  I am trying to use zend framework 2, i follow these instructions on centos6 via ssh. http://framework.zend.com/manual/2.0/en/user-guide/skeleton-application.html and when trying to start my website up, it gives an error, i go to the error log and i get this. • Thunderbird replacement with PGP support

  Is there any good Thunderbird replacement with full PGP support ? To be more exact replacement for (Thb +Enigmail this is the tandem Im using now) Best way would be if PGP would be built in into application. Commercial software is also fine :) excluding M$ software. What I need: - PGP support - application much more stable than Thunderbird, - support for Gmail out of the box including support for labels, - better search functionality (search in THB is far away from perfection), - cross platform (I should be able to run it on windows and Linux). So do you guys have an experience with other mail clients which have PGP support ?

  I want to configure a local apache server to serve php files with different php versions. In my document root I have phpinfo.php, now if I go to http://localhost/phpinfo.php4, I want to see the phpinfo.php file processed with php4, if I go to http://localhost/phpinfo.php5 I want to see the same file processed with php5. Note: both php 4 and 5 are already installed side by side, I have no problem configuring apache to treat files that have a .php4 or .php5 extension on the filesystem with the correct php version. What I want is for apache to do the following: If the url-path ends in .php5, serve the file which has a .php extension on the filesystem using the application/x-httpd-php5 handler. If the url-path ends in .php4, serve the same file with the .php extension on the filesystem using the application/x-httpd-php4 handler.

• Simple HTTP server that will send the same file for all requests?

  I need to debug a XML-RPC application, which sends XML replies over HTTP. I have a sample XML reply (i.e. data from the server, sent to the client that isn't working), I'd like to debug my application. Ideally I'd like a simple HTTP server that will serve one file in reply to all requests. Someone requests /? Send them this file. Someone makes a post to /server/page.php with a certain cookie? Just send them this file. I don't care about multithreading, or security. I will only need to use this for a few hours to debug. I have root on the machine. i.e. I'm hoping there's something as easy to use as this: simple_http_server -p 12445 -f my_test_file I'm aware of python's SimpleHTTPServer module, but I'm not sure how to make it work in this case.

• AD Authentication fails in local machine but works from Production server

  Hi i am using a AD authentication and facing 2 problems. Authentication works fine when i move the application to a production server but FAILS in my LOCAL machine. Both local machine and server are in same domain and used same domain account logging in. When the machine logs in the users with domain account , AD authentication from the application says that the account is not valid. • How to make a quiet laptop?

  Most modern laptops have very noisy fans. I am looking for a quiet laptop or a small stationary computer which has all its hardware built in a display. Most tasks will be PDF/docs processing, real-time audio processing, web-surfing and Skype video chats. Certainly, there is no any fan-less model today; but maybe some of the existed laptops do not switch on their fans so often or implement different solutions? For example, an iPad has no fan at all and it is fast enough for my needs, but it has no normal operating system, so I can't use it for anything but audio chats and web-surfing. Or maybe I can buy a laptop and tweak it to make it absolutely noiseless? Can you recommend any solution please?

• What's the easiest way to create an HTTP proxy which adds basic authentication to requests?

  I am trying to use a service provided by a server which requires basic HTTP authentication, however the application I am using does not support authentication. What I'd like to do is create a proxy that will enable my auth-less application to connect via the proxy (which will add the authentication information) to the server requiring authentication. I'm sure this can be done, however I'm overwhelmed with the number of proxies out there and couldn't find an answer how to do this. Basically it seems all I want to do is have a proxy serve this URL: http://username:password@remoteserver/path as this URL: http://proxyserver/path I can run it on Linux, but a plus if I can run it Windows as well. Open source or at least free is a must. A big plus is if it's fairly straightforward to setup.

We are able to set : proxy_set_header Accept */*; However, this seems to have to be done inconditionally. Whenever trying to do : if ($http_accept !~ ".") { proxy_set_header Accept */*; } It complains with the message : "proxy_set_header" directive is not allowed here So, using nginx, how can we set the HTTP Accept header to */* when it is empty before sending the request to the application server ?

• Bigger ProjectServer farm is performing worse

  I am using Project Server 2007 sp3 with SharePoint 2007 sp3 and SQL Server 2008 r2. I have recently moved my farm from 2 servers (1 DB and 1 App/Web) to a very big farm having Many Servers, Clustered Database, Load Balancer, Powerful processors and Large RAM. This Farm has more than one Web Servers, Project App Servers, SharePoint App Servers and a separate Index Server. But the performance of Project Server in the new Farm has been downgraded. Views are taking even more time to load data and Project publishing time has also been increased. I am also facing deadlock problems which are causing the project server queue jobs to fail. Could anyone inform me that what would be the reason of this problem and what should be the starting point to look into the issue? Is it mainly because now the application server needs to communicate with other application servers which were not needed in the previous farm? Thanks!

  I have SQL Server Express 2008 installed on a Windows 7 (32-bit) developer workstation. Whenever I run an application that accesses SQL Server the Windows 7 shell hangs when the application closes. Applications like Windows Explorer and Task Manager become completely unresponsive. The task bar will not allow any interaction. The only way to recover the system is to power cycle. Two of the applications in use when this happens are NUnit and SQL Server Management Studio. NUnit always runs the unit tests that interact with the database fine. SQL Server Management Studio will sometimes cause the problem while trying to explore the database. The Windows event log does not show any events that are obviously connected to the problem. I have reverted and reinstalled SQL Server Express 2008 several times. What can be done to identify what is causing SQL Server Express 2008 to hang the Windows 7 shell?

I thought about building a linux-based virtual machine with an encrypted filesystem where the application code resides. The client has no root access, or direct access to the system at all.   I honestly don't even know where to start.. I created a Windows Server 2012 (Azure) VM, inside of VM I THOUGHT I did everything whatever is required to run ASP.NET application.. BUT that wasn't a case. I'm stuck and unable to run a simple ASP.NET app HelloWorld( and I blame Microsoft! • How to reliably run a batch job every 5 seconds?

  I'm building an application where the sending of all notifications (email, SMS, fax) will be asynchronous. The application will write the notifications to the database, and a batch job will read these notifications and send them with the appropriate transport. I was first reading at ways to run cron faster than the minute, and realized this was a bad idea. The batch scripts are written in PHP, and I guess that writing a proper daemon would be quite an overhead (though I'm open to any suggestion, as PHP car run indefinitely as well). What I have in mind is a solution that would: Run the PHP script every 5 seconds Check that the previous run has finished, or abort (never 2 concurrent batches running) Kill the script if live for more than x minutes (a security in case it hangs) Start with the system (if a reboot occurs) Any idea how to do this?

• Django fails to find static files served by nginx

  I know this is a really noobish question but I can't find any solution despite finding the problem trivial. I have a django application deployed with gunicorn. The static files are served by the nginx server with the following url : myserver.com/static/admin/css/base.css. However, my django application keep looking for the static files at myserver.com:8001/static/admin/css/base.css and is obviously failing (404). I don't know how to fix this. Is it a django or an nginx problem ? • Downloading content greater than 2000 bytes from local network hangs in browser on Windows XP

  We have web application that runs under Tomcat in a local network. Our customers experience strange problem using this web application. Let's say Tomcat server runs on host1 and we open webapp URL in browser on host2. Any browser on host 2 starts opening page and downloading of content "hangs" for hours. We've made bunch of experiments and found that any content larger than 2000 bytes makes browser request hang. Tried in Internet Explorer 8, Opera 12, Firefox. At the same time if user opens website from internet, it works. Opening webapp from the same host1 where Tomcat is running works normally. Local network is organized with D-Link DGS-3120-48TC switch. Additional info. During experiments we've noticed XP Tweaker installed on hosts. Network settings from that tool: MTU is manually set to 1500 RWIN = 14600 Support of TCP frames larger than 64 KB is on Time to Live = 32 SACK is on

I have Varnish running on external_ip:80 I have Nginx behind running on internal_ip:80 Both are listening on port 80, one internal port, one external. NOTE: the node.js app runs on WebSockets Now I have the my new node.js application that will listen on port 8080. Can I have varnish set up that it is in front of both nginx and node.js. Varnish has to proxy the websocket to port 8080, but then the static files such as css, js, etc has to go trough port 80 to nignx. Nginx does not support websockets out of the box, else I would so a setup like: varnish - nignx - node.js
