• kSOAP2 and SOAPAction on Android

  Hi everyone, I am trying to access a Webservice with kSOAP2 on an Android Phone. I think the connection is being established, but the server won't answer my request since I'm not providing a SOAP Action Header which seems to be required in SOAP Version 1.1(please correct me if I'm wrong here) which I have to use since the server does not support Version 1.2 . • TemplateBinding with Converter - what is wrong?

  I'm creating a game desk. I wanted to specify field size (one field is a square) as a attached property and with this data set value of ViewPort which would draw 2x2 matrix (and tile mode would do the rest of game desk). I'm quite at loss what is wrong because the binding doesn't work. • WCF Publish/Subscribe and using callbacks to send data to specific users

  Hello thanks for looking, I'm working on a project at the moment and have become a little stuck. I'm creating a client server app, which allows a client to subscribe to the server to have messages forwarded to it. The issue I'm having is that when the client subscribes I wish for them to only recieve updates that relate to them. The system basically passes messages from a SQL server DB which the server monitors. When a new message is recieved the server should only forward the message to the clients that it applys to, based on whos logged on the client machine. I've had a look and found code samples which sign up for messages to be broadcast across all clients who have subscribed, but not any that show how to identify individual clients and if messages apply to them. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.   I upgraded my MVC Application using MSChart to MVC 2 and have ended up with broken image links for the charts. • OpenGL/SharpGL - Points only on -near surface of Ortho projection?

  When you create points using three dimensions for each point and you use an Ortho projection to view the points, would there be a reason that only the points on the -near surface would appear? For example, if you use (the SharpGL method) gl.Ortho(0, width, height, 0, -10, 10), only the points at z=10 (because the near surface is at -10) actually show up. I'm currently using SharpGL - but I'm hoping the issue I'm having isn't with that particular implementation/library. EDIT: I'm adding the code below that demonstrates the issue. Note that this example requires SharpGL and is in fact a modification of a WPF sample project that comes with the current SharpGL source code (the original sample project is called TwoDSample). The project requires a MainWindow.xaml and a MainWindow.xaml.cs.   The problem I am facing is that when there is validation on a page and I am trying to display a model pop-up, the pop-up is not getting displayed. And by using fire-bug I have noticed that an error is being thrown. The button that is used to display the pop-up has cause validation set to false so I am stuck as to what is causing the error. I have created a sample page to isolate the problem that I am having, any help would be greatly appreciated. • How do I use Sketchflow sample data for a ListBoxItem Template at design time?

  I am using Expression Blend 4 and Visual Studio 2010 to create a Sketchflow prototype. I have a Sample Data collection and a ListBox that is bound to it. This displays as I would expect both at design time and at run time. However, the ListBoxItem template it just complex enough that I wanted to pull it out into its own XAML file. Even though the items still render as expected in the main ListBox where the template is used, when I open the template itself, all of the databound controls are empty. If I add a DataContext to the template, I can see and work with the populated objects while in the template, but then that local DataContext overrides the DataContext set on the listbox. A bit of code will illustrate. Start by creating a Sketchflow project (I am using Silverlight, but it should work the same for WPF), then add a project data source called SampleDataSource. Add a collection called ListData, with a single String property called Title.   Hi All I've created my own little c# compiler using the tutorial on MSDN, and it's not working properly. I get a few errors, then I fix them, then I get new, different errors, then I fix them, etc etc. The latest error is really confusing me. --------------------------- --------------------------- Line number: 0, Error number: CS0006, 'Metadata file 'System.Linq.dll' could not be found; --------------------------- OK --------------------------- I do not know what this means. • How to pass user-defined structs using boost mpi

  I am trying to send a user-defined structure named ABC using boost::mpi::send () call. The given struct contains a vector "data" whose size is determined at runtime. Objects of struct ABC are sent by master to slaves. But the slaves need to know the size of vector "data" so that the sufficient buffer is available on the slave to receive this data. I can work around it by sending the size first and initialize sufficient buffer on the slave before receiving the objects of struct ABC. But that defeats the whole purpose of using STL containers. Does anyone know of a better way to do handle this ? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Here is a sample code that describes the intent of my program. • Synchronize pasteboard between remote tmux session and local Mac OS pasteboard

  Setup: I use iTerm2 on MacOS to connect to a remote server. The remote server runs tmux, in which I open files and edit in vim sessions. Problem: I can't copy/paste between the remote tmux session and the local iTerm client. I can use iTerm 2's alt/option + mouse selection to select text, but this copies over multiple vim panes/tmux panes - bad. Is there any elegant solution to make selections in tmux panes synchronize between the remote pasteboard and the local (MacOS pasteboard)? I've seen reattach-to-user-namespace, but I'm pretty certain it doesn't do what I want.
