  • Excel 2007 charts disappearing

    I have an Excel 2007 file with macros and VB (.xlsm) and one of the worksheets has charts. When I open the file those charts are shown. However when I CTRL+Scroll to zoom in the charts vanish. I need to be able to see the charts so I can move/resize them. Any help is appreciated. Running XP Pro with latest SP Over 3 GB memory Office 2007 Pro

  • How can I move windows in Windows with keyboard?

    I recently started using Linux and was floored by the ease with which windows can be moved and resized with simple keyboard combinations using Compiz. If I want to move a terminal to top-right of the screen a simple CTRL+ALT+Numpad9 does the trick for me, and it resizes the window at the same time. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. I would like to know if there is a way to do this in windows. Thanks.

  • E: Internal Error, Could not perform immediate configuration (2) on libattr1 ? in Ubuntu

    I am working with Ubuntu latest version. While installing via apt-get install i tried to abort that by pressing Ctrl+Z. It terminate successfully ;). But next time when i tried to use apt-get, i got some error "lock" and "temporally unavailable" something like that and **I unfortunately i delete the /var/lib/dkpg folder.** after that i cant install anything from apt-get, getting an error. E: Internal Error, Could not perform immediate configuration (2) on libattr1 so how can i solve this issue?

  • Grabbing all <a> tags in a specific div and displaying them

    So I'v got a small problem with my portfolio site (you can see it at here) When you click on a portfolio piece, a top section opens up to reveal the details (Title, year, role, description) as well as the photos. I'v been able to get each project to replace all the text data, but I can't seem to get the images to load into the thumbnails. I have been able to get the last image i'm looking for in all of the images on the site, but not display each photo for each project.   • jQuery - Need help stopping animation on click command.

    With a few of your help I was able to get the jquery I wanted to work flawlessly, except for one thing.. the animation doesn't stop when i click on the buttons. Scenario: I have an Image, and 3 buttons underneath labeled "1","2", and "3". The jquery will automate the click function every 4500ms and switch from 1 to 2, then 2 to 3 and continuously loop. However the problem is, if I manually click on a 1,2,3 button the animation does not stop.   • windows 7 BOOTMGR is missing (no win7 CD/usb)

    I've got an Asus Eee PC with Windows 7 starter pre-installed on it. Now, I don't have anything attached to it, no CD/USB Stick/Cables. However, I still get this error: BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart Since I do not have the USB stick with the windows 7 starter OS and don't want to switch this computer to ubuntu as it is not for me, I can't follow the instructions in this tutorial. Please help!

  • How to map PageDown and PageUp Keys to function normally

    When I open a document using vi or vim, I am unable to navigate the page using Page Up and Page Down keys. On pressing these keys, vim seems to behave in abnormal maaner, and changes the case of character beneath the cursor. It then takes few seconds to come back again in insert mode. Please let me know, how to map these keys, so that on pressing them I can scroll through pages smoothly just like Ctrl+ (f / b / u / d ).

If there is a text box on the page that I want to enter text into, how can I navigate to that field quickly without actually clicking on it with the mouse?   • Learn to use both sides of the keyboard

    I'd like to force myself to use the correct (right side or left side) Shift, Ctrl, and Alt keys depending on what letter I'm typing. For instance I'd like to use the right Shift key when typing 'A' and the left Shift key when typing 'P'. I find myself using only the left side a lot and I'm looking for a way to set the mappings on my machine so that it only responds to correct pairings. I'm running Fedora, but any Linux distro support would be an acceptable answer.

    I've got these problems: 1) sometimes winlogon.exe crashes at boot-up and my whole computer shuts off once i click "no" to visual-studio-2008 just-in-time-debugger window, takes about 30 secs until my harddrives starts up again, its really scary, i am afraid it is causing hardware malfunctions in long term. this has happened dozen of time now. 2) sometimes i leave the computer alone a while, i come back and i notice ctrl+alt+del doesnt work and winlogon.exe is using 100% of one of my 4 cores.

    I had a problem with a Win2k8 Domain Controller and had to restart it. It restarted with no issues and reached the "PRESS CTRL + DEL TO LOGON" screen. And so I did a usual logon with an administrative domain account and it started to apply group policy. It processed mapped drive and some other stuff before it reach printer policy and then it got stuck for more than an hour. What is the proper way to troubleshoot or abort applying group policy?

  • How can I prevent Windows Update from crashing my computer?

    I have Automatic Updates enabled and every now and then I'll get that little pop-up window that nags me to reboot to complete the update process. Usually, I ignore it and after 2 days my computer crashes. It crashes by freezing all the programs, including Windows Explorer, to the point that I can't even use CTRL-Alt-Delete (and my mouse lags). I'm pretty sure it's Windows Updates that is causing this. So, for now, I've disabled Windows Updates.

    My Windows 7 machine was powered down without logging out first. Now when booting the PC, Windows 7 does not completely start--instead it boots to an all-black screen with a mouse cursor that can be moved around. There are no icons, toolbars, etc. Ctrl+Alt+Del does not bring up the Task Manager. Booting to Safe Mode renders the same result.
