The errormessage looks not nice. How can i show errotext in the dialog box? or catch an error message after an ajax call? At the moment the error message looks like: error Status: 'CDbException'. Error code: 500 When i googled i found a event of the delGridRow function called errorTextFormat. Is this the event where i'm looking for?   Hi, Each node have CCK-3-dev multigroup with 3 fields. Can I use one of fields as table header? Values of this field are taken from Taxonomy. With a simple recipe example, where food Z and Y are 2 nodes with recipes and each node has multigroup with ingredient name (milk, fish), amount (numbers) and unit (g, kg). Is there a way to create a table like this with views, I want to use views calc to calculate total amount of ingredient needed to prepare multiple recipes: Ingredient A Ingredient B Ingredient C Food Z 200 g 700 g 0 g Food Y 500 g 1000 g 50 g I don't even need units by number, but that would be good too. Anyways, how do I get this?

• Mysql Sub Select Query Optimization

  I'm running a query daily to compile stats - but it seems really inefficient. This is the Query: SELECT a.id, tstamp, label_id, (SELECT author_id FROM b WHERE b.tid = a.id ORDER BY b.tstamp DESC LIMIT 1) AS author_id FROM a, b WHERE (status = '2' OR status = '3') AND category != 6 AND a.id = b.tid AND (b.type = 'C' OR b.type = 'R') AND a.tstamp1 BETWEEN {$timestamp_start} AND {$timestamp_end} ORDER BY b.tstamp DESC LIMIT 500 This query seems to run really slow. Apologies for the crap naming - I've been asked to not reveal the actual table names. The reason there is a sub select is because the outer select gets one row from the table a and it gets a row from table b. But also need to know the latest author_id from table b as well, so I run a subselect to return that one. I don't want to run another select inside a php loop - as that is also inefficient. It works correctly - I just need to find a much faster way of getting this data set.

Thus, my question: Can one call a function on each member of a vector/matrix and return the result in a new vector/matrix all at once without using explicit loops?   Hi! I'm doing a chess game. In there, I want to move an element with effect and then append it to new div. Following is my code. //--> #p70 is just ablove #p80 //--> each square is 64px $('#p80').animate({bottom:'+=64px'},500); //--> move one square above $('#b70').append($('#p80')); //--> append the animated element to owner 'div' The problem is, it moves 2 square( equivalent to 128px) where I only did is 64px. Here is my page and if you click the white square just above the pawn, you'll see the problem. I've tried adding delay(1000) and even javascript setTimeout but nothing works :( Really appreciate your helps in advance!

  I recently upgraded a web server from IIS6 to IIS7 for a classic asp application and now experience a bizarre error. In the IIS6 set up there was a custom 500-100 page that functioned properly by capturing errors and delivering an email with error code, error source and error type values. That same structure was set up on the IIS7 machine but now the error emails contain no error information at all. They all come through values such as 'NO SPECIFIC ERROR CODE', 'NO SPECIFIC ERROR DESCRIPTION', 'NO SPECIFIC ERROR SOURCE'. Any one have some thoughts on why my custom error page cannot capture the error information?

  Is there any way to listen for keypress events in a parent page while the iframe has focus? Or, alternatively, is it possible to pull away the focus from the iframe? Please note, the iframe is not within the same domain, so I cannot modify it's contents via javascript. • HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() - what specific status codes cause an exception to be thrown?

  I've hunted around for some definitive documentation on this but haven't had much luck finding any. Basically - the question is - for which HTTP Status codes coming back from the server will HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() generate a WebException after doing something like say, a POST? Specifically - will it generate a WebException for anything other than status 200 OK? Or will it only generate a WebException for say, 400, 404, and 500 (for the sake of argument). I want to know since, the server I'm communicating with defines anything other than HTTP 200 OK coming back as an error condition - and the key is, can I rely on a WebException being generated for anything other than 200? (I've currently written my code so that it'll actually check the return status code everytime to ensure it's 200 OK and if it's not, take appropriate action - but it's alot of duplication between that, and the catch block for a WebException, and I'm hoping to clean it up...) Any relevant links to documentation would be most appreciated. Thanks!

In Firefox or Webkit-based browsers, though, my #content div first shrinks to 0px and then resizes to 300px. I'm using jQuery 1.4.2, Firefox 3.6 and Chrome 4.0.249.89. Any ideas?

  I'm making a version of Martian Chess in java with AI and so far I THINK my move searching is semi-working, it seems to work alright for some depths but if I use a depth of 3 it returns a move for the opposite side...now the game is a bit weird because when a piece crosses half of the board, it becomes property of the other player so I think this is part of the problem. I'd be really greatful if someone could look over my code and point out any errors you think are there! • MSXML2.XMLHTTP Request to validate entered URL in ASP Classic

  Hi guys. Thanks in advance for any help received. I want to allow our client to enter a URL into a text field which then checks whether the URL exists and works. There are 3 possible outcomes I want to check for: A status of 200 - OK, A status of 500 - Server Error, Or a status of 404 - page not found. When executing the following code in ASP classic I get a status code of 12007 when I should be getting 404. Is this because it can't find a webserver to return a code of 404? I'm using a timer to move these labels but the problem is that when i make the interval of this timer low (1-10 for example) the application takes very high percentage of CPU Usage, And when i make it higher(200 -500 ) the movement of the labels becomes intermittent or not smooth movement even that the user may not be able to read the news in Comfortable way.   I encounter this problem repeatedly, and haven't a clue what is causing it. I get an exception in the DataBind: "SelectedValue which is invalid because it does not exist in the list of items". Here are some important pieces of information: 1) I reload listOrgs periodically when the underlying data has changed. 2) The Organization.DTListAll call returns about 500 Int, String pairs. 3) There are no duplicate or null values in the returned data 4) After the first two lines below, listOrgs.Items.Count is 0, and the Selected Value is 0 5) The selected value when the DataBind operation executes is a value that is not in the set of ID values returned 6) All of the stuff I have found on line so far hasn't helped. 7) I am stumped! listOrgs.Items.Clear(); listOrgs.SelectedValue = "0"; listOrgs.DataSource = new Organization().DTListAll(SiteID); listOrgs.DataTextField = "OrganizationName"; listOrgs.DataValueField = "OrganizationID"; listOrgs.DataBind(); Bob Jones

• HTML is not being interpreted after JQuery's .ajax function

Once I have retrived an HTML string with the $.ajax function I put it into a div... the HTML is a simple message with a <b> tag, but it's not being interpreted by the browser, I mean, the <b> is not making the text bold. • How can I send a GET request containing a colon, to an ASP.NET MVC2 controller?

  This works fine: GET /mvc/Movies/TitleIncludes/Lara%20Croft When I submit a request that contains a colon, like this: GET /mvc/Movies/TitleIncludes/Lara%20Croft:%20Tomb ...it generates a 400 error. The error says ASP.NET detected invalid characters in the URL. If I try url-escaping, the request looks like this: GET /mvc/Movies/TitleIncludes/Lara%20Croft%3A%20Tomb ...and this also gives me a 400 error. If I replace the colon with a | : GET /mvc/Movies/TitleIncludes/Lara%20Croft|%20Tomb ..that was also rejeted as illegal, this time with a 500 error. The message: Illegal characters in path. URL-escaping that | results in the same error. I really, really don't want to use a querystring parameter. related: Sending URLs/paths to ASP.NET MVC controller actions
