  • Embedding binary video data in a swf file

    Is it possible to play video from data that has been embedded in a swf at compile time (with the [Embed] metatag)? The "Import Video-Embed" feature provided by Flash CS3 etc. is not acceptable because it has many severe limitations (including sound synchronization issues, a maximum number of frames, and other caveats) I'm interested in being able to bundle flv video data in a swf (along with other assets), which will be played by an AIR application. I don't think it can be done. Anyone disagree?

    I have an embedded IWebBrowser2 control using straight C++ (windowed, not windowless) and when someone hits the Tab key to go between fields in the browser, it jumps focus out of the web browser. Any ideas on what I need to implement or what I could be screwing up? Thanks!

As it includes image-upload feature, which works fine as well, I need to limit the size of the file before it's been uploaded. I wonder I couldn't find anyting satisfactory on web, it seems fckeditor's developers haven't ever thought about that. Has anyone workarounded it? Thanks

  • Are there any lightweight alternatives to gSOAP?

    I've tried using gSOAP for accessing a web service (e.g. using supplied WSDL to generate C stubs and then using them in an app). However, I've found that the generated .c and object files is quite big (several megabytes), which is a problem in embedded environment where I work. Do you know of any simpler SOAP libraries, or do I have to fall back to generic XML generators and parsers like ezXML?

  • Is there a workaround to the disappearing Perl/Tk text widget scrollbar for right justified content?

    I've come across a bug I believe in Perl/Tk 804.027 Text Widget (using Scrollable('ROText')). When I add a tag that selects all and apply the configuration change to justify to the right, the scrollbars do not show up. If I comment out the tagConfigure where I justify to the right, the scrollbars come back. Does anyone have a workaround or fix for being able to right justify a text widget's contents (includes text and embedded entry widgets) and still have functional horizontal scrollbars?

    I am trying to optimise the boot-up time of linux on an embedded device (not PC) Currently to profile the boot-up sequence, I have enabled the timing info on printk logs. Is this the most optimum way? If not, how do i profile the boot-up sequence (with timing) with minimum overhead? PS: I have a terminal (of the device) over a serial-connection & I use TeraTerm over windows-XP to access it.

All the samples I see are either using a json-embedded link or they use the photos.upload call with album ID (aid) which results in the user getting the image in his photo album(s). What I want to do is to upload an (UI)Image created (by the user) inside an iPhone app and upload to his/her wall. Is this possible? Sample code would be highly appreciated.

  • Usb Driver on 64bit Windows

    I have a pretty generic 64bit driver based on bulkusb.sys in WDK. It's been working for years with an embedded program, but now it is needed to work on Vista 64. From all the documentation I've tried to look through there doesn't seem to be anything affecting it, except compiling it for the 64bit environment, and yet when I compile it with the AMD64 build environment, I get "driver not intended for this platform" error message when it's trying to open the sys. What could be the solution for this?

    Hello, We have a series of products with built in web servers each of which has a login page, a customer wants to create a web portal in which they log into once, from there they can simply click on any of the devices (external websites) and it will automatically login to that site and redirect them to the page after the login screen. The portal is using ASP.NET MVC, the external devices are Windows CE based units running embedded web servers. Can find a lot on scraping, but not much on redirection after the event.     In my application, I want to stream videos shot on an iPhone, *.movie files, from a server running on a Mac desktop to an iPhone or iPad client. What are some possible open source servers that do this that are small enough to be shipped or embedded with a downloadable Mac app? There is a product StreamToMe by Matt Gallagher that does this. I noticed a lot of open source alternatives like ffmpeg, VideoLan, and the like but I not sure which one would be good for the Mac.
