    Sites lite faary.com wufoo.com/and theformsite.com help you building forms But the output tables that being created are password protected as far as i know. Are there sites/scripts like the above which can make the output visible to all ? Something like a "guest book" script/form that you can edit the fields and the output will show immediately ?     I expect any good program should do all their reads and writes in a loop until all data written/read without relying that write will write everything (even with regular files). Am I right? Implemented simple FUSE filesystem which only allows reading and writing with small buffers, very often returning that it is written less bytes that in a buffer (using -o direct_io). Some programs work, some not (notably mountlo). Are them buggy or programs should not expect truncated writes and reads from the regular files? In general, are seekable file descriptors expected to truncate data like sockets and pipes?

I saw few examples on MSDN (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms761363(VS.85).aspx) that demonstrate how to sign the document with CSP (I don't know what this means).     Guys, I have been looking for a portable method to digitally sign arbitrary text which can be placed in a document and distributed while maintaining its verifiable origin. Here is an example: a = 'some text' a.sign(<private key>) # => <some signature in ASCII format> The contents of a can now be distributed freely. If a receiver wants to check the validity of said text they can do the following: b = 'some text' b.valid(<public key>, <signature supplied with text>) # => true/false Is there any library out there that already offers this kind of functionality? Ruby standard library contains SHA hashing code so at lest there is a portable way to perform the hashing but from that point I am struggling to find anything which fits purpose. Kind Regards, Roja

  • Read large amount of data from file in Java

    Hello I've got text file that contains 1 000 002 numbers in following formation: 123 456 1 2 3 4 5 6 .... 999999 100000 Now I need to read that data and allocate it to int variables (the very first two numbers) and all the rest (1 000 000 numbers) to an array int[]. It's not a hard task, but - it's horrible slow. My first attempt was java.util.Scanner: Scanner stdin = new Scanner(new File("./path")); int n = stdin.nextInt(); int t = stdin.nextInt(); int array[] = new array[n]; for (int i = 0; i < n; i++) { array[i] = stdin.nextInt(); } It works as excepted but it takes about 7500 ms to execute. I need to fetch that data in up to several hundred of milliseconds. Then I tried java.io.BufferedReader: Using BufferedReader.readLine() and String.split() I got the same results in about 1700 ms, but it's still too many. How can I read that amount of data in less that 1 second? The final result should be equal to: int n = 123; int t = 456; int array[] = { 1, 2, 3, 4, ..., 999999, 100000 };

  • Spring MVC: Where to place validation and how to validation entity references.

    Let's say I have the following command bean for creating a user: public class CreateUserCommand { private String userName; private String email; private Integer occupationId; pirvate Integer countryId; } occupationId and countryId are drop down selected values on the form. They map to an entity in the database (Occupation, Country). This command object is going to be fed to a service facade like so: userServiceFacade.createUser(CreateUserCommand command); This facade will construct a user entity to be sent to the actual service. So I suppose that in the facade layer I will have to make several dao calls to map all the lookup properties of the User entity. Based on this what is the best strategy to validate that occupationId and countryId map to real entities? Where is the best place to perform this validation? There is the spring validator but I am not sure this is the best place for this, for one I am wary of this method as validation is tied to the web tier, but also that means I would need to make the dao calls in the validator for validation but I would need to call the dao's in the facade layer again when the command - entity translation occurs. Is there anything I can do better? Thanks.

    I am trying to make C# launch an application (in this case open office), and start sending that application keypresses such that it would appear as though someone is typing. So ideally, I would be able to send a running open office process the keypress for the letter "d", and open office would then type d on the paper. Can anyone give me direction as per how to go about this? I have tried to do the following: p = new Process(); p.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = true; p.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = false; p.StartInfo.FileName = processNames.executableName; p.Start(); p.StandardInput.Write("hello"); But that doesn't get me the desired effect - I don't see the text typed out in open office.

  • File won't save output to file, and prints out a string oddly C++ Linux

    I'm trying to make a password code, the user enters a password, then it will save the password to a file in /tmp/ and then it will output the password (For me so I can find bugs). I have included the "string" library, and I set the password type to string, but when I output it, it outputs like this: 0x7fffb55baac0password // <-- thats the password I entered It will output hex (I think), then the password I entered, and it won't save it to the file in /tmp/ I want it to (Or any file in /tmp/). For instance, I would like for THIS to happen: myfilearray[1]array[2]endl; Obviously, the "endl" just isn't allowed. Is there another way to do this? Edit---thanks for the quick responses guys! From a text file, I'm trying to store two strings from that file into arrays and then do the same with the next line (or until I desire, using a for loop) Using strings is important to me as it will make my future program a lot more flexible.

  • CMS or roll-yer-own?

    I have a database of software tools and I want to be able to have users rate and comment on the tools, and view the ratings and comments that other users have left. To lower the risk of spammers attacking the site, I would like to be able to restrict comment/rating permissions to those who are logged in. At present, the tools are in a list on a static html page as part of a website that is very "non-interactive"; other than the contact form, there is nowhere that users contribute content to the site. We maintain a wiki (of the standard mediawiki flavour) that users can contribute to, and we also have a Drupal installation as a news site. Does anyone have any experience of creating such a rating/commenting system, and whether it would be better to use Mediawiki or Drupal (or another free CMS?), or to try to create something myself? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
