• XSLT Escape Character not working

  I am trying to use escape charaters in my text output, as i would like too surround the output in emailData tags. I am using <xsl:text>&#60;emailData&#62;</xsl:text> In the XSLT to esnure that this works however because i am using a tool called Cast Iron for some reason it is not converting the &#60; into < and just spits out &lt;emailData> You can see am image of it HERE that illustrates the output i am getting.   I'm trying to build my first website from scratch. I mocked up the design in Photoshop, and have been trying to convert into code for a few hours. But I haven't got far. In fact, I'm stuck on the header's navigation bar. It looks right, but it doesn't work. I'm using an unordered-inline list, and trying to link different rectangles in the header. I can't click on anything in the header, though. The code for the html and css files, and a mockup of the header, are below. Any advice on why the header bar isn't working would be much appreciated. • Incorrectly formatted html inconsistencies between DOM and what's displayed in firefox plugin

  I'm currently developing a firefox plugin. This plugin has to handle very crappy website that is really incorrectly formatted. I cannot modify these websites, so I have to handle them. But this fixed DOM is inconsistent with what is in the webpage. Thus, my plugin doesn't behave as expected. I'm really puzzled with that issue. The problem exists in both firefox 3.6 and firefox 4 (didn't tested firefox 5 yet). For example, reducing the meta, will fix the issue. Where does this discrepancy come from ? How can I handle it ? EDIT: With the answer I get, I think I should be a little more precise. I do know what firefow is doing when modifying the webpage in the second code snippet. The problem is the following one : « In the fixed DOM that I get into my plugin, the gorgeous link doesn't appear anywhere, but this link is actually visible on the webpage, and works. So the DOM I'm manipulating, and the DOM in the webpage are different - they are fixed in a different manner. » . So where does the difference come in the fixing behaviour, and how can I handle that, or, in other terms, how can I be aware, in my plugin, of the existance of the gorgeous link ?

  Centos 6 recognises and configures a HP LaserJet P3015dn printer connected via USB. This machine is being configured as a small group file/print server. I can print a test page, which is processed/printed correctly. The next time printing is attempted (say printing a second test page), the page is not printed and the printer is set to disabled. • jQuery CSS Custom Flyout Menu Styling Issue

  I'm close to nailing this flyout menu I have been working on, just have a couple of current pain points. I'm trying to get left/right padding on my submenu items, as you can see I am not quite there. Also when the first submenu is displayed, I want to create a bit of a gap between the first row of list items and the child. Below is my current code and a screen shot displaying what I want.   I've got a contact form with 3 fields and a textarea... I use jQuery to validate it and then php to send emails. This contact form works fine but, when I receive an email, From field isn't correct. I'd like to want that From field shows text typed in the Name field of the contact form. I am beating myself to think out what I am missing, but still can't make it work. Solved The simple solution to my complicated problem was that I had placed the config.ru in wrong place moved it to /etc/puppet/rack , it was in /etc/puppet/rack/public Well!!! :-/

  I believe this is a beginner's CSS question. I am utilizing the method described in http://www.xs4all.nl/~peterned/examples/csslayout1.html to fix a header to the top and a footer to the bottom. What I'd like to achieve now is two columns inside the content div. A left one of 200px and a right one that takes up the rest of the width. Unfortunately, I can't get the left and right divs to display correctly: they just don't grow vertically, and if I make the right div "width: 100%" it positions itself underneath the left one. What is the trick to make the left and right div take up all the space within the content div? The layout1.css is the original one. • Anchor bug on IE9, anchor hitbox overlapped

Simply adding a background image fixes the issue. The code is set up so it styles so the hit boxes for all the menu items are the same regardless if there's a link in them or not to facilitate an "onClick" drop down on those menu items without anchors. Refer to lines 81 - 86. Remove those lines (just a background image), and the hit box issue is seen in the menu items "NOT A LINK" as well. Further, the act of adding a background image fixes the hit box issue of "THIS IS A LINK" menu items. Simply add the following snippet to the CSS: .menu-navigation > li > span > a { background:url("../img/down.png") no-repeat right center; } Adding a background image, even if there is no actual image, is changing something with regards to the hit box... • My PHP login no longer works

  This page worked like a charm for years... enter the correspondng user id and password and you would be redirected to your directory. Now suddenly, all attempts to log in - valid or otherwise - result in the page remaining static... no message, no redirect, nothing. Nothing in the code has changed, it just plain doesn't work anymore. Could this be the result of some kind of change on the server side? Yeah, I know it's not super secure, but it was good enough for our purposes. I'm certainly open to better suggestions. I just need it to work... and keep working. Please be gentle!   Hi all, I'm using plupload to upload files to my server (http://www.plupload.com/index.php), however I wanted to know if there was any way of making the upload path variable. Basically I need to select the upload path folder first, then choose the files using plupload and then upload to the initially selected folder. I've tried a few different ways but I can't seem to pass along the variable folder path to the upload.php file. I'm using the flash version of plupload.   Another jquery issue... I have tried this several times using "class" and "id" elements and I can not get it right. I am hoping the brains on stackoverflow can help! The problem that I am having is when I open the page all elments are closed. When I click on one link all links open.
