  • Cursor backed ExpandableListView data update

    Hi I'm implementing CRUD functionality using ExpandableListView. Wen I delete a parent data on screen refreshes automatically but it doesn't when I delete a child. I've solved this with: int categoryId = ExpandableListView.getPackedPositionGroup(info.packedPosition); getExpandableListView().collapseGroup(categoryId); getExpandableListView().expandGroup(categoryId); Is there any better way to this?   • Save simple data in Magento's DB w/o Model

    I'm looking to save some data in the Magento database without hassling with creating a new EAV object (or even a DB table if I can avoid it). Is there any place that you all know about that Magento will let you store serialized data? If it matters, the data is a serialized set of SKUs that I need to retrieve. I know that I could create a new model, or possibly even create an attribute as a flag on each product, but those are both really overkill for my purposes. Thanks, Joe

  • C# Image HttpHandler: Disable cookies in handler (YSlow / Google PageSpeed)

    Hi. I have a HttpHandler for resizing images, round corners, reflection etc etc. This i working OK. The problem i have is, that some data is stored in cookies, and the cookies are send to images, when they are shown. Is there any way to disable this globally (cookie-free requests) in web.config, or even in the HttpHandler itself?     I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the limitations and verbosity required to actually commit some business logic to stored procedures, using languages such as Transact-SQL or PL/SQL. I would love to convert some current databases to Oracle and take advantage of its support for Java stored procedures, but that option is not available at the moment. What alternatives would you recommend in the way of databases that support stored procedures in other languages?

    Hi , I have paypal sandbox test account. I want to create a 'buy Now' button. I am trying it with GWT. But its even not working with simple HTML form. It displays a 'Buy Now' button on HTML page and after clicking on it redirects to PayPal site. Where it ask to login to buy product but after that it goes on displying message: The email address or password you have entered does not match our records. Please try again. I am using buyer user to purchase product. I am pretty sure about the username and password.     I'm currently using Visual Studio 2008 to edit .js files with, and it has decent support but I want more... I like the VS syntax highlighting and auto-indentation features but additionally would like advanced features like: contextual info and help, collapsible JavaScript blocks, implicit symbol understanding for searching, refactoring and that kind of thing; also warnings and errors for the js code. Suggestions?

  • Redirect url to # (anchor)

    I have a site that I just converted to use anchor navigation.. hwww.site.com/shows is now www.site.com/#shows It loads the info from the /shows directory to a div and adds the hash tag to tell you where you are. The problem is, if you go to www.site.com/shows, the content is still there, but unstyled. How can I get it to redirect without going into an infinite loop of redirects? I'm sure I explained that terribly, hopefully you guys get it.

TADOQuery (and TADOTable and TADOStoredProc) are provided for compatibility. Use TADODataSet for SQL that returns result-sets and TADOCommand for SQL that does not. I am a clueless n00b - who is about to code a lot of ADO stuph. Is that correct? Which components should I use fop something which does/does not return a result?

  • iPhone scrollView won't scroll after keyboard is closed

    I was trying to implement a way to have the UITextField move up when the keyboard opened so that the user could see what they were typing but after implementing the code - it locks my scroll. The view will scroll when the user first gets to that view but after inputting text and closing the keyboard it locks the view.
