    I have two JQuery UI autocomplete input fields. When an option is selected in the first one, the value of the selection will be used as condition for a database query that will send the source data for the second autocomplete field. My problem is how do I send the value of the first selection to the PHP page via Post method?     Hi, if I put a custom class in session, then in an action method I get an instance of that class from session, and populate some fields, I noticed that when a different controller gets that class from session, those fields are populated. Even though after the first call didn't save the updated class back in session. is this typical behavior for session objects? I thought I had to use keyword 'static' on the class in session for this to happen thanks

  • Save the contents of manipulated div to a variable and pass to php file

    I have tried to use AJAX, but nothing I come up with seems to work correctly. I am creating a menu editor. I echo part of a file using php and manipulate it using javascript/jquery/ajax (I found the code for that here: http://www.prodevtips.com/2010/03/07/jquery-drag-and-drop-to-sort-tree/). Now I need to get the edited contents of the div (which has an unordered list in it) I am echoing and save it to a variable so I can write it to the file again. I couldn't get that resource's code to work so I'm trying to come up with another solution. If there is a code I can put into the $("#save").click(function(){ }); part of the javascript file, that would work, but the .post doesn't seem to want to work for me. If there is a way to initiate a php preg_match in an onclick, that would be the easiest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can I post a variable to the Location: /campaigns. And use the variable to display the message (or modal box)? and if so what would be the best way to do it?

    Hi all, In Visual Studio 2010, I have project A (asp.net application). Project A references project B (class library). Project B references assembly C (direct reference to a DLL). When building project A, only project A and project B binaries are present in the /bin directory of project A, but not the assembly C. Why is that? If project B depends on assembly C, why is assembly C not copied together to the output folder? "Copy local" is already set to "true" for assembly C. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Bitmap manipulation as a referenced object

    I am working with a Bitmap object that I add annotations or copyright material to the image and then return the modified bitmap. My problem is that the Bitmap won't hold the changes made to it as it moves along the chain. I am treating it as a reference type and would assume that as it gets passed to each class it would carry the changes made to it. I have verified that the code inside of the MarkImage() classes does function, but which ever one gets called last is the one that has changes.     Hi, I have this windows console app which takes a file, do some calculations, and then writes the output to a specified file. The input is specified in "app.exe -input fullfilename" format. I need to call this application from my C++ program, but I have a problem with spaces in paths to files. When I call the app directly from cmd.exe by typing (without specifying output file for clarity) "c:\first path\app.exe" -input "c:\second path\input.file" everything works as expected. But, when I try using cstdlib std::system() function, i.e. std::system(" \"c:\\first path\\app.exe\" -input \"c:\\second path\\input.file\" "); the console prints out that c:\first is not any valid command. It's probably common mistake and has simple solution, but I have been unable to find any. Thx for any help.

I need to attach the id of the business to the row of photos.
