  hi i got some problem i got this 3 line statement: Dim infoID As Integer = objCommand1.ExecuteScalar() Dim strSQL2 As String = "insert into feedBackHotel (infoID, feedBackView) values(" + infoID + ",'" + FeedBack + "')" Dim objCommand2 As New SqlCommand(strSQL2, conn) objCommand2.ExecuteNonQuery() the problem here is..the strSQL2 can capture the infoID from previous statement, but it didnt insert into the database. it will pop out this error "Conversion from string "insert into feedBackHotel (infoI" to type 'Double' is not valid." in both table related, use same data type (int) but for the feedBackHotel's infoID i allow it to be null..bcoz if i make it not null, it will show another error.. im using vb.net ..can anyone help?

  I am working on a program where each item can hold an array of items (i'm making a menu, which has a tree-like structure) currently i have the items as a list, instead of an array, but I don't feel like I'm using it to its full potential to simplify code. I chose a list over a standard array because the interface (.add, .remove, etc...) makes a lot of sense. I have code to search through the structure and return the path of the name (i.e. Item.subitem.subsubitem.subsubsubitem).   I am trying to test a controller method with the following code: it "should set an approved_at date and email the campaign's client" do @campaign = Campaign.create(valid_attributes) post :approve, id: @campaign.id.to_s @campaign.reload @campaign.approved_at.should_not be(nil) end However, when I run this test, I get the following error: Failure/Error: @campaign.reload ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound: Couldn't find Campaign without an ID When I run the analagous lines in the rails console, the reload works and the value is set as I need it to be. Why isn't reload working for me when I run the code in an rspec test?

  I have a strange error. I'm debugging an asp.net site and suddenly it stops. Visual Studio stays in debug mode and my web application stays on running just fine. I found this post on, but I don't think a background thread is causing the problem. There's even a try catch around the code where it usually stops debugging, but the catch is not triggered... Everytime I try it, it stops at a different place in the code.

  I am reading a book which says (if I am not getting it wrong) wrapping some code with @autoreleasepool statement enables the ARC. First of all is this the case ? My second concern is when I am doing some iOS example programs, although I enable ARC when creating a new project, I never see this directive being used anywhere (in the automatically generated code). Does this mean that ARC is not being used ? Any ideas/pointers is appreciated.

• xdebug profiler output strange results

  I'm using xdebug to profile some PHP code on Windows and using WinCacheGrind/Webgrind to analyse the output, but I'm getting some strange results. Specifically, the total cumulative time for a single method is greater than 100%! How is it possible that more time is spent executing this function's code and all the functions that it calls than the total time it took to execute the whole script? What am I missing here?
