  • Opengl: use a texture only to give alpha channel to a colored object

    I'm new at OpenGL and I can't find out how to do this: I want to render a letter and be able to change it's color, so I have a texture with the letter on a transparent background. I managed to render it using this code: glEnable(GL_BLEND) glBlendFunc(GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA) But that renders the letter in black, as it's on the texture. How can I render it with the color setted with glColor4f?

  • White dialog theme

    I've noticed some apps have a dialog with white background, including along the title border, as opposed to the default black. I know how to make the background white but the whiteness doesn't extend to the dialog's title border. This image: http://localhostr.com/files/25bb19/tether.png is an example of how I want the dialog to look. Anyone know I can do this? I mainly use AlertDialog.Builder to make my dialogs so ideally something I can easily to that.

  • How we can perform Action on Sequence UIButtons?

    As My Screen shot show that i am working on word matching game.In this game i assign my words to different UIButtons in Specific sequence on different loctions(my red arrow shows this sequence)and of rest UIButtons i assign a one of random character(A-Z).when i Click on any UIButtons its title will be assign to UILabel which is in Fornt of Current Section:i campare this UILabel text to below UILabels text which is in fornt of timer.when it match to any of my UILabels its will be deleted.i implement all this process already. But my problem is that which is show by black lines.if the player find the first word which is "DOG". he click the Two UIButtons in Sequence,but not press the Third one in Sequence.(as show by black line).so here i want that when player press the any UIButtons which is not in Sequence then remove the previous text(which is "DO") of UILabel and now the Text of UILabel is only "G" .     I have two colors that I need to linearly interpolate to create a duotone color based of another color's luminance value. Dim clr1 = Color.Black Dim clr2 = Color.FromArgb(224, 255, 165) Dim lum = Color.FromArgb(226, 189, 136).GetBrightness 'lum = 0.71 I know the result of this should be R=171, G=192, B=125, but I can't figure out how to do this. I've searched through SO quite a bit and all over Google, but have not discovered a way to produce this result. Can anyone help?

  • How to populate JList with data from another JList

    I have a MySQL database which contains data i would like to populate into a JList in my java program. I have two JList, one which is fill with Events Title and the second is to be fill with Guest Name. What i would like is when the user click on any of the Events Title, the second JList will show all the Guest Name that belong to that Event. I have already successfully populate the first JList with all the Events Title. What I'm having trouble with is when the user click on the Events Title, the Guests Name will show twice on the second JList. How can i make it to show only once? Here is what i got so far...     Hey there. I am very unfamiliar with nginx, as a forewarning, and also can't find any actual references on the regex system they use. So right now it's a black box to me. All I want to do is redirect a user trying to go to www.mydomain.com/mydirectory/X to www.myotherdomain.com/X . Seems like I should be using the rewrite command but the syntax of the regex is eluding me. Thanks in advance.
