• UITableViewController executes delate functions before network request finishes

  I'm having trouble trying to populate a UITableView with the results of a network request. It seems that my code is alright as it works perfectly when my network is speedy, however, when it's not, the function - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath- still executes, which results in a bad access error. I presume that this is because the array that the aforesaid function attempts to utilize has not been populated. • Documents/Images display fine in Simulator, but not on my device

  Hello. My application is running fine on the simulator, but not on the device. Basically, any documents from the web (PDF, Word, M4P videos) are working great on the simulator (and can be accessed from Safari on the iPhone). However, running on the iPhone, they don't display anything.   hi, i am building an application that imports JSON results and parses the objects to a table cell. Nothing fancy, but in my results, many of the terms/names are European with characters such as è or ú which come out as \u00E9 or \u00FA. I think these are ASCII ? or unicode? I would like to have the displayed string and image cross-dissolve when I change the string and image in code. Any way to do this? Do I need to stop using bindings? (And if I do, is there any trick to getting the string and the image to cross-dissolve when I change the value, or do I have to do something weird like fade it out and fade a new one back in?)

  I am getting some open/closed times as integers since midnight. For example: "1140" = 19:00 (or 7 pm if you will) or; "570" = 9:30 (or 9.30 am) I can easily get the time in European format, just by doing doing a simple calculation and formatting: [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%d:00", (T / 60)] However, this doesn't work for half hours, such as "570 minutes since midnight". Also, I run into problems if I want to include a bit of localization, because some people may prefer AM/PM times. Does NSDate include a method for easily implementing times using the above? Or can anyone tell me how I would at least convert a time like "570 minutes since midnight" to 9:30 properly. Right now it obviously won't write the :30 part. Thank you
