• GNOME expand all folders?

  In Nautilus "list view" subfolders can be opened by clicking the "+" icon next to it. Would it possible to open all subfolders recursively in one click? I tried various combinations of ctrl/alt/shift-clicking but none seems to work.

• Windows 2008 R2 large file copy causes Hyper-V Manager to stop responding

  I'm using the EXPORT feature in Hyper-V to move a large Virtual Machine (VM) over a 1GB network from a Windows 2008 to a Windows 2008 R2 box (200GB) and its so intense that I get the following icon on my destination Hyper-V manager: Is this expected? Is there another way to get large file across the network and minimize this intense I/O effect? Anyones else ever seen that Do Not Enter sign? The other VMs are functional but slow, but I'm guessing that is expected.

• Whenever I hold alt/option and move my mouse, Mac OS X resizes my window... how do I stop that?

  I've been using Mac OS X for maybe 6 years now, and I have no idea what's causing this. Maybe someone else has this experience and can help me out. Symptom: while holding the alt/option key, if I move my mouse the current window starts resizing, anchored at the top left (it behaves exactly as if I had clicked-and-dragged the lower-right icon on the window). Anyone have an idea of what I may have installed that caused this? Or how to make it stop?

  I am running Windows 7 and have adjusted something which has caused all of my shortcuts and program icons to show the same program namely Adobe Reader and when I click on any of the icon or shortcuts they only open Adobe reader, I have reinstalled Windows 7 But this has made no change, I posted this question yesterday but apparently with not enough information I hope this is better and someone can help.

• Photoshop CS4 panels get "stuck" after being moved

If I try to move or reorganize any of the panels (e.g. Info, Swatches, Layers, etc.) by dragging a panel into a different location on the screen, the moved panel becomes "stuck" and cannot be moved again (although it can be minimized to an icon). Any suggestions for resolving?

• TIF opens via IE, but not within a page

However, when I embed it within a Page, I get a broken image icon. However, all browsers treat it as a download. Conversely, this image, which was made the same way, works fine when I embed it within a Page. Recently, when I minimize files in any application the files disappear - no icon that I can find, showing how to bring to a dominant window any of the minimized files. I search, can't find, have to re-boot app., and lose data. Not good.   I fell into a snare when i downloaded and install virtual box 4.0 on my ubuntu 10.4, when i started the virtualbox i tried i saw that my network icon on my desktop showed my red x showing iam disconnected and this happened shortily when i installed virtual box 4.0 I have searched through the web and found some people who have faced some problem. but the solution they gave them i tried but it coudn't work, of restarting,starting ,stoping the netowrk manager, i was even thinking of uninstalling this virutalbox but not netowrk connection truely i need your help

  I am using mobile dial up on ubuntu. However, SOMETIMES even though I am connected to the ISP, I do not have any entries in /etc/resolv.conf.   There is one big issue for me with Doc in OSX - it does not shows you if more than one window opened in application For example - I were browsing with firefox and some site opens a background window with some sounds - and I have no idea where it comes from - Dock does not tell you if some application opens more than one window.. Is there a way (or some application) that can add some mark to application icon in Dock if it has more than one window open?

• Samsung "Kies via Wifi" doesn't work, stuck on "Loading..."

  When I connect my Galaxy S2 to my laptop using "Kies via Wifi" it doesn't work. On my phone it tells me it is connected, and on the laptop I can see the device "GT-I9100" under connected devices, but I see no files or anything else. When I move the mouse icon over the "GT-I9100", it writes "Loading...". I've waited long enough but nothing happens. When I connect the phone using USB cable, it works perfectly fine.

  For example I have TightVNC Viewer pinned to taskbar, it does not allow a jumplist (pinning multiple items or storing recent items). However I have a couple of shortcuts to vncviewer.exe that take arguments. Is there a way to get these in a jumplist for the vncviewer taskbar icon anyway?   The only thing I miss from Vista on W7 is that, you can click the batery icon and select one of three power profiles without having to open the Energy option Window.
