  • Handing over FaceBook SessionKey from iPhone to PHP

    Hi! Users authenticate normally on my iPhone app, and the permission for publish_stream is requested correctly. When the user want to post something on his wall, the text is transmitted to my backend and the backend posts it (with the transmitted session key) to the users facebook wall. The first post is always possible but at the second, the response is: "The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action" But I was already able to post some seconds ago.     Hi everyone! I know for @XmlTransient annotation, but sometimes I need this element and in other use cases I really have to prevent it from unmarshaling, because it contains base64 text. So I need to exclude it because performance problems. Is there any way to dynamicly exclude one element from unmarshaling with JAXB?

  • Is there a way to change the color of plots in jQuery flot without redrawing the whole chart?

    I have a chart that I'm drawing using flot. I want to change the colors of the data plots when someone hovers over text. Currently, I am doing this by redrawing the entire chart each time I need to highlight something. This is pretty slow (about 30 milliseconds for a simple chart, as much as 100 for a more complicated chart). Since all I want to do is change the color, is there a faster solution?

    I need to store authentication information and I rather not have the password in plain text: <property name="user" value="theUser"/> <property name="password" value="secret"/> Has anyone figured out a way to encrypt property values in Nant? I've looked in Nant and Nantcontrib docs but no mention of encryption. I am considering going the route of creating my own Nant Task. Any suggestions?

  • NSButton Aligned to the Right

    Hi, I want to have a check box, like the standard one (first the check box and on the right its title) but I want it to be aligned from the right. If I change the alignment to the right then only the text will move to the right but the button itself will still be at the left.. How would I achieve this without knowing the bounds of the NSButton?   • Insight into how things get printed onto the screen (cout,printf) and origin of really complex stuff

    I've always wondered this, and still haven't found the answer. Whenever we use "cout" or "printf" how exactly is that printed on the screen?. How does the text come out as it does...(probably quite a vague question here, ill work with whatever you give me.). So basically how are those functions made?..is it assembly?, if so where does that begin?. This brings on more questions like how on earth have they made openGl/directx functions.. break it down people break it down.:)

    Hi all, I am using cruise control which generated a particular output which is in text file format.So with the help of nant i am copying this file to another .xml of the same name in some other folder structure and i am using the file merge task which merges this output with my log files.I am also able to see this output merged in my webdashboard.Now i want this same output i.e .xml to be attached in may mail too.So is there anyway i can get this done??At present i dont get anything attached in my mail i.e no errors or warnings attached.   • EF4 Import/Lookup thousands of records - my performance stinks!

    I'm trying to setup something for a movie store website (using ASP.NET, EF4, SQL Server 2008), and in my scenario, I want to allow a "Member" store to import their catalog of movies stored in a text file containing ActorName, MovieTitle, and CatalogNumber as follows: Actor, Movie, CatalogNumber John Wayne, True Grit, 4577-12 (repeated for each record) This data will be used to lookup an actor and movie, and create a "MemberMovie" record, and my import speed is terrible if I import more than 100 or so records using these tables: Actor Table: Fields = {ID, Name, etc.} Movie Table: Fields = {ID, Title, ActorID, etc.} MemberMovie Table: Fields = {ID, CatalogNumber, MovieID, etc.} My methodology to import data into the MemberMovie table from a text file is as follows (after the file has been uploaded successfully): Create a context. For each line in the file, lookup the artist in the Actor table. For each Movie in the Artist table, lookup the matching title. If a matching Movie is found, add a new MemberMovie record to the context and call ctx.SaveChanges(). The performance of my implementation is terrible. My expectation is that this can be done with thousands of records in a few seconds (after the file has been uploaded), and I've got something that times out the browser. My question is this: What is the best approach for performing bulk lookups/inserts like this? Should I call SaveChanges only once rather than for each newly created MemberMovie? Would it be better to implement this using something like a stored procedure?   • Problem with Landscape and Portrait view in a TabBar Application

    I have an TabBar app that I would like to be in landscape and portrait. The issue is when I go to tab 2 make a selection from my table then select tab 1 and rotate the device, then select tab 2 again the content does not know that the device rotated and will not display my custom orientated content correctly. I am trying to write a priovate method that tells the view what orientation it is currently in. IN viewDidLoad I am assuming it is in portrait but in shouldAutoRotate I have it looking in the private method for the correct alignment of the content. Please Help!!     What is the best way to add a footnote to the bottom of a plot created with ggplot2?
