• QMail Problem: Can't send email to one specific domain

  I'm running qmail as part of a Plesk installation on a Debian server. Everything works fine apart from any emails sent to @nandos.co.uk. I get no error messages they just end up stuck in the queue for eternity. I have no idea what is going on, because as far as I can tell this is the ONLY domain the server won't send emails to. Any ideas? TIA

• Get XMMS2 to call outside script on automatic playlist advance?

  Is there a way to get XMMS2 to call an outside script when it advances in a playlist - either automatically or via manual intervention (e.g. xmms2 next)? The goal is to have balloons pop up on my desktop to tell me what new song has started playing, and I really, really don't want to write a background daemon that polls 'xmms2 info' or 'xmms2 current' if there's a way to get it to issue the callback.   I changed the structure of my urls. The pages are indexed by google and have the following structure http://mypage.com/myfolder/page.apsx The new structure is http://mypage.com/page.aspx Now all urls that google knows are wrong. How can I tell google to reindex and that the structure has changed? Internally I redirect in ASP.NET when the url contains the myfolder by I want google to update the urls.

• OpenOffice - make autocorrect keep the original letter case

  I use OpenOffice to write in about 5 languages, using the US keyboard only. I therefore make extensive use of the autocorrect feature to add accents and the like automatically. The problem is that OpenOffice insists on ignoring the letter case I use, and instead it always uses that which I used when setting up the autocorrect. For example, now when I type, in French, "D'apres", it gets converted to "d’après" instead of "D’après". Is there a way to tell OpenOffice not to change the letter case?

• find command in Linux to locate pdf files

  My goal is to find all pdf files on a remote machine, so I resort to the useful command find. So I type find ~ *.pdf or find ~ "*.pdf" and I get nothing. I do the same on my machine and I get nothing. I do a regular search from the menu on my machine and I find quite a few pdf files. Would somebody please tell me what am I doing wrong?

  I run check disk pretty regularly on my hard drive, and lately it's been saying that I have some bad sectores (66, to be exact). I've run smartctl and HD Tune. Both tell me that I have bad sectors and the drive is in "pre-fail" stage. The drive is only a couple of years old. How worried should I be? My drive is a FUJITSU MHW2160BJ FFS G2

  I know I can assign different wallpaper for each monitor that is connected to my computer in Windows 8(by right clicking and selecting "set for monitor 1,2,etc"), but I don't know how to assign different wallpaper slideshow or different theme for each monitor. • OS X 10.6 change folder Finder displays as Desktop?

  Hi All, I know this is weird, but is there a .plist or key that I can edit to make the Finder use a different folder besides ~/Desktop for its Desktop folder? Why? Because I really like the BumpTop Desktop for Mac, but when I am not using it, I want my actual Finder Desktop to be of different contents. BumpTop only looks at ~/Desktop that I can tell.

  I am writing a script that uses MS KB 823732 to temporarily prevent users from plugging in new USB storage devices. This works fine, and the HKLM\...\Services\UsbStor registry key successfully blocks newly-connected devices from being accessed. Is there a WMI event that will tell me that a drive was connected, regardless of whether it was mounted? I tried querying for __InstanceCreationEvent but that is apparently raised only after the drive is mounted and made available, which doesn't fit my requirements.

  Looking to install php on a 08 box already holding iis/sql box. I've tried the webinstaller a couple times but the installer locks before completion or managing to echo any sort of error message.   Hi, I have two servers running Linux 2.6.9 kernel. When i telnet to server1 , the telnet will be disconnected only after 3 login failures. While, when i telnet to server2, telnet will be disconnected after the first login failure. I expect server2 to behave the same way as server1 when telnet is executed.   Can anyone tell me which BES IT policy option controls the radio being disabled when the device first starts up. I have been given an IT policy which when applied to a user causes the radio on the device to be off by default when it starts up, requiring the user to activate it every time (after entering his password). When the default policy is applied this does not happen, so it is an option in the IT policy that has caused it. Does anyone know which of the options this is?

• Ubuntu says FAT16, windows says NTF?

  I created a partition on USB harddisk in windows and it reports to be an NTFS partition. Yet in ubuntu 9.10 fdisk says it a FAT16 partition. If I mount with -t ntfs I see nothing, but if I mount without it I see all the files. Can anyone tell me whats going on here? Windows computer disk management definately says its NTFS, and a quick look at the raw data suggests it is NTFS, as I know the FAT16 very well.

• HAProxy redirect HTTPS to HTTP

  I'm using HAProxy as a load balancer and i'd like to redirect any traffic that comes in on 443 (HTTPS) to 80 (HTTP). My site doesn't support HTTPS at all and i'd rather just redirect users than cause any SSL warnings in browsers. All I can find is using the redirect location <to> syntax, but as far as I can tell that requires me to hard code the hostname. The load balancer receives connections for various hostnames so would like to keep it relative.

I was wondering if there is a way to change using command prompt.
