• Key Navigation Not Working With SL3 Treeview

  I have a treeview in SL3 that is bound to a hierarchical list. Something has changed with regards to being able to navigate through the list using the up and down arrow keys. At one point, during the development of this application, I could start at the root process in the tree view, press the Enter key, and the root process would expand, showing all children processes. Some of the child processes are parent nodes for other processes. So, that functionality would work fine. Then, if I would navigate to a child node that is a parent, and press Enter, that node would expand. From that point, if I would navigate to a child node of the parent node, and then press the Up arrow key, it should select whatever item is directly above it, in this case, the corresponding parent node, but won't. It's like you can't navigate, using the UP Arrow key, to a child's parent, if you have selected the child. You can navigate down, just not UP, if the next item above it is a folder/parent node. I have no clue as to how this happened, as this functionality used to work fine, and now it doesn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Chris

• Adding database results to array

  Hi all, I am having a mental blank here and cannot for the life of me figure out a solution. My scenario is that I am programming in PHP and MySQL. I have a database table returning the results for a specific orderid. The query can return a maximum of 4 rows per order and a minimum of 1 row. Here is an image of how I want to return the results. I have all the orderdetails (Name, address) ect stored in a table named "orders". I have all the packages for that order stored in a table named "packages". What I need to do is using a loop I need to have access to each specific element of the database results (IE package1, itemstype1, package2, itemtype2) ect I am using a query like this to try and get hold of just the "number of items: $sql = "SELECT * FROM bookings_onetime_packages WHERE orderid = '".$orderid."' ORDER BY packageid DESC"; $total = $db-database_num_rows($db-database_query($sql)); $query = $db-database_query($sql); $noitems = ''; while($info = $db-database_fetch_assoc($query)){ $numberitems = $info['numberofitems']; for($i=0; $i $noitems .= $numberitems[$i]; } } print $noitems; I need to have access to each specific element because I them need to create fill out a pdf template using "fpdf". • Beginner SQL question: querying gold and silver tag badges in Stack Exchange Data Explorer

  I'm using the Stack Exchange Data Explorer to learn SQL, but I think the fundamentals of the question is applicable to other databases. I'm trying to query the Badges table, which according to Stexdex (that's what I'm going to call it from now on) has the following schema: Badges Id UserId Name Date This works well for badges like [Epic] and [Legendary] which have unique names, but the silver and gold tag-specific badges seems to be mixed in together by having the same exact name. GROUP BY Id and picking the min/max or first/second by the Date somehow? How can you write a query that lists all the silver badges first then all the gold badges next? Imagine also that the "real" query may be more complicated, i.e. not just listing by date. How would you write it so that it doesn't have too many repetition between the silver and gold subqueries? Is it perhaps more typical to do two totally separate queries instead? What is this idiom called? A row "partitioning" query to put them into "buckets" or something?

• Don't fire onfocus when selecting text?

  I'm writing a JavaScript chatting application, but I'm running into a minor problem. Here is the HTML structure: <div id="chat"> <div id="messages"></div> <textarea></textarea> </div> When the user clicks/focuses on the chat box, I want the textbox to be automatically focused. I have this onfocus handler on the chat box: chat.onfocus = function () { textarea.focus(); } This works, but the problem is that in Firefox, this makes it impossible to select text in the messages div, since when you try to click on it, the focus shifts to the textarea. How can I avoid this problem? (Semi-related issues: In Chrome, textarea.focus() doesn't seem to shift the keyboard focus to the textarea; it only highlights the box. IE8 does not seem to respond to the onfocus at all when clicking, even if it tabindex is set. Any idea why?)

• Websql to google maps markers

  I am busy with my web application for a school project. It has has two pages. The first page uploads the location(latitude and longitude), price, date and kind of fuel. It works and i saved it with websql.(see screenshot) Now i want to get everything out of the web database and put it as a marker on my google maps card. I have my own location already. But i dont know how to get everything from the database to the map as a marker. I'm using jquery mobile/html5/css/javascript only. • Help with MySQL query - Product orders report without duplicate shipping charges

  Hello, I have an issue creating a custom report for an e-commerce store running on osCommerce. The client wants the report to have the following columns: Date, Order ID, Product Class, Product Price, Product Tax, Shipping, Order Total The criteria for generating the report are Date Range and Product Class (Textbooks for example) The client wants the report to list each Textbook purchased on its own line. Orders with multiple textbooks would display a separate line for each Textbook in the order. I have it all working except for one part: the shipping amount is order-specific (based on the order total), not product-specific, and is displaying for each product. I need it to display only for the first product of each order, so it is not counted more than once. My cdr table has a field called duration, I need to divide that by 60 and multiply the result by a float number like 0.16. Is there a way to multiply this values using the template tags? If not, is there a good way to do it in my views? • OpenGl texture mapping blocking colours on FreeType?

  I'm using FreeType in order to allow fonts to be used in OpenGL. However, I'm having a problem where I cannot change the font colour whenever I do texture mapping. No matter what I select using glColor3f it will just come out white. • Circular dependecy in winforms app using Castle Windsor

  Hello, I was experimenting a little bit with Castle winforms in a winforms project. I wanted to register all my form dependencies with Castle windsor. This way I would have a single instance for all my forms. Now I have some problem though. I'm in a situation that form x has a dependency on form y and form y has a dependency on form x. Practical example maybe: form x is used to create an order, form y is the screen that has a list of customers. From form x there is a button to select a customer for the order. This will open form y where ou can search the customer. There is a button that lets you add the found customer to the order. It will call a method on form x and passes the selected customer object. I could do this with events. Raise an event in form y and listen for that in form x. But isn't there a way around the circular dependency in Castle Windsor, lazy registration or something? Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance

• Jquery AutoComplete Plugin calling

  When I use JQuery's autocomplete and hardcode the array values in the page it works wonderful; but what I need to do is obtain the array values from either a web service or from a public function inside a controller. I have tried various way and can't seem to make it work. The farthest I got is pulling the data in to a long string and when the auto complete results are provided it's the long string which matches, which I understand why. $("#TaskEmailNotificationList").autocomplete("http://localhost/BetterTaskList/Accounts/registeredUsersEmailList", { multiple: true, mustMatch: false, multipleSeparator: ";", autoFill: true }); has anyone encountered this? • How do I keep child elements together with parent jQuery sortable.

  I have a list of items like this... <ol> <li> <span></span> <img src="image.png" /> <p>Image Caption</p> </li> </ol> And I want to be able to sort the LI's but not the sub elements, they should just move with their parent. I am using the jQuery to do that... $('ol li').sortable({ 'cursor': 'move' }); And its working but not moving the whole lot just the element you clicked i.e. the <p>, <img> or <span> I can't figure out how to solve this so I looked about and found an option called 'items': '> li' which was recommended but upon using this nothing drags any more but using firebug + jquery plugin I can see there is a sortable on the <li> still. Not sure what to do, example here: http://clareshilland.unknowndomain.co.uk/ Press ctrl+l to login. Enter the login details: Username: clarePassword: demo Select 'edit' from under then 'image' portion of the menu. The sortables should be those polaroids. • Transaction Isolation Level of Serializable not working for me

  I have a website which is used by all branches of a store and what it does is that it records customer purchases into a table called myTransactions.myTransactions table has a column named SerialNumber.For each purchase i create a record in the transactions table and assign a serial to it.The stored procedure that does this calls a UDF function to get a new serialNumber before inserting the record.Like below : Create Procedure mytransaction_Insert as begin insert into myTransactions(column1,column2,column3,...SerialNumber) values( Value1 ,Value2,Value3,...., getTransactionNSerialNumber()) end Create function getTransactionNSerialNumber as begin RETURN isnull(SELECT TOP (1) SerialNumber FROM myTransactions READUNCOMMITTED ORDER BY SerialNumber DESC),0) + 1 end The website is being used by so many users in different stores at the same time and it is creating many duplicate serialNumbers(same SerialNumbers).So i added a Sql transaction with ReadCommitted level to the transaction and i still got duplicate transaction numbers.I changed it to SERIALIZABLE in order to lock the resources and i not only got duplicate transaction numbers(!!HOW!!) but i also got sporadic deadlocks between the same stored procedure calls.This is what i tried : (With ommissions of try catch blocks and rollbacks) Create Procedure mytransaction_Insert as begin SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL SERIALIZABLE BEGIN TRASNACTION ins insert into myTransactions(column1,column2,column3,...SerialNumber) values( Value1 ,Value2 , Value3, ...., getTransactionNSerialNumber()) COMMIT TRANSACTION ins SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION READCOMMITTED end I even copied the function that gets the serial number directly into the stored procedure instead of the UDF function call and still got duplicate serialNumbers.So,How can a stored procedure line create something Like the c# lock() {} block. By the way,i have to implement the transaction serial number using the same pattern and i can't change the serialNumber to any other identity field or whatever.And for some reasons i need to generate the serialNumber inside the databse and i can't move SerialNumber generation to application level. What happens if more than one user will have to use this cached object? Should I put the whole thing in a CriticalSection?!

• Versions. "Is not a working copy"

  A little background first: I'm a designer/developer and decided to use subversion for a personal project. I'm the only one working on this project. I've setup a Beanstalk account and installed Versions on Mac. Locally I have MySQL and PHP running through MAMP. What I want to do is develop locally and push code into Beanstalk. I'm not planning on deploying from Beanstalk to my live server at this moment. In Beanstalk I created a repository and imported all my code. I then installed Versions and added a bookmark to the Beanstalk repository. So far so good. Next I guess (this is a wild guess) I need to add a so called 'working copy bookmark' so that Versions can watch my local copy for changes and commit it to my Beanstalk repository. Problem: When I click 'Create working copy bookmark' in Versions and I select a folder on my computer I get the error: '/Applications/MAMP/www_mydomain' is not a working copy' I have no clue what that means and now I'm stuck. How can I tell Versions to keep track of changes of a local folder?

  I'm running windows 7 64-bit and iis7. I'm trying to setup a web application that was previously in iis6 on XP. It's giving me the error below. I've added the network service user to the Performance Monitor Users group to no avail. Access to the registry key 'Global' is denied. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the registry key 'Global' is denied. ASP.NET is not authorized to access the requested resource. Consider granting access rights to the resource to the ASP.NET request identity. ASP.NET has a base process identity (typically {MACHINE}\ASPNET on IIS 5 or Network Service on IIS 6) that is used if the application is not impersonating. If the application is impersonating via , the identity will be the anonymous user (typically IUSR_MACHINENAME) or the authenticated request user. To grant ASP.NET access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose "Properties" and select the Security tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate user or group. Highlight the ASP.NET account, and check the boxes for the desired access.

It was working fine for last 3 months but a week before it behaved unexpectedly. The problem is that it sends irrelevant results. The @String contains user alert keyword and it matches to the latest articles using Full text search. The normal execution time is 3 minutes but its execution time is 3 days (in problem). Now the current status is its working fine but we are unable to find any reason why it sent irrelevant results. Note: I am already removing noise words from user alert keyword. I am using SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition.

  Hi there, This is the first time I'm approaching an extremely high-volume situation. This is an ad server based on MySQL. However, the query that is used incorporates a lot of JOINs and is generally just slow. (This is Rails ActiveRecord, btw) sel = Ads.find(:all, :select = '*', :joins = "JOIN campaigns ON ads.campaign_id = campaigns.id JOIN users ON campaigns.user_id = users.id LEFT JOIN countries ON countries.campaign_id = campaigns.id LEFT JOIN keywords ON keywords.campaign_id = campaigns.id", :conditions = [flashstr + "keywords.word = ? AND ads.format = ? AND campaigns.cenabled = 1 AND (countries.country IS NULL OR countries.country = ?) AND ads.enabled = 1 AND campaigns.dailyenabled = 1 AND users.uenabled = 1", kw, format, viewer['country'][0]], :order = order, :limit = limit) My questions: Is there an alternative database like MySQL that has JOIN support, but is much faster? (I know there's Postgre, still evaluating it.) Otherwise, would firing up a MySQL instance, loading a local database into memory and re-loading that every 5 minutes help? Otherwise, is there any way I could switch this entire operation to Redis or Cassandra, and somehow change the JOIN behavior to match the (non-JOIN-able) nature of NoSQL? Thank you!

  Hi, I'm developing a user control called SearchBox, that will act as a replacer for ComboBox for multiple records, as the performance in ComboBox is low for this scenario, but I'm having a big binding problem. I have a base control with a DependencyProperty called SelectedItem, and my SearchControl shows that control so that the user can select the record. The SearchControl also has a DependencyProperty called SelectedItem on it, and it is being updated when the user selects something on the base control, but the UI, wich has the SearchControl, is not being updated. I used a null converter so that I could see if the property was updating, but it's not. • Window Installer custom action BEFORE any validation

  I wrote a Windows Installer custom action based on the tutorial found here: http://www.codeproject.com/kb/install/msicustomaction.aspx My custom action is killing a background process of a given name which could still be opened by the user. The reason is that I don't want users to see the warning that a given EXE is running and must be closed so that setup can continue. This works fine when the MSI passes through the UI sequence as the action is created in "InstallUISequence" table like in the tutorial. However, when the MSI is used silently (right-click and select repair or uninstall), then my custom action isn't executed of course. Where do I have to put my custom action so that it is executed immediately also when run silently? I tried adding it to "InstallExecuteSequence", but the 'app running' warning is still shown. I then tried lowering the sequence number of my custom action to 5, but this also didn't help. Note: I'm using Orca to modify an MSI generated from a Visual Studio setup project. I'm then using the transform file to apply it.

• Jsp page getting called from cache rather than getting loaded from server

  I am calling a jsp based on 2 parameters which is passed from jsp 1 in this way.Below i pass 2 parameters into 2.jsp and based on these 2 parameters data is displayed in 2.jsp.I have a loop in which i have a number of hrefs like the one i have described below.Each of these href passes a different set of value to 2.jsp. out.println("<a href=\"2.jsp?prId=" + prog.getId() + count + "\">" + prog.getName() + "</a>"); I retrieve these 2 parameters in 2.jsp using the following lines count_id = request.getParameter( "country_id" ); prog_id = Integer.parseInt(request.getParameter( "program_id" )); Based on these 2 parameters i show the corresponding data in 2.jsp Now i have a back button in 2.jsp and i call 1.jsp in 2.jsp using the following code <a href="1.jsp"><img src="/image/back.gif" border="0"></a> The problem is when i use the back button and go back to 1.jsp and select another href like the one i have described above i get the data related to the previous href selected. I guess the problem is when i request the page is loaded from cache rather than from the server. Please advice
