• Variable in one query is getting into another query in view

  I have two foreach statements. The variable from one one is somehow getting into another and i'm not sure how to fix it. Here's my controller: // Categories Page Code function categories($id) { $this->load->model('Business_model'); $data['businessList'] = $this->Business_model->categoryPageList($id); $data['catList'] = $this->Business_model->categoryList(); $data['featured'] = $this->Business_model->frontPageList(); $data['user_id'] = $this->tank_auth->get_user_id(); $data['username'] = $this->tank_auth->get_username(); $data['page_title'] = 'Welcome To Jerome - Largest Ghost Town in America'; $data['page'] = 'category_view'; // pass the actual view to use as a parameter $this->load->view('container',$data); } What happens is categories will only show the businesses in a certain category. The businesses are pulled from the database using the categoryPageList($id) function. Instead, it's showing the row ID of the category table. so, if i'm viewing /site/categories/6 <?=$crow->id?> will show 6 when it should be showing 10 (the row ID of the only business in that category at this time. How can I fix this?

• Solaris: detect hotswap SATA disk insert

  What's the method used on Solaris to get the system to rescan for new disks that have been hot-plugged on a SATA controller? I've got an HP X1600 NAS which had 9 drives configred in a ZFS pool. I've added 3 disks, but the format command still only shows the original 9.   I'm having trouble routing a form to a custom action in Rails 3.   I've got a view for reports, that looks something like this: SELECT a.id, a.value1, a.value2, b.value1, /* (+50 more such columns)*/ FROM a JOIN b ON (b.id = a.b_id) JOIN c ON (c.id = b.c_id) LEFT JOIN d ON (d.id = b.d_id) LEFT JOIN e ON (e.id = d.e_id) /* (+10 more inner/left joins) */ It joins quite a few tables and returns lots of columns, but indexes are in place and performance is fine. Now I want to add another column to the result, showing comma-separated values ordered by value from table y outer joined via intersection table x if a.value3 IS NULL, else take a.value3 To comma-separate the grouped values I use Tom Kyte's stragg, could use COLLECT later. Pseudo-code for the SELECT would look like that: SELECT xx.id, COALESCE( a.value3, stragg( xx.val ) ) value3 FROM ( SELECT x.id, y.val FROM x WHERE x.a_id = a.id JOIN y ON ( y.id = x.y_id ) ORDER BY y.val ASC ) xx GROUP BY xx.id What is the best way to do it?   I have two CentOS 6 servers. I am trying to transfer files between them. Source server has 10GB/s NIC nd destination server has 1GB/s NIC. Regardless to the command used nor the protocol, the transfer speed is ~1 Mega byte per second. The goal is at least couple dozens MB per second. I have tried: rsync (also with various encryptions), scp, wget, aftp, nc. • Dinamically creating a member ID card as pdf using PHP?

  I need to code a PHP script that would let me generate a pdf file which displays a member ID card (something like a credit card used to identify oneself) at a certain resolution. Let me explain: I do have the basic blueprint of the card in png file format. The script needs to drop in a member's name and birth day along with a serial. So far, no problem - there are plenty of good working PHP librarys out there. My problem is to ensure that the resulting pdf (the generated image of the card, to be precise) meets a certain resolution (preferably 300dpi), so that printing it would look right. Any ideas?   I'm using the Details View control of VWD asp.net 2008 I have a users database table and one of the columns contain the "unique" user's profile ID, created by VWD from the automatic profiles table. From my table, I would like to select only the data pertaining to the logged in user. How do I get the current unique user profileID and then have that used for the query? What I have so far: In the configure data source option of the control I select the columns I would like to display, select the check box for "Return Only Unique IDs" and the WHERE option. In this new window I select the Column to the profile userID ... "=" and then assumed I should select Source: "Profile". Now what should the parameter properties or value be to select only the logged userID specific data of the table? Any help is appreciated. Thank You!

• Fragment not showing up and breaks other buttons on Layout

  I'm learning how to use Fragments, and trying to add a fragment tag_button.xml at runtime to a FrameLayout tagFragmentContainer deep within another layout, deepLayout.xml. I get no errors, but the fragment doesn't show up.   I have following two tables:- Table1 ------------- ID Name 1 A 2 B 3 C Table2 -------- ID Name 1 Z I need to insert data from Table1 to Table2 and I can use following sytax for the same:- INSERT INTO Table2(Id, Name) SELECT Id, Name FROM Table1 However, In my case duplicate Ids might exist in Table2 (In my case Its Just "1") and I dont want to copy that again as that would throw an error. I can write something like this:- IF NOT EXISTS(SELECT 1 FROM Table2 WHERE Id=1) INSERT INTO Table2 (Id, name) SELECT Id, name FROM Table1 ELSE INSERT INTO Table2 (Id, name) SELECT Id, name FROM Table1 WHERE Table1.Id<>1 Is there a better way to do this without using IF - ELSE? I want to avoid two INSERT INTO-SELECT statements based on some condition. Any help is appreciated.

  Hi all, In SharePoint 2010, This is rare error, I got when I deploy and activate Feature using VS2010. Deployment works file  but in activation process it get stuct and throws error. Error occurred in deployment step 'Activate Features': The field with Id {GUID} defined in feature {GUID} was found in the current site collection or in a subsite. When I googled I found very good solution  from Sandeep Snahta Blog. http://snahta.blogspot.hk/2011/10/error-in-activate-features-from-visual.html As suggested in this blog, there is two option to overcome this error; Close VS2010 and restart again. Is this change intentional?

  I have Micromax 3G modem, and i inserted it in the USB port, but it is not being detected by Ubuntu 12.04, that i'm using from a Live USB. I tried creating a mobile internet connection, however, eventhough i created it, there is no option to connect. I had previously used 11.10 Ubuntu, and it had automatically detected the datastick modem and asked me to create a connection.
