  • Create javadoc with multiple src dirs

    - by Ed Marty
I have a Util package with source files in three seperate directories, defined like so: src/com/domain/util src/Standard/com/domain/util src/Extended/com/domain/util The package is built with the first set of files and either one of the second or third set, to create a total of two different implementations of the same interface. Now, I want to generate javadoc based on those files. How can I specify that? What I really want to do is javadoc com.domain.util -sourcepath ./src;./src/Standard to build the javadoc for the standard util package, and javadoc com.domain.util -sourcepath ./src;./src/Extended to build the javadoc for the extended util package. This doesn't work. The only way I've found so far to actually make it work is to merge the directory structure of the common classes and the Standard classes into another location and run with that for the standard javadoc, then do the same for the Extended package. Is there another way?

  • Ultimate Get/Post with Android Thread for Dummies

    - by Jayomat
Hi, I'm writing an app to check for the bus timetable's. Therefor I need to post some data to a html page, submit it, and parse the resulting page with htmlparser. Though it may be asked a lot, can some one help me identify if 1) this page does support post/get (I think it does) 2) which fields I need to use? 3) How to make the actual request? this is my code so far: String url = "http://busspur02.aseag.de/bs.exe?Cmd=RV&Karten=true&DatumT=30&DatumM=4&DatumJ=2010&ZeitH=&ZeitM=&Suchen=%28S%29uchen&GT0=&HT0=&GT1=&HT1="; String charset = "CP1252"; System.out.println("startFrom: "+start_from); System.out.println("goTo: "+destination); //String tag.v List<NameValuePair> params = new ArrayList<NameValuePair>(); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("HTO", start_from)); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("HT1", destination)); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("GTO", "Aachen")); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("GT1", "Aachen")); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("DatumT", day)); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("DatumM", month)); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("DatumJ", year)); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("ZeitH", hour)); params.add(new BasicNameValuePair("ZeitM", min)); UrlEncodedFormEntity query = new UrlEncodedFormEntity(params, charset); HttpPost post = new HttpPost(url); post.setEntity(query); InputStream response = new DefaultHttpClient().execute(post).getEntity().getContent(); // Now do your thing with the facebook response. String source = readText(response,"CP1252"); Log.d(TAG_AVV,response.toString()); System.out.println("STREAM "+source); One person also gave me a hint to use firebug to read what's going on at the page, but I don't really understand what to look for, or more precisely, how to use the provided information. I also find it confusing, for example, that when I enter the data by hand, the url says, for example, "....HTO=Kaiserplatz&...", but in Firebug, the same Kaiserplatz is connected to a different field, in this case: \<\td class="Start3" Kaiserplatz <\/td (I inserted \ to make it visible) The last line in my code prints the html page, but without having send a request.. it's printed as if there was no input at all... My app is almost done, I hope someone can help me out to finish it! thanks in advance

  • How to split a path platform independent?

    - by Janusz
    I'm using the following code to get an array with all sub directories from a given path. String[] subDirs = path.split(File.separator); I need the array to check if certain folders are at the right place in this path. This looked like a good solution until findBugs complains that File.separator is used as a regular expression. It seems that passing the windows file separator to a function that is building a regex from it is a bad idea because the backslash being an escape character. How can I split the path in a cross platform way without using File.separator? Or is code like this okay? String[] subDirs = path.split("/");

  • How to display a two column ListView in Android?

    - by Josemalive
    Hi, I have an android application that shows a grid view that shows: 1 2 3 4 GridView gridview=(GridView)findViewById(R.id.GridView_test); DataBaseHelper dbhelper=new DataBaseHelper(this); ArrayList<String> test=new ArrayList<String>(5); backlinksadapter.add("1"); backlinksadapter.add("2"); backlinksadapter.add("3"); backlinksadapter.add("4"); ArrayAdapter mAdapter=new ArrayAdapter<String>(this, android.R.layout.simple_list_item_1, test); gridview.setAdapter(mAdapter); By the moment is working, but i would like to show foreach line of the grid, 2 columns with the values of a 2 dimensional array (something like the GridView in ASP.Net - as datasource -). I would like to show: 1 | Person 1 2 | Person 2 3 | Person 3 4 | Person 4 Any idea?

  • cast across classloader?

    - by IttayD
How can I do this: class Foo { public static Foo get() throws Exception { ClassLoader cl = new URLClassLoader(new URL[]{"foo.jar"}, null); // Foo.class is in foo.jar return (Foo)cl.loadClass("Foo").newInstance(); // fails on class cast } } What I need is for the JVM to consider the Foo instance from cl as if it is an instance of Foo from the classloader of the executing code. I have seen these approaches, none of them good for me (the above example is a toy example): Load the class (or a separate interface) by a class loader that is a parent of both the calling code and created classloader Serialize and deserialize the object.

  • Spring Weblfow 2 - Double Submit

    - by John W.
Hello All, I am investigating a possible issue with double submits and I am looking at the possibilty of a double submit from a webflow execution. I have read many times that webflow will handle double submits, there are plenty references here. However I then came across I a forum response on the spring source forums contradicting what I read saying, SWF synchronizes on the conversation. Only one request will be processed at a time per conversation. Take note that if you're using snapshots, then it's possible repeatedly clicking on the submit button will generate a second request. I would recommend setting history to invalidate or discard in the transition from your view-state. We do have snapshots enabled but the book notes that using snapshots actually allows to solve the double submits. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks.

  • Reloading of persisted entity

    - by Udi
I'm using OpenJPA in my application as a JPA vendor. The question is theoretical or conceptual: Is there any way to tell an entity manager to load an entity from the DB rather than from it's cache? The problematic scenario: EM1.persist(Entity1) EM2.merge(Entity1) EM1.find(Entity1) <--- Entity1 is the cached version rather than the merged one.. Any elegant way to do it? I really don't want to call em.refresh(entity).

  • Creating multiple log files of different content with log4j

    - by Daniel
Is there a way to configure log4j so that it outputs different levels of logging to different appenders? I'm trying to set up multiple log files. The main log file would catch all INFO and above messages for all classes. (In development, it would catch all DEBUG and above messages, and TRACE for specific classes.) Then, I would like to have a separate log file. That log file would catch all DEBUG messages for a specific subset of classes, and ignore all messages for any other class. Is there a way to get what I'm after? Thanks, Dan

  • Postgresql 8.4 reading OID style BLOBs with Hibernate

    - by peter
I am getting this weird case when querying Postgres 8.4 for some records with Blobs (of type OIDs) with Hibernate. The query does return all right but when my code wants to read the content of the BLOB with the simple code below, it gets 0 bytes back public static byte[] readBlob(Blob blob) throws Exception { InputStream is = null; try { is = blob.getBinaryStream(); return org.apache.commons.io.IOUtils.toByteArray(is); } finally { if (is != null) try { is.close(); } catch(Exception e) {} } } Funny think is that I am getting this behavior only since I've started adding more then one such records to the table. The underlying JDBC library is type 3 (postgresq 8.4-701). Can someone give me a hint as to how to solve this issue? Thanks Peter

  • Why can't upload three files with FileUpload ?

    - by Valter Henrique
    Hi everyone, i'm trying to upload three images to my server, is working, but upload always the last file selected by the user, not the three selected. Here's my code: protected void doPost(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response){ boolean multipart = ServletFileUpload.isMultipartContent(request); if (multipart) { DiskFileItemFactory fileItemFactory = new DiskFileItemFactory(); fileItemFactory.setSizeThreshold(5 * 1024 * 1024); //5 MB fileItemFactory.setRepository(tmpDir); ServletFileUpload uploadHandler = new ServletFileUpload(fileItemFactory); try { List items = uploadHandler.parseRequest(request); Iterator itr = items.iterator(); while (itr.hasNext()) { FileItem item = (FileItem) itr.next(); File file = new File(dir, generateNewName()); item.write(file); } } catch (FileUploadException ex) { } catch (Exception ex) { } } } -- UPDATE: <html> <head> <title>Upload</title> </head> <body> <form action="Upload" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="file" name="file1" /> <br /> <input type="file" name="file2" /> <br /> <input type="file" name="file3" /> <br /> <input type="submit" value="Enviar" /> </form> </body> </html> Best regards, Valter Henrique.

  • Quartz.properties

    - by pandi-sus
I developed an EAR using Quartz API. I have put my quartz.properties file in the classpath(WEB-INF/classes in war). Added following lines to web.xml file <context-param> <param-name>config-file</param-name> <param-value>/WEB-INF/classes/quartz.properties</param-value> </context-param> But Quartz still loads the default properties file from the quartz.jar

  • custom button: properties change, button should be redrawn

    - by Rutger
Hi I'm developing an Android app. I have class derived from button to represent a special type of button. This special type has some properties (integers) and according to these one or more circles have to be drawn on top of the button. So I overrode the onDraw function, which looks the values up and accordingly draws the circles. But the class has a function to set new values for its properties. So new values are set but the changes are not reflected in the UI. It seems like the onDraw function is not called. When later I click the button or show a pop up message above my interface the onDraw function is called and the button is drawn correctly. So my question: when changing the properties how can I say that the button has to be redrawn? Thanks a lot!

  • Problem locating file in a classpath

    - by Gandalf StormCrow
I'm trying to read in file content, ex : public void myMethod(){ FileInputStream fstream = new FileInputStream(fileLocation); // Get the object of DataInputStream DataInputStream in = new DataInputStream(fstream); BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in)); String strLine; while ((strLine = br.readLine()) != null) { .... .... ..... end while end method And I have at the begining of the class body private String fileLocation; and at the end of a class I have a getter and setter for it. Now I'm trying inject this file location from spring inside bean from this class and I specify the init-method of this class. But I get error cannot find the specified file as if its not on a classpath but it is inside war file? I'm building the project with maven and I put file in src/main/resources This is the error I get when trying to read file : Error: src\main\resources\ids.txt (The system cannot find the path specified) That is when I tried this : FileInputStream fstream = new FileInputStream("src\\main\\resources\\ids.txt"); how to reference the properly from the classpath? EDIT When I edit my code according to @BalusC solution , here is how it looks but I still get null error : ClassLoader classLoader = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader(); InputStream input = classLoader.getResourceAsStream("src/main/resources/ids.txt"); // Get the object of DataInputStream BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(input)); String strLine; while ((strLine = br.readLine()) != null) { .... .... ..... end while end method

  • Spring MVC Best Practice Handling Unrecoverable Exceptions In Controller

    - by jboyd
When you have a controller that does logic with services and DAO's that may throw an unrecoverable exception, what is the best practice in dealing with those method calls? Currently an app I'm working on has very lengthy try catch methods that simply err.out exception messages, this doesn't seem very robust and I think that this code smells, is there any cookie cutter best practice for handling this in spring-mvc?

  • specifying classpath for built-in ant tasks

    - by carneades
I use the classpath attribute in custom Ant tasks to tell Ant where to find the external task jar, but how do I do the same for built-in tasks? In my case I'd like to make sure ant uses my copy of jsch.jar for the scp task, and not one that my already be installed on the system. Is there any way I can <scp> while guaranteeing it's using my jsch.jar?

  • Move million records from MEMORY table to MYISAM table.

    - by Prashant
Hi, I am looking for a fast way to move records from a MEMORY table to MYISAM table. MEMORY table has around 0.5 million records. Both tables have exactly the same structure (same number of columns, data types etc.). But the MYISAM table is indexed (B-TREE) on a few columns. There are around 25 columns most of which are unsigned integers. I have already tried using "INSERT INTO SELECT * FROM " query. But is there any faster way to do this? Appreciate your help. Prashant
