  • Interface Builder only allows one button to be "touchable"

    I'm making a clone of the classic game simon, the memory matching game. My (iPad) app will load fine, i tap start, the game screen loads, and only one of my four buttons will respond to touch commands. To troubleshoot, I tried creating a second unrelated nib and just populating it with four buttons not linked to anything. However, only one of those four buttons would respond to touch! There are no IBActions being called, nothing. Both the view itself, and all four buttons are touch enabled in the inspector...I'm stumped. I'm moreso asking if anyone has encountered anything simillar, as I'd rather not burden potential help with app-specific questions if it's avoidable. Thank you!

  • WPF - Listbox bound to collection acts as one item

    Hi, I have a listbox with the ItemsControl binding the ItemsSource to a readonly collection of strings. The ItemTemplate then declares the DataTemplate as a checkbox where its content is that of the name of the particular item in the collection and IsChecked bound to a property to determine whether or not the item is selected (it's just a listbox of checkboxes) This works fine with one exception - MouseOver the ListBox and it acts as if the collection of Strings is a single item; the whole box acts as if selected. This wouldn't be as much of a problem were it not for this also affecting the scrollbars where they won't get enabled - presumably because it considers the one item as being visible on the screen even though it in actual facts is x+ with only x-y showing on the screen. How do I get the listbox to act as if each individual string is its own item. I assume it acts this way because I declared a datatemplate in order to get a listbox of checkboxes?? Any help would be much appreciated!

    I have the following gifs on my linux system: $ find . -name *.gif ./gifs/02.gif17.gif ./gifs/fit_logo_en.gif ./gifs/halloween_eyes_63.gif ./gifs/importing-pcs.gif ./gifs/portal.gif ./gifs/Sunflower_as_gif_small.gif ./gifs/weird.gif ./gifs2/00p5dr69.gif ./gifs2/iss013e48788.gif ...and so on What I have written is a program that converts GIF files to BMP with the following interface: ./gif2bmp -i inputfile -o outputfile My question is, is it possible to write a one line command using xargs, awk, find etc. to run my program once for each one of these files? Or do I have to write a shell script with a loop?

  • How can one close html tags in vim quickly

    It's been a while since I've had to do any html-like code in vim, but recently I came across this again. Say I'm doing a simple bit of a html page: <html><head><title>This is a title</title></head></html> How do I write those closing tags for title, head and html down quickly? I feel like I'm missing some really simple way here that does not involve me going through writing them all down one by one. Of course I can use ^P to autocomplete the individual tag names but what gets me on my laptop keyboard is actually getting the brackets and slash right.

    I have a single xml document (data.xml), which I display as HTML using an XSLT document (transform.xsl) with the following line in data.xml. <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="transform.xsl"?> Suppose, however, I want to display this information in two different ways, one at http://www.domain.com/data.xml and one at http://www.domain.com/data2.xml. Both of these displays will use the same xml document but with different xsl's. Is there a way to do this without duplicating the xml file?

  • Maven - Selenium - Possible to run only one test

    Hi We are using JUnit - Selenium for our web tests. We use Maven to start them and build a surefire report. The test suite is pretty large and takes a while to run and sometimes single tests fail because the browser won't start. I want to be able run a SINGLE test using maven so I retest the tests that fail and update the report. I can use mvn test -Dtest=TESTCLASSNAME to run all the tests in one test class, but this is not good enough since it takes about 10 minutes to run all the tests in our most complicated test classes and it's very likely that some other test will fail (because the browser wont start) and this will mess up my report. I know I can run one test from Eclipse but that is not what I am looking for. Any help on this would be very appriciated

    I have a function that needs to perfom two operations, one which finishes fast and one which takes a long time to run. I want to be able to delegate the long running operation to a thread and I dont care when the thread finishes, but the threads needs to complete. I implemented this as shown below , but, my secondoperation never gets done as the function exits after the start() call.     I am pretty sure all of you are familiar with the concept of the Big4, and I have several stuffs to do print in each of the constructor, assignment, destructor, and copy constructor. The restriction is this: I CAN'T use more than one newline (e.g., ƒn or std::endl) in any method I can have a method called print, so I am guessing print is where I will put that precious one and only '\n', my problem is that how can the method print which prints different things on each of the element I want to print in each of the Big4? Any idea? Maybe overloading the Big4?

  • ssrs: one static row matrix, multiple columns will not filter out nulls

    Using a ssrs 2005 matrix client side. I want to list the multiple addresses of one person, hence one row, multiple columns. The Column field is =Fields!StreetName.Value. The data details field is =First(Fields!StreetPrefix.Value) & " " & First(Fields!StreetName.Value). The datasource has a row for each address; however, some rows will have nulls since the datasource is composed of outer joins. The column grouping works, but the first column is always empty, (first 2 rows of datasource are null) addresses appear only after the empty column. I want to filter out nulls on the matrix, but its like the filter is ignored. I have also tried having the dataset return an empty string for a null streetname and setting the filter to =Fields!StreetName.Value != ="" but no difference. What am I missing?

  • Reducing a normalized table to one value

    Hello, I'm sure this has been asked but I'm not quite sure how to properly search for this question, my apologies. I have two tables, Foo and Bar. For has one row per Food, bar has many rows per food matching descriptors. Foo name id Apple 1 Orange 2 Bar id description 1 Tasty 1 Ripe 2 Sweet etc (sorry for the somewhat contrived example). I'm trying to return a query where if, for each row in Foo, Bar contains a descriptor in ('Tasty', 'Juicy') return true ex: Output Apple True Orange False I had been solving this somewhat trivially with a case when I only had one item to match select Foo.name, case bar.description when 'Tasty' then True else 'False' end from Foo left join Bar on foo.id = bar.id where bar.description = 'Tasty' But with multiple items, I keep ending up with extra rows: Output Apple True Apple False etc etc Can someone point me in the right direction on how to think about this problem or what I should be doing?     Hello Guys! I have 2 tables: User and Picture. The Picture table has the key of the user. So basically each user can have multiple pictures, and each picture belongs to one user. Now, I am trying to make the following query: I want to select all the user info plus the total number of pictures that he has (even if it's 0). How can I do that? Probably it sounds quite simple, but I am trying and trying and can't seem to find the right query. The only thing I could select is this info, but only for users that have at least 1 picture, meaning that the Pictures table has at least one record for that key... But I also wanna consider the users that don't have any. Any idea? Thanks!

What I want to do is to map these two classes onto one table, but I absolutely do not need NHibernates' inheritance support to kick in.     I have this data structure: request ======= building_id lot_code building ======== building_id lot_id lot === lot_id lot_code The request table is missing the value for the building_id column and I want to fill it in from the other tables. So I've tried this: UPDATE request SET building_id = ( SELECT bu.building_id FROM building bu INNER JOIN lot lo ON bu.lot_id=lo.lot_id WHERE lo.lot_code = request.lot_code ); But I'm getting this error: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , , = or when the subquery is used as an expression. Is it due to wrong syntax? The data model allows more than one building per lot but actual data doesn't contain such cases so there should be at most one building_id per lot_code.

    I have a web application made for several groups of people not connected with each other. Instead of using one database for all of them, I'm thinking about making separate databases. This will improve the speed of the queries and make me free from checking to what group the user belongs. But since I'm working with LINQ to SQL, my classes are explicitly connected with the databases, so I will have to make separate DataContexts for all of the databases. So how can I solve this problem? Or should I just not bother and use one database only?

Given a name, I want to use the date in table 1 to query p1 and p2 from table two; the match should happen if date in table one is within two seconds of date in table two. How can you accomplish this using SQLAlchemy? I've tried (unsuccessfully) to use the between operator and with a clause like: td = datetime.timedelta(seconds=2) q = session.query(table1, table2).filter(table1.name=='my_name').\ filter(between(table1.date, table2.date - td, table2.date + td)) Any thoughts?

  • How to combine several movieclips into one scene?

    Hi everyone, I'm creating a website that allows kids to designs a tshirt. I will have four section, colour, graphic, text and print. I have created these sections on demos and they are all working. I now need to properly create them all on one movie clip. I'm having problems with it, when i select the chosen tshirt colour and move onto the graphic section the shirt is white again and hasnt came through blue. Its the same for every section, when I select a grahic they dont come through either etc when I click the next button it refreshs the page. Does anyone know how to create this kind of design on one movie clip using different frames and so that the colour etc transfers onto each new page? PLEASE HELP!!!
