  • How does the Twitter rate limit API work with multiple accounts?

    I know there's a Rest API to check the Twitter rate limit. To summarize policy: 150 for an IP, and 150 per non-whitelisted account except for searches (which are IP only). However, my app is using Twython, authenticated, but the limit seems to decrease for both my accounts as I use it.   • Image improvment methods for OCR Engine

    Hello every one, We are working on a software that uses OPENOCR engine to do some OCR on given images, given we are using .NET framework , i was wondering if anyone knows about any good possible filters or sharpening methods that can be applied to the image prior to sending it to OCR engine. I have found for example a grayscaled image is much easier for OCR engine to read than a color images. are there any other techniques or image filttering that you guys know of , that can decrease the error margin by OCR engine ?   • GridLayout with single column

    Right now I'm trying to use a GridLayout with only a single column. However I'm having a problem where I don't want the object, in this case a JButton, to be stretched the entire width of the JPanel that it's on. Is there a way to decrease the width of the JButton so that it does not stretch the entire width of the JPanel. I've tried using setPreferredSize and setSize with no results. Is this just the way GridLayout works or is there something I'm missing?

    I'm creating a flip clock (clock where you always see in airport), but I can't seems to get the time to show at the correct timing. After the flip, then will see the number changing. But I want it to change before it flips. Currently I'm not sure whether is the animation problem, or isit I have to do something else on the script.     Hye there i have a have datasets where this data i have test it on weka with J48 classifier It give me an output = 87.2611% Total of instances = 157 Correctly Instances = 137 Incorrectly instance = 20 Then i have do a visualize classifier error on my data. However my result have been decrease to: New result = 85.4015% Correctly Instances = 117 Incorrectly instances = 20 Total of instances = 137 Is there any reason for that? Should my result become much better after i do the visualize classifier error?

  • Change texture opacity in OpenGL

    Hello! This is hopefully a simple question: I have an OpenGL texture and would like to be able to change its opacity, how do I do that? The texture already has an alpha channel and blending works fine, but I want to be able to decrease the opacity of the whole texture, to fade it into the background. I have fiddled with glBlendFunc, but with no luck – it seems that I would need something like GL_SRC_ALPHA_MINUS_CONSTANT, which is not available. I am working on iPhone, with OpenGL ES.

  • using Visual Studio 2010 and speech recognition on windows 7?

    I've never used Speech Recognition (SR) at all, but I'm hearing that the built-in SR capabilities of windows 7 is not half-bad. I'm thinking that it might be a real productivity booster with Visual Studio so I can decrease the use of the mouse (no Emacs comments please ;-). I don't envision not using the keyboard to type the actual code--but maybe that would work too? Does anyone have experience using SR with Visual Studio on Windows 7? If so, any tips on usage?

    i am writing a program to test WCF service performance in high concurrency circumstance. On client side, i start many threads to call a WCF service function which returns a long list of data object. On server side, in that function called by my client, i need to know the number of clients calling the function. For doing that, i set a counter variable. In the beginning of the function, i add the counter by 1, but how can i decrease it after the funtion has returned the result? int clientCount=0; public DataObject[] GetData() { Interlocked.Increment(ref clientCount); List<DataObject> result = MockDb.GetData(); return result.ToArray(); Interlocked.Decrement(ref clientCount); //can't run to here... } i have seen a way in c++. Create a new class named counter. In the constructor of the counter class, increase the variable. And decrease it in the destructor. In the function, make a counter object so that its constructor will be called. And after the function returns, its destructor will be called.
