    Hello Everyone, I am using LINQ and I was wondering what is the best way to create an XDocument and then check to make sure that the XDocument actually exists, much like File.Exists?   • Cascading dropdownlist jQuery does not retain value on post back.

    I have two html select server control on an add data form page. the user selects a value in the first html select server control and then values are populated into the second html select server control with jquery. The problem is when a a user clicks the save button and the page posts back, the values are no longer in the drop down list populated by jQuery. The drop downlist is a html server control, shouldn't it retain the values on post-back?   • Android relative layout problem

    Hello! I just can't display the button at the bottom of the screen. I have 2 textviews and 2 edittexts set as gone, and they become visible when user clicks checkbox.     It could be a HTML question as well... I have a UIWebView with a page (from the hand made html string) loaded. For the url link on the page, if you tap on it, it has gray as background, which I think is the default behavior on iPhone. Is there a way to programmingly (thru javascript) change that to be other colors, say, blue? It doesn't seem to work for me anyhow.

    I am required to use custom fonts in my application. Problem: For ListViews that contain rows with Multi-Line TextViews having ellipsize property set to true, I can see some illegible characters after the ellipsis. Apparently Android pads the String(in TextView) with some characters unknown to my custom font. Single line TextView seem to work just fine. What is the best way to hide these characters or remove the padding? Thanks.

It works like a charm except when I apply a rotation to the movieclip. In my case the reflection is still visible but only a part of it. What am I doing wrong?     Hi, when I use XamlReader.Load() with an invalid XAML string, the resulting XAMLParseException is not caught although beeing in a try-catch-block: try { UIElement xamlCode = XamlReader.Load(XamlText) as UIElement; } catch (Exception ex) { ErrorText = ex.Message; } The code is called from the Tick-Event of a DispatcherTimer, but also in Events like MouseLeftButtonDown the exception is not caught resulting in a break in the Line where I call .Load(). Taking into the account that the document itself will never change, is it safe to query it from multiple threads?   • Webservice returns java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

    Hi, I am receiving the above message when making a request to a java webservice. We originally created a Java Console application and manually submitted an xml file. When running this as a Java Application the response is successfully created and displayed by using System.out.println. We are creating the web service by selecting the java file that contains the methods and choosing "create webservice" specifying the dynamic project that the webservice is to be created in and the methods to be exposed. This issue does not occur when running the console application. The build path for this includes the following contents of sun\jwsdp-2.0\jaxb\lib: jaxb-api.jar jsr173_1.0_api.jar jaxb-impl.jar I have added these to the lib folder in the WEB-INF file of the dynamic project. I am running the webservice in JBuilder 2008 R2 and using SOAPUI to submit the request - this points to the wsdl generated when creating the webservice. If anyone has any help or ideas on how to solve this could they please reply - thanks for taking the time to read this post!
