So i have "TextBox - Ecran pentru introducerea unui text.", then two lines, then BIBLIOGRAFIE. how can i write that? with this code, the space between List and TextBox items are very large, and BIBLIOGRAFIE is displayed at the buttom... why? if i use \linebreak after \end{enumerate} i got a compile error Please help Thankls!

• Determining if and where a photon will collide with a polygon in 3D space.

  The problem is straight forward: 1) We have a photon traveling from Point 1 (x,y,z) to Point 2 (x,y,z), both of which could be located anywhere in 3D space. 2) We have a polygon that is both rotated randomly on the x-axis and/or y-axis and also located anywhere in 3D space. 3) We want to find: a) if the photon will collide with the polygon at all and b) if it does where will that be (x,y,z)? • Python win32api not moving mouse cursor in VirtualBox

  I'm trying to use this Python code: import math for i in xrange(500): x = 500 + math.sin(math.pi * i / 100) * 500 y = 500 + math.cos(i) * 100 x, y = int(x), int(y) win32api.SetCursorPos((x, y)) time.sleep(.01) taken from here to move the mouse cursor in an XP VirtualBox. The mouse icon will flicker to the appropriate graphic (when it hits the edge of a window it turns into the <- resize image, for instance), but it doesn't actually move the visible cursor. I can move the mouse around while the code is running. Same result using the ctypes example in the above link. It works fine in the Win7 host. I have Guest Additions installed, if that matters.

• low latency data link pc to android

  can anyone recommend a method for low latency bi-directional com link between my pc app and android slave app. the app i have works now via wifi but the latency is too slow (about 300mS), i'm looking to get it down to 10mS or so. the android is acting like a glorified remote control to the game on the pc. the apk displays a low res image and sends button presses back to the game and the round trip need to be quick i'm thinking the only option beside the network, is to connect a usb cable but i don't see a lot of support for that path and not even sure it would be lower latency than wifi any ideas please?

I tried using a relative path, but not able to get it to work. <% if FileTest.exist?( "/" + @imagename ) % any help appreciated.

• SQL Not Exists in this Query - is it possible

  This is my script - it simply looks for the image file associated to a person record. Now the error will display if there is NO .jpg evident when the query runs. Msg 4860, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Cannot bulk load. The file "C:\Dev\ClientServices\Defence\RAN\Shore\Config\Photos\002054.2009469432270600.001.jpg" does not exist. Is there a way to write this query to 'IF not exists then set id_number = '002054.2009469432270427.001' - so it wil always display this photo for any records without a picture. • Layout Problem on Bigger resolution Phone like Nexus one?

  dear friends, i have created application using layout font sizes in "pixels" font and other layout looks fine on HTC hero and Motorola Droid but in nexus one which is bigger resolution phone every thing is messed up. for example , i have used font 18px which is bigger size in HTC Hero and Motorola but in Nexus one it is looking very small. same is the case with image height and width a banner looks fine on both phones but in nexus one very small. actually we dont have height and width in percentage thats why i am not able to solve this problem. layout_width="fill_parent" also not helping.. kindly help me out what should i do to make application look same in all the phones with different resolutions.

These items follow fixed HTML template (table,image) and only specific content fields (name, body text..) can be change in the back-end. Backend users can add new pages or new items each page. • Buttons with equal heights.

  Linear layout below. This layout is aligned parent bottom in a Relative Layout. Problem is I want all buttons to have the same height. • Using the filename for GET data and making the PHP page output as a JPG extension?

  Alright, currently I'm using GD to create a PNG image that logs a few different things, depending on the GET data, for example: http://example.com/file.php?do=this will log one thing while http://example.com/file.php?do=that will log another thing. However, I'd like to do it without GET data, so instead http://example.com/dothis.php will log one thing, and http://example.com/dothat.php will log the other. But on top of that, I'd also like to make it accessible via the JPG file extension. I've seen this done but I can't figure out how. So that way http://example.com/dothis.JPG will log one thing, while http://example.com/dothat.JPG logs the other. The logging part is simple, of course. I simple need to know how to use filenames in place of the GET data and how to set the php file to be accessible via a jpg file extension.

  Hello, I am saving the image at this location :- private static String photoGalleryPath = "/Common/PhotoGallery/"; In PhotoGallery. I create userid wise folders and save images. Everything works fine. But when i clean and build my project. The whole folder of PhotoGallery gets deleted. This looks very funny to me :). Why does it delete my whole folder everytime? And what more should i do to tell the extra smart Glassfish to not to delete my folders?

• How to override browser default download behavior for files?

  Lots of times we have to download files from the net. In IE we get to see the ugly download progress bar. In firefox we get to see a pop-up window opening etc. However, I have never seen this being over ridden in any manner. Until recently on the site *thesixtyone DOT com* If we get to download a song free and click on the ok link to start the download we get a pop up to select location in the default style of windows. • hidden style affecting links in table?

  In a table of mine I have the table header, th which have two separate links in each cell. Each of them wrap to a new line which I don't want. If I remove all the style sheets it doesn't fix it. If i disable style sheets in the browser it fixes it but there are no inline styles that would cause the wrapping. If they are non-hyperlinked words they don't wrap. If i use the td tag it doesn't fix it either. There is too much code all over the shop to post but all I want is in a th cell a word with an image next to it with a different hyperlink. Hope that makes sense

  I like using the vector drawing feature of Expression Blend to create icons. That way I can change colors easily on my icons without having to resort to an image editor. But my question is... Say I have a treeview control that has an icon next to each tree element and say I have hundreds of elements. Do you think using images is faster - performance wise than using vector icons? B/c I'd rather use vectors but I'm wondering about performance concerns.

  I am doing a custom control, that should be painted like as standard one, but also having a Icon displayed near it. What should I add to manage it properly? In the image we can see that after moving from top to bottom the line(custom control) even is not properly redrawn. I tried to do public override void Invalidate() {     base.Invalidate();     if (Parent != null) {         Parent.Invalidate(new Rectangle( X1, Y1 - iconSize.Width / 2, iconSize.Width, iconSize.Height));     } } but this does not work - when changing location the Invalidate is not even called. If it matter the custom control inherits from VisualBasic.PowerPacks.LineShape component.

  I am trying to crop a large image to make thumbnails. But I can't get WideImage to save the file. I've tried the following: 1st method: $img = WideImage::load('../files/' . $file_name)->crop('center', 'center', 200, 200); $img->saveToFile('../files/thumb/thumb_' . $file_name); 2nd method: $img = WideImage::load('../files/' . $file_name)->crop('center', 'center', 200, 200); $img->copy('../files/thumb/thumb_' . $file_name); But nothing seems to happen, when I am performing any of these methods. I am getting no errors and no thumbnails. Am I doing something wrong here?

  I saw a flash website and was curious to now if this is something possible to build using Jquery, obviously not the entire thing. I was more looking to fade out div1 and div2 with a button click. This is the example site: www.justinfarrellyconstruction.com Example: If i come to the homepage and click the portfolio button the Gallery Div will fade out then fade in another image. At the same time the Text div will fade out its content and load the portfolio text. My apologies if this does not make sense, this is all quite new to me and im trying got learn.

• AS3: resizing as a result of an eventListener

  Hi everyone, I have coded a map that when a province object is clicked on, it should move to the center of the screen and grow a percentage of the width, along with displaying a number of different things. The problem is that in order for the image to resize it needs to be clicked on twice. It moves, and all of the children display just as they were designed to do, but the resize doesn't work on the first try.
