Software development has been here from at most 1960's and I honestly can't imagine working with codebase without version control.   I'm having trouble getting the jquery ui 1.8 dialog to center I've tried leaving the options default, and setting position: 'center'. When the dialog displayed, the browser window gets scrolled down to the centre of the page, and the dialog is positioned at the bottom left of the window. This worked fine with jquery 1.3.2 and ui 1.7.2. Is there something new I need to do with this version?

  Is there a way to trace through function calls at the lowest levels of the Android system? Right now when I debug in Eclipse, it goes through the source files that are located inside the frameworks folder, but is it possible to go even lower? For example show what functions are being called from the libcore folder. I am also interested to find how it communicates with the linux kernel at the bottom of the layers. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

  I'm attempting to use the Ctrl+R, Ctrl+R command within Visual Studio 2008 to rename a variable. I get an error message at the bottom saying that "The key combination (Ctrl+R, Ctrl+R) is bound to command (&Rename...) which is not currently available." I am not running it or anything I can think of which might prohibit modifications of the file and the F2 command allows a rename to happen. Anyone know how to fix this?

  Hi I need to emulate a task pane by floating a modeless form over the Excel main window. The reason for this requirement is that I need to have taskpane features for my Excel 2003 add-in, but cannot use the document-centric model. Can anyone suggest what would be the best way to do this? The modeless form would need to detect the main window resize event and resize itself accordingly, and also need to always position itself at the bottom of the window (kind of like a docking pane).

When I run the page in Firefox it is working good but I run the page in IE8 it is not rendering toolkit controls and putting "//" characters on the bottom of page.This is happening with every control of toolkit.   I have 3 rectangles being rendered here. Let's say i wanted to move them all above the line yet keep their order, how would i go about that? I tried subtracting the Y and height rather than adding the Y it but as expected, the lower rectangle goes at the top, middle stays in the middle and top goes to the bottom before: after: So is there any simple solution to render them just above rather than having to change all values ?
