be hard to implement but does not provide very good results. For example if I were to search for the month 'May' in the database with the aim of then classifying the items returned as realting to the topic of Spring then I would get back all occurrences of the word May, regardless of the semantic meaning. Another shortcoming of this method is that I believe it would be quite hard to automate the process to any large scale. What I really require is a library that can take an item, break it down and analyse the semantic meaning and also return a list of tags that would correctly classify the item. I know this is a lot to ask and I have a feeling I will end up reverting to the aforementioned method but I just thought I should ask if anyone knew of any pre-existing solution. I think that as the items in the database are short then it is probably quite a hard task to analyse any meaning from them however I may be mistaken. Another path to possibly go down would be to use something like amazon turk to outsource the task which may produce good results but would be expensive. Eventually I would like users to be able to (and want to!) tag content and to vote for the most relevant tags, possibly using a gameification mechanic as motivation however this is some way down the line. A temporary fix may be the best thing if this were the route I decided to go down as I could use the rough results I got as the starting point for a more in depth solution.     hello, I have created a custom page which sits at site.com/user/me/soe now im trying to theme this page and have created a subsequent template file. however if i copy in any basic html into my template file, all it does is produce a white page with my text and abandons the sites structure i originally had. i was hoping somebody could help me understand preprocessing as i feel that is the way to solve this.

    Is there a good php syntax highlighter for Emacs? I'm using Emacs 23. I've tried php-mode, but that doesn't do anything. I've tried nXhtml, but that ignores my color theme and reverts to some awful looking default. Is there one I've missed or perhaps a configuration setting I've ignored?
