    Hi All, i need an equivalent or an alternative for this code in internet explorer using the filter method background: -moz-linear-gradient(center bottom , rgb(132, 133, 132) 0%, rgb(35, 35, 35) 49%, rgb(104, 104, 104) 100%) repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; the most important thing in the code is the points ( 0% - 49% - 100% ) i believe that the filter method doesn't have points and doesn't accpect more than two parms for the colors , Is there a way to do it in filter or a javascript script for that ?   • css - 2 child containers not sitting alongside each other

    I have a parent container, that has child containers within it. 2 child containers take up 60% width and 40% width respectively. They have no margin, and they have padding, but use box-sizing so this is included in the width. But for some reason they don't sit side by side. If I change one of them to 39% width then it looks fine. What am I doing wrong? Example can be seen at http://jsfiddle.net/Rcaet/

    I list products on my homepage and on a company details page. I use the exact same HTML, but for some reason the product appears different: The productname is "Artikel 1". Here the product is displayed correctly: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/ Notice how the green price area is right below the product. But here: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/bedrijven/76/mymedical the green price area is all the way at the bottom of the page. Why?

    Hi, I'm adding some <script> tags dynamically to the head element after page load. I understand the scripts are loaded asynchronously, but can I expect them to be parsed in the order they are added? I'm seeing the expected behaviour in Firefox, but not in Safari or Chrome. Looking at the document in Chrome developer tools and Firebug, both show the following - <html> <head> ... <script type="text/javascript" src="A.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="B.js"></script> </head> ... </html> However looking at the resource loading view, chrome seems to parse whichever is returned first from the server, while firebug always loads them in the order the script tags were added, even when B is returned first from the server. Should I expect Chrome/Safari to parse the files in the specified order? Using Chrome 5.0.375.29 beta on OS X 10.6.3

Here's the code for the allocation (I'm sure the error is clear for you) char **ptr = (char **) malloc( sizeof(char) * 8); for (i = 0; i < 3; i++) ptr[i] = (char *) malloc( sizeof(char) * 3); The crash happens when I reference this: ptr[3][0]; Unhandled exception at 0x0135144d in xxxx.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0xabababab.     I have a form which will include some optional questions that need to asked of the user. In my model it may look like pubic Dictionary<String, String> Questions { get; set; } where the key is the label and value is the text box. How can I create and populate controls for this? I'm new to ASP MVC, but it makes sense that something like this would be built in. Is there a built in way to do this, or do I have to implement it myself? It seems like there should be a helper for it, since you don't really want to put this kind of code in the view. I've tried Html.EditorFor(model => model.Questions); but it just spits out "[key, value]" to the view.

The label have number of characters so I can't set a fixed width on the label.     I need a function to change the appearance of some elements in my html page "on the fly", but I am not able to do. The problem is that I cannot use a command like document.write ('body {background-color: #cccccc;}'); because I need to make the changes effective when the page is already loaded, using a link like <a onmouseclick="Clicker(1)" href="#">clic</a> and I cannot use a command like document.body.style.background='#cccccc'; because I do not know if it can be applied to other not so easy cases, because I need to change the appearance of elements such as td.myclass or sibling elements such as th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]. How can I do it? Thanks!

    Im having a hard time putting in my head on how would i go at making flash read a xml file (this part I have it going smooth) and then fromt hat elements put on the stage a sprite or a movieclip that is interactive. To make it clear I want to load and display an image that when you press it it just creates another square beneath it with some text. I believe I have to interate the xml and then use each of the elements with a class and gettin that object onto the stage. Im using flash builder and as3 and im looking just for pointing in the rigth direction, of course I apreciate any more elaborate though some head clearing is just as good. Thank you.

  • Center an Image vertically and horizontally? css

    How do i vertically and horizontally center an image when i do not know the size of it? I asked this question and someone suggested using a table. This isnt the first time i heard a table can do it but i tried without luck. Searching SO only got me results when i do know the size of the image. How do i do this with a table? NOTE: Javascript/jquery is not preferred but if theres a solution with it i'll be open to it.
