  While giving permissions to the 'defaultAppPool' user I am getting the message 'There is no such global user or group: DefaultAppPool.' Can anyone help me here! However, using command 'net localgroup "Performance Monitor Users" DefaultAppPool /add' I am able to resolve the error but i am facing this problem in Windows Server 2003/IIS 6.0. Here, I am always prompted as 'There is no such global user or group: DefaultAppPool.' I have also added the 'Network Service' but no avail.

  I am a couchDB newbie and am doing the examples in the O'Reilly CouchDB guide. I have a problem using a view to retrieve a document by key: curl http://127.0.0.1:5984/basic/_design/example/_view/by_date?key="2009/01/15 15:52:20" gives the reply: curl: (52) Empty reply from server but just retrieving all rows: curl http://127.0.0.1:5984/basic/_design/example/_view/by_date gives me 3 rows including the specific row I am looking for: {"id":"hello-world","key":"2009/01/15 15:52:20","value":"Hello World"} why doesn't the key query work? I am using CouchDB version 0.10.0 on Ubuntu 9.10

  I am currently using the Plistlib module to read Plist files but I am currently having an issue with it when it comes to Binary Plist files. I am wanting to read the data into a string to later to be analysed/printed etc. I am wondering if their is anyway of reading in a Binary Plist file without using the plutil function and converting the binary file into XML?   I am writing a simple multithreaded socketserver and I am wondering how best to handle incoming connections: create a new thread for each new connection. The number of concurrent threads would be limited and waiting connections limited by specifying a backlog add all incoming connections into a queue and have a pool of worker threads that process the queue I am inclined to go for option 2 because I really don't want to refuse any connections, even under high loads, but I am wondering if there are any considerations I should be aware of with accepting effectively unlimited connections?

• Cruise control merging problem

  Hi all, I am using cruise control which generated a particular output which is in text file format.So with the help of nant i am copying this file to another .xml of the same name in some other folder structure and i am using the file merge task which merges this output with my log files.I am also able to see this output merged in my webdashboard.Now i want this same output i.e .xml to be attached in may mail too.So is there anyway i can get this done??At present i dont get anything attached in my mail i.e no errors or warnings attached.   hi , i am having a site running in Joomla 1.5 i am trying to keep a url image to it near to url. I am using the JSN-Epic template where i am having a line as <link rel="shortcut icon" href="<?php echo $this->baseurl; ?>/images/favicon.ico" /> i have uploaded the favicon.ico to my templates/jsnepic/ but when i load the page the image appears when it starts loading and then disappears while loaded fully. How to resolve this??

  Hi, I am trying to remove text that is within parentheses (along with the parentheses themselves) but am having trouble with the scenario where there are parentheses within parentheses. This is the method I am using (in Ruby): sentence.gsub(/\(.*?\)/, "") and that works fine until I have a sentence such as: "This is (a test (string))" Then the above chokes. Anyone have any idea how to do this? I am completely stumped.

  Hi all What I am trying to achieve might be trivial, however I am loading a PNG mask which does not have a transparent background, but rather a black background, with the shape defined on top in white (the actual mask which needs to be applied). Apparently Flex expects me to provide a mask with a transparent background for it to work, or am I missing something? If that's the case, could I transform the bitmapData which I am loading so that it treats black color as transparent? thanks in advance.

  I am working on putting the Facebook "Like" iframe on a site, and I am trying to follow the example found at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like. I am putting in code similar to this: <meta property="og:image" content="http://ia.media-imdb.com/rock.jpg"/> But when I "Like" a page, it doesn't do anything with the image that I am aware of. Does anyone know what that data is supposed to do?
