  • jQuery monitoring form field created by AJAX query

    Preface: I am sure this is incredibly simple, but I have searched this site & the jQuery site and can't figure out the right search term to get an answer - please excuse my ignorance! I am adding additional form fields using jQuery's ajax function and need to then apply additional ajax functions to those fields but can't seem to get jQuery to monitor these on the fly form fields.     Hello everyone I hope add the function to monitor iphone used 3g/wifi band switch. I know I can do these in my app, but I wonder if there is way to monitor all band switch usage of iPhone? Requires no login/password to your carrier's site. Does not require Internet connection to get traffic usage statistics (works even in Airplane mode) because it gets information on traffic from the device, not a carrier; this means it won't cost you anything to view current traffic consumed, even while roaming in a location where traffic is very expensive. Allows the user to adjust consumed traffic for today or the current month to match traffic amounts reported by your carrier. Stats on the screen are updated every second. Measures traffic in real time with up to byte precision. Separates traffic into incoming and outgoing, Wi-Fi traffic and mobile Internet traffic.   • Monitoring pthread context switching

    I would like to monitor the the context switching behavior in a multi-threaded pthread application. In other RTOSes(Micro C OS) I have been able to register a context switch callback for each thread in the application, and then log (or toggle a gpio) and watch the thread context switching in real time. This was a valuable tool for debugging the real time behavior and interaction of the multiple threads. My current environment is embedded linux utilizing the pthread api. Is there a way to montior each of the context switches?

  • Detecting (on the server side) when a Flex client disconnects from BlazeDS destination

    Hi all, I'd like to know whether it's possible to easily detect (on the server side) when Flex clients disconnect from a BlazeDS destination please? My scenario is simply that I'd like to try and use this to figure out how long each of my clients are connected for each session. I need to be able to differentiate between clients as well (ie so not just counting the number of currently connected clients which I see in ds-console). Whilst I could program in a "I'm now logging out" process in my clients, I don't know whether this will fire if the client simply navigates away to another web page rather than going though said logout process. Can anyone suggest if there's an easy way to do this type of monitoring on the server side please. Many thanks, Alex

    I am aware of speed detection via gps, however as a background app, I am concerned about high power drain. I am looking to detect speed, say over 5mph, but it does not have to be accurate, say like a speedometer. Is there a low power way to detect if the phone is in motion, say by triangulation, or tracking tower strength and new/recently lost towers? I have an app design that is dependent on running in the background upon launch and knowing if the phone is in a car or not. Thanks!

    How do I Capture ASP.NET output and then store it as temp memory so that I can use them in an application to do comparison. example. there's this site which has ASP output. Sorry I do not have server access, what I can do is view the output.   • Monitoring process-level performance counters in Windows Perfmon

    I am sure everybody has bumped into this. As you scale a web server that uses multiple application pools, it's valuable to collect performance counters for each application pool 24x7. The only problem is - Perfmon links counters to application pools by process ID, so whenever an application pool recycles you have to remove the counters for the old process ID and add them for the new process ID. Since application pools recycle quite often (whenever you release a new version or patch the server), it's a major pain. I wonder if anybody has found a workaround for this? Perhaps a programmatic way to update Perfmon settings whenever an application pool starts up or some way to reference application pools by name instead of process ID? I'll appreciate any hints on this!

  • How can I find the program making a harmonica sound?

    A friend has a Windows XP SP3 machine that plays a harmonica sound for about 5 seconds throughout the day at what seems to be random intervals (every couple hours). My question is how can I find the program making this sound? Is there a Windows API hook for monitoring audio access? I've gone through and checked all the standard Windows sounds in the Control Panel and right now the theme is set to no sounds and I personally checked to make sure none of the events have a sound specified. I also checked the Task Scheduler to make sure there wasn't something scheduled to go off every couple hours. Any ideas on how to go about finding the bugger?

    hi i'd like to run an android emulator with disk image. so I tried this ./emulator -kernel kernel-qemu -system system.img -ramdisk ramdisk.img -initdata userdata.img -partition-size 512 then error massage is : if you really want to NOT run an AVD, consider using '-data ' to specify a data partition image file (I hope you know what you're doing). so I found userdata-qemu.img from /out/ but i can't find that file. someone help me
