  • Java error starting with "log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger" in ZuckerReports SugarC

    Greetings all. I apologise for posting this problem here, but I do so in desperation after receiving no response on the SugarCRM forums. Even if a reader is unfamiliar with ZuckerReports or SugarCRM some general advice on Java may be of use to me. I have installed ZuckerReports v1.12 in SugarCRM 5.5.1. When I attempt to run a report I get the following error message. cmdline: javaw -classpath The installation in which the report runs correctly is of the same version, and has the same version of the ZuckerReports module. The report previously ran correctly on both installations. I think that the only changes that have been made on the installation in which the report now does not work since the report was last successfully run are the additions of a few custom fields in the Contacts module. These changes should have nothing to do with ZuckerReports. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the ZuckerReports module, but the problem remains. A google search for the warnings given in the error message ie. * log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (net.sf.jasperreports.extensions.ExtensionsEnviron ment). * log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. Returns a few links (not specific to ZuckerReports) with tips similar to the following: * log4j.properties or log4j.xml needs to be on the classpath where log4j can find it. I cannot find a file with either of those names anywhere on my server, and yet the report can be run successfully on one of my SugarCRM installations. So I figure log4j must be being configured another way. Can anyone suggest a way to solve this problem? Or explain how I might discover how log4j is configured in ZuckerReports? Or explain how I might compare the working with the non-working installation in order to help find a solution? (I have tried searching for files containing "log4j" in both installations and comparing but all I can find are .jar files (nothing I can read with a text editor), and the .jar files found in each installation appear to be the same.)

    well I think I know what the problem is. I am just having a hard time debugging it. I am working with the directx api and I am trying to generate a plane along the x and z axis according to a book I have. The problem is when I am creating my indices.   • Warping Images using cvWarpPerspective Results in Some Parts of the images out of the viewable area

    Hi, I am trying to stich two images together. In order to do so I extracted sift features and find matches on the two images using this C implementation. http://web.engr.oregonstate.edu/~hess/index.html After that I found the homography matrix using the matched points. http://www.ics.forth.gr/~lourakis/homest/ But if I use this Homography Matrix in "cvWarpPerspective" function, some of the parts of the image goes out of the viewable area (negative corrdinates). To solve this I tried to calculate the bounding box first by piping the four corners of the image through Homography matrix. And move the initial image then warp it. But this caused the warping result to change. Is there any way for warping an image and keeping it in the viewable area? I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance...

  • "Not enough memory" error when running Peachtree Accounting 2010 with Logmein

    I setup one of my clients with a Logmein Pro account recently and everything has been running fine so far. Today, however, my client received an error when they were logged into their work computer remotely and tried to run a report from Peachtree Accounting 2010. The error states: "Not enough memory to run" and she can't print the report. I looked online and found another user that had this same problem with Peachtree 2010 when connected via Logmein here. The error doesn't happen if the user runs the report while sitting at her work computer, but it always happens when connected via Logmein. I know most of you will push it off as just a Logmein issue, which I'm sure it is - but I would like any constructive input from anyone else who may have had the same or similar problem.     Hi All, I've been a bit behind in my windows XP updates recently, and I have about 18 or so I need to roll out to all our users, according to WSUS. I'm trying it on a couple of test PCs, and so far i've had no luck. On each one, one update would install (and need a reboot), and nothing else since.     I have a question very similar to this one, but I want to continuously run perfmon, during reboots and throughout the day. Further, I'd like to generate a perfmon report every 10 mins or so. The original question tells me how to run perfmon when the server is restarted, but I don't know how to make perfmon continuously run while throwing periodic files. I've tried setting it as a scheduled task that needs to be done every 10 mins, but this is too sloppy, and when the scheduled task kicks another instance, the current perfmon report writer crashes, and I get a garbage report. I've also tried writing a sloppy batch script that would fire off the task at scheduled intervals, but this is the same problem as the scheduled task. I'm sure I'm just missing something silly, but I don't see it. Ideas? (If it helps, I'm running Windows 7 locally, and I'm trying to set up the processes for boxes running Windows 2008.)

    I'm trying to rotate and resize an image in Android. I've tried different values, but the image only gets more pixelized as I reduce the scale values, but remains that same size visually; whereas the goal I'm trying to achieve is to actually shrink it visually. I'm not sure what to do at this point, any help is appreciated.

  • SSRS Subscription Fails

    Our SSRS server is not executing a subscription correctly. (Only subscription we have btw) We created a subscription to export a report as an excel file to the file system. Tried running the job that gets generated, and this error happens 'EXECUTE AS LOGIN' failed for the requested login 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'. The step failed. It's not the most helpful in tracking down what exactly it was trying to do.     I wrote a program in c using MPI (Message Passing Inteface) that compute recursively the inverse of a lower triangular matrix. Every cpu sends 2 submatrices to other two cpus, they compute them and they give them back to the cpu caller. When the cpu caller has its submatrices it has to perform a matrix multiplication. In the recurrence equation the bottle neck is matrix multiplication. I implemented parallel multiplication with mpi in c but i'm not able to embed it into a function. Is it possible? thanks, Simone

    The high-level goal is to choose 10 stocks that have the lowest correlation among one another, out of a pool of 50, so that I can have a well-diversified portfolio. I have managed to write some VBA macro to download the past 3 years of daily price data from Yahoo finance, and then compute the 50x50 correlation matrix (using the Correl function), using the daily close as the data. What I have tried so far is just some local-maximum heuristic: - For the two stocks that have the highest correlation with each other, remove one of them. Between the two, remove the one that has the higher average correlation with all the other stocks. - When I remove a stock from the pool, I just delete the correponding row and column, to give a smaller matrix. - Repeat until I have just 10 stocks remaining (a 10x10 matrix). I was wondering if there is some algorithm that already solves such a problem and gives the optimum solution?

    Beyondtrust.com published a report, somewhat recently, claiming among other quite compelling things, "90% of Critical Microsoft Windows 7 Vulnerabilities are Mitigated by Eliminating Admin Rights" Other interesting 'facts' they provide say that these are also mitigated by NOT running as a local admin: 100% of Microsoft Office vulnerabilities reported in 2009 94% of Internet Explorer and 100% of IE 8 vulnerabilities reported in 2009 BUT, reading the first page or so of the report I saw this line: A vulnerability is considered mitigated by removing administrator rights if the following sentence is located in the Security Bulletin’s Mitigating Factors section, ?Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights. could be sounds pretty weak to me so and I wondered how valid all this really is. I'm NOT trying to say it's not safer to run without admin rights, I think that is well known. I just wonder if these stats are something you would use as ammo in an argument, or use to sell a change like that (removing users as local admins) to business side? Thoughts? Such a matrix is produced giving the command combn(n,k). What I would like to get is another matrix B with dimensions (n-k),choose(n,k), where each column B[,j] will contain the excluded n-k elements of A[,j].     On a server with several hundred user connections, when I open the SQL Server 2008 SP1 Management Studio report "Database - User Statistics", the result page shows the following results: Login Name: appUser Active Sessions: 243 Active Connections: 243 Open Transactions: 374 Still, when I open the report "Database - All Transactions" on the same DB, it doesn't show any connections ("Currently, there are no transactions running for [Database Name] Database"). What gives? Is this a bug in Management Studio? This is not the only report where this kind of behavious happens... Thanks all!

    How can I run hierarchical clustering on a correlation matrix in scipy/numpy? I have a matrix of 100 rows by 9 columns, and I'd like to hierarchically clustering by correlations of each entry across the 9 conditions. I'd like to use 1-pearson correlation as the distances for clustering. Assuming I have a numpy array "X" that contains the 100 x 9 matrix, how can I do this? I tried using hcluster, based on this example: Y=pdist(X, 'seuclidean') Z=linkage(Y, 'single') dendrogram(Z, color_threshold=0) however, pdist is not what I want since that's euclidean distance.     I'm working on visualizing a matrix in R (almost exactly like http://reference.wolfram.com/mathematica/ref/MatrixPlot.html), and I've been using image(<matrix>,axes=FALSE) to draw the picture. However, I noticed that with the y-axis turned off, the plot isn't centered--the space is still there for the axis ticks + label. I can finagle some centering with par(oma=c(0,0,0,2.5)) but this seems inefficient and error-prone (if my matrix were to change dimensions/become non-square). Is there a better way to force the graphic to center? The right hand margin is significantly smaller than the left.

  • Hierarchical animations in DirectX and handling seperate animations on the same mesh?

    I have a hierarchical animated model in DirectX which loads and animates based on the following DirectX sample: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee418677%28VS.85%29.aspx As good as the sample is it does not really go into some of the details of animation that I'd like. For example, if I have a mesh which has a running animation and a throwing animation as seperate animation sets how can I get the throwing animation to occur for bones above the hip and the walking animation to occur for bones underneath the hip? Also if I wanted to for example have the person lean left or right would I simply have to find the bone for the hip and multiplay a rotation matrix by its matrix? In this case I think the matrix is m_amxBoneOffsets?
