    In cleaning up an answer today, I noted the following: LTS desktops get updates for three years LTS servers get updates for five years An Ubuntu desktop is (essentially) a superset of server packages. So in the fourth and fifth year, if LTS Server gets Kernel updates*, are these also provided for LTS Desktop? What about other core-system stuff? I realise the Kernel is a little special because there is a -server variant but are updates pushed for -generic (et al) too?

    To all Users of the older release OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1: Patching support for 10.1.3.4.1 ends in September (1 year after 10.1.3.4.2 patchset release).After September, there will be no more one-off patches available for 10.1.3.4.1 or lower versions.Customers may apply 10.1.3.4.2 patchset so they can continue receiving one-off patches if situations arise. Note: 10.1.3.4.2 is a QA-tested patchset (collection of all bug fixes from 10.1.3.4.1 merged together) and is not an upgrade.

  • TPC-H Benchmarks on SQL Server 2014 with Columnstore

    Three TPC-H benchmark results were published in April of this year at SQL Server 2014 launch, where the new updateable columnstore feature was used. SQL Server 2012 had non-updateable columnstore that required the base table to exist in rowstore form. This was not used in the one published TPC-H benchmark result on SQL Server 2012, which includes two refresh stored procedures, one inserting rows, the second deleting rows. What I'd like to do is have a database containing the relevant information, which the course pages then reference, so we can just update the database rather than the HTML.
