If I have Class1, which has some private field, for example private Field field1, and make getField1 () { return field1; } then I have some class with constructor public Class2 (Field field) { someMethod(field); } And then I call constructor of Class2 in Class3 like: Class2 cl = new Class2(instanceOfClass1.getField1()); And now the question: Am I working with field1 of instanceOfClass1 in someMethod(field)?

  • Drupal CCK Date: how to set datetime field's default value to a fix date?

    Hi, I have a CCK datetime field and would like to set its default value to 31 May 2011. When I go to the configuration of the field I can set the default value to Now, Blank or Relative. Relative is to be set by a PHP's strtotime argument. However, it fails when I set it to 31 May 2011 last day of May 2011 (that should normally work according to http://php.net/manual/en/function.strtotime.php) Do You have any idea how to set it to default to 31 May 2011?

    To draw a circle on map I have a center GLatLng (A) and a radius (r) in meters. Here's a diagram: ----------- --/ \-- -/ \- / \ / \ / r \ | *-------------* \ A / B \ / \ / -\ /- --\ /-- ----------- How to calculate the GLatLng at position B? Assuming that r is parallel to the equator. Getting the radius when A and B is given is trivial using the GLatLng.distanceFrom() method - but doing it the other way around not so. Seems that I need to do some heavier math.

    hi, I've 2 sets of thumbnails and in each set I'm displaying them one nearby each other in 4 columns using float:left. I would like to "merge" the 2 sets (but I cannot change the html code) because I want the thumbnails of the second set floating right after the last thumbnail of the first set. In other terms, if in the last row there are only 2 thumbnails and the last 2 columns are empty, the thumbnails of the second set should fill the empty columns of the last row of the first set.     I'm customizing work item templates in TFS 2008 through the PowerTools and I'm wondering is it possible to hide a field (or it's value) for certain users? For example, let's say I open TFS to my clients so they can submit feature requests.     Hi, Im building a web application that displays a xfdf document. When we are testing in adobe 5 and we can't stop adobe opening outside the webpage. The user clicks the report and it should open in the browser but instead it opens in adobe it appears to work in everything but adobe 5. We have previously done this with out any problems. Any ideas?
