• Need help debugging a huge chunk of JSON data...

  I have a huge chunk, so large that I can't manually edit the file and need to read it in and do regex operations to see what's wrong. Basically - my server is PHP 5.1.6 and I can't update it. • Prolog, check if term is power of 2

  i have written following code, which should work with my logic, but it does not. I should check if given term is power of two. For example s(s(s(nul))) should return false, s(s(s(s(nul))) should return true. substractWhileY(X,0,rezult). substractWhileY(s(X),Y,rezult):- Y > 0, number is 1, substractWhileY(X,Y - number, rezult). degreeOftwo(X):- substractWhileY(X,2,rezult), pagalba(X, 2, rezult). calculateAnswer(X, currentCounter, currentValue):- currentCounter is currentCounter * 2, substractWhileY(currentValue, currentCounter , rezult), rezult\= null, calculateAnswer(X, currentCounter , rezult). My idea was to check if given therm is degree of any two and if it is not than it is not the degree of two. With numbers it should work like this. For example i give number 8. First time it checks if 8 - 2 = 0. second time if 8 - 4 = 0. third time if 8 - 8 = 0. so the 8 id power of two. Maybe other solution would work better, so thanks for any help.

• Discussion - Allowing / blocking user access to pages / Client Side Validation (Client Side Only!) -

  TLDR Using plain HTML / Javascript (Client Side) I want to prevent viewing of certain pages. The user will have to type a username and password and depending on that they get access to different pages. Answers can NOT include server side whatsoever It does not matter if they can break it easily. There is no sensitive information etc. Also the target audience will not have access to internet OR probably know what a cookie is... At some point the user will have to type username / password.(I can define the cookie here) Currently I thought of using cookies to set a cookie for each page to say "true" / "false" but that would get messy with so many cookies. Or setting an array within a cookie for each page? I have div field "#Content" which as it looks encompasses all of my content on the page so blocking out content will be as simple as replacing it with ("sorry you don't have access") etc. For Example: $.cookie("Access","page1, page2, page3"{ expires: 1 }); I am looking for anyway to do this does not have to be with cookies. Would be nice to get a discussion of different ways this can be done. So the question is: What do YOU think would be a good way to go about doing this with client side validation? Also on another note discussion on how to make client side more secure or ways to do so are acceptable.

• IIS7 URL Rewriting: How not to drop HTTPS protocol from rewritten URL?

  I'm working on a website that's using IIS 7's URL rewriting feature to do a permanent redirect from example.com to www.example.com, as well as rewrites from similar domain names to the "main" one, such as from www.examples.com to www.example.com. This rewrite rule - shown below - has worked well for sometime now. However, we recently added HTTPS support and noticed that if users visit one of the URLs to be rewritten to www.example.com then HTTPS is dropped. For instance, if a user visits https://example.com they get redirected to http://www.example.com, whereas we would like them to be sent to https://www.example.com. • Fluent NHibernate no data being returned

  Hello, I have been successfully using NHibernate, but now I am trying to move to Fluent NHibernate. I have created all of my mapping files and set up my session manager to use a Fluent Configuration. I then run my application and it runs successfully, but no data is returned. There are no errors or any indication that there is a problem, but nothing runs. when using NHibernate, if I don't set my hbm xml files as an embedded resource, this same thing happens. This makes me wonder what I have to set my Map classes to. Right now, they are just set to Compile, and they are compiled into the dll, which I can see by disassembling it. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what may be happening here? • Form wont stay on top. How do I keep my excel form from hiding behind other windows after I browse

  I have a vb.net program that opens up an excel workbook and runs a macro ("Report") in that workbook when a button is clicked. //Workbook with macro and form xlWorkbook = xlApp.Workbooks.Open("W:Data\Excel Program.xls") //Macro: xlApp.Run("Report") //Macro opens form from workbook. I browse for my two .csv files //and then click a button to run code that creates my reports. //form closes, show the excel report after its created xlApp.Visible = True After I browse my first file and select it so that its location is displayed in my text box, the excel form then hides behind any open windows. I want this form to stay on top.   Here's the situation. I'm writing an automated test that walks the list of dependencies for a proc and determines if an acct has rights for all of the dependent objects. My code looks like this: exec sp_depends 'the_proc_name' -- run this query on the results of sp_depends: select case when exists ( select * from sys.database_permissions dp where grantee_principal_id=USER_ID('TheAccount') and major_id=object_id('dbo.theDependentObject') and minor_id=0 and state_desc = 'GRANT') then 'true' else 'false' end; It all seems to be working fine, but there's a hiccup when it encounters a function. I have one case where TheAccount doesn't have rights to a function (the query above returns false). However the proc that calls the function in question runs fine when running under TheAccount. So there's either something wrong with my test code or functions have special permission behavior in SQL-Server that I'm not aware of. Should I change the code to only search for 'DENY' instead of 'GRANT'? Do functions that are called in procs inherit the permissions of the calling proc except when the execute rights are explicitly denied? Does my code suck?

  When a user's email is inputted into the forgot password form and submitted, I am receiving an error saying login can't be blank. I looked around devise.en.yml for this error message, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Why am I receiving this error message and why is that class being added there? I've tried: Adding my own passwords controller and adding new routes for my custom controller. Same error Adding my own class and id to the form. This successfully changes the id and class of the form, but reverts back to class and id of new_user Thanks.

The sample data has two instances of duplicates for testing purposes. The commented line is an alternate, although I believe incorrect, attempt to compare the section with the string in the tempArray. What am I doing incorrectly? Also, all data is in capital letters, so the comparison is not a matter of lower to upper case.

  I have a label which shows the name of the window. I want to update the colour of the label on the IsActive property of the window using styles and triggers so that all the labels inheriting this style should exhibit the same property. Please can anyone suggest me how? • Pass object from webserver to client

  I developed a C# web application that calls a web-service which returns a base64 encoded array (PDF file). I then convert that array into a UCOMIStream object (I know it is obsolete, but the DLL that I am using requires it as a parameter). I use the following code to do the conversion which works perfectly. I can pass this object to the DLL so that I can print the PDF. This works great on the Webserver, but the requirement is to print it locally. • jQuery: Preventing an event from being attached more than once?

  Essentially, I have an element FOO that I want when clicked to attach a click event to a completely separate set of elements BAR, so that when they're clicked they can revert FOO to its previous content. I only want this event attached once. When FOO is clicked, its content is cached away in $back_up, and a trigger is added on the BAR set so that when clicked they can revert FOO back to its previous state. Is there a clever way to do this? Which is: www.chusmix.com/s?= (the content of the second field) The problem is that the content of the second field is part of the url I want to redirect, it's not simply always the same URL. • parsing python to csv

  I'm trying to download some game stats to do some analysis, only problem is each season the data their isn't 100% consistent. It gives me a csv file with data in the cells like this Column A B 'tempInCelsius': 17.0 'totalScore': 32 'tempInCelsius': 16.0 'totalScore': 28 What I want is the data like this tempInCelsius totalScore 17 32 16 28 As I mentioned up the top, the data isn't always consistent so if I define what fields to grab with spamwriter.writerow([profile['tempInCelsius'], profile['totalScore']]) then it will error out on certain data grabs. This is why I'm now trying the above method so it just grabs everything regardless of what data is there.

• Permuting output of a tree of closures

  This a conceptual question on how one would implement the following in Lisp (assuming Common Lisp in my case, but any dialect would work). The way I had it designed originally was to add a 'pause' parameter to the initial counting lambda such that when iterating you can still call it and receive the old cached value if passed ":pause t", in hopes of making the permutation slightly cleaner. Also, while the example above is a simple list of two identical closures, the list can be an arbitrarily-complicated tree (which can be permuted in depth-first order, and the resulting permutation set would have the shape of the tree.). I had this implemented, but my solution wasn't very clean and am trying to poll how others would approach the problem. Thanks in advance.
