• jQuery jFlow plugin. How can I have more than one on a single page?

  Hi, I'm using a very lovely and simple plugin called jFlow that gives me a basic content slider etc. However, I can see no documentation or help on how to get two (or more) on one page at the same time working seperately from one another. At the moment, if I set two up, they almost combine as one, despite having a different configuration from one another. Any help would be great, thanks. Michael.

But I need "table" property to specify indexes. What's going on here? I'm almost driven crazy!

• Android - Buffering Lag with VideoView

  I am using VideoView to display a video in my app. The problem is that, once the layout gets created there is lag of almost 10-30 seconds before which the video starts to play. I can see in LogCat that the video is buffering during the lag. Is there a way I can minimize this lag, or tell MediaPlayer to play the video sooner? Thanks Chris

  Hi, My Hash Table implementation has a function to resize the table when the load reaches about 70%. My Hash Table is implemented with separate chaining for collisions. Does it make sense that I should resize the hash table down at any point or should I just leave it like it is? Otherwise, if I increase the size (by almost double, actually I follow this: http://planetmath.org/encyclopedia/GoodHashTablePrimes.html) when the load is 70%, should I resize it down when the load gets 30% or below?

• PyLab - changing text color and background fill color of text box

  Hey all, I'm using PyLab to make some graphs in Python. I want to make a text box that is colored magenta with black text, but cannot get the text to be black. text(x, y, 'Summary', backgroundcolor = 'm', color = 'k') This gives me a magenta background and then text that is almost just as pink. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Many thanks!

• How do you embed XHTML into APT file when using Maven to generate a site?

  I am using maven to generate a website for a Java project, which uses APT "Almost Plain Text" as a wiki like markup. Maven takes this and turns it into XHTML. I already have a custom template/skin that I am using for the site, but the index page will have a couple of extra custom design elements that are beyond the capabilities of APT. So how can you add xhtml to the apt file so that it gets correctly embedded in the final output? Thanks.

  this may be more appropriate for math overflow, but nevertheless: Given 3d structure (for example molecule), what is a good approach/algorithm to find symmetry (rotational/reflection/inversion/etc.)? I came up with brute force naive algorithm, but it seems there should be better approach. • What is the difference between moveBackward: and moveLeft: when using NSResponder -interpretKeyEvent

  I'm implementing a custom text box using -interpretKeyEvents: and am trying to figure out what the difference is between moveBackward: vs moveLeft: and moveForward: vs moveRight:. moveLeft: is bound to the left arrow and moveBackward: is bound to Ctrl + B. The documentation describes them almost identically and they seem to behave identically in practice. I'm assuming this is just a holdover from Vim? Does anyone know what the real difference is?   I am using the TransitionManager class to pixel dissolve an image in an image gallery XML driven. • Turn class "Interfaceable"

  Hi folks, On my company system, we use a class to represent beans. It is just a holder of information using boost::variant and some serialization/deserialization stuff. It works well, but we have a problem: it is not over an interface, and since we use modularization through dlls, building an interface for it is getting very complicated, since it is used in almost every part of our app, and sadly interfaces (abstract classes ) on c++ have to be accessed through pointers, witch makes almost impossible to refactor the entire system. • UINavigationController UITableViewController Doesn't execute didSelectRowAtIndexPath after pop

  I have a UINavigationController that is handling UITableViewController instances. The problem I have is that after the "back" button is pushed and the previous view controller is slid into place, the tableview no longer triggers the didSelectRowAtIndexPath event method. Its almost as if its cached or something. Any tips?
