    in my cms i have index.php, where client must enter username and password. if they are correct, he'll moove to admin.php, where the cms is. but now hacker can enter to cms/admin.php, so my security now is awful. i know, that i can use $_SESSION variable. index.php - i can give some value to $_SESSION['error']: $_SESSION['error'] = TRUE, and in admin.php just verify it admin.php if($_SESSION['error'] == TRUE) { my script here... } else header("Location: index.php"); but i want to rich this effect without SESSION. could you give me an idea, how can i do it? thanks

  • Somewhat newb question about assy and the heap.

    Ultimately I am just trying to figure out how to dynamically allocate heap memory from within assembly. If I call Linux sbrk() from assembly code, can I use the address returned as I would use an address of a statically (ie in the .data section of my program listing) declared chunk of memory? I know Linux uses the hardware MMU if present, so I am not sure if what sbrk returns is a 'raw' pointer to real RAM, or is it a cooked pointer to RAM that may be modified by Linux's VM system? I read this: How are sbrk/brk implemented in Linux?. I suspect I can not use the return value from sbrk() without worry: the MMU fault on access-non-allocated-address must cause the VM to alter the real location in RAM being addressed. Thus assy, not linked against libc or what-have-you, would not know the address has changed. Does this make sense, or am I out to lunch?

  • Notepad++ Question

    I would like a hotkey to Save All in Notepad++ then switch to the browser and refresh the page. I have to do this thousands of times a day and doing the Save All hotkey, then Alt-Tab to the right window, then F5 to refresh again and again, there must be a better solution? I am open to switching editors if there is another that can do this. I have tried using run commands but the problem is although it allows you to make something like [firefox.exe "current file"], if you come down to wanting to open it at a web address like localhost because it needs to run server side, then you have to manually specify the other part of the string, like [chrome.exe "custom var(web address) / filename"] and it always opens a new tab, then creates lots of clutter. Also, if you are editing an include file then it will try to open that instead of the page you want to see when you use the run command, a refresh would be the only realistic method I can think of using.

    If you have ever used a new release of either Chrome or Safari, you know that when you add a new tab, the default screen is a grid like setup with your most favorite links sitting there waiting to be clicked on. What makes it even nicer is the graphical interface, with actual pictures of the websites they are representing. I am looking to do something similar, how is it done? Are they simply iframes? iframes set with css? If anyone has any knowledge about the actual implementation of this seemingly simple festure, please share!! Thanks

  • Newbie question attribute from associated table not showing up in index view

    Hi I know this is something simple I am doing wrong. I have three tables, installation, neighborhood, schools Installation: has_many :schools has_many :neighborhoods Neighborhood: has_many :installations has_many :schools Schools: belongs_to :installations belongs_to :neighborhoods I can't figure out how to show the name of the neighborhood the school is located in on the index view. I can get it to show on the show view once I have the school id. But on the index view I can't figure out what to put in the controller that will allow me to access the neighborhood name from the neighborhood_id that is in the School model. I am sure this is so easy and I am screwing up something stupid. HELP!

Given the following XML (sample): <hotels> <hotel> <name>Bla1</name> </hotel> <hotel> <name>Bla2</name> </hotel> </hotels> And then the XMLREADER in PHP which pulls up the values to my Database: $reader = new XMLReader(); $reader->open('hotels.xml'); while ($reader->read()) { if ($reader->name == "name") { $reader->read(); mysql_query("INSERT INTO MyHotels (hotelName) VALUES (\"$reader->value\")"); } } $reader->close(); The problem is that I've got a single empty row between each of the parsed nodes!!     Ok, so I will start by saying that I am new to all this stuff, and doing my best to work on this project. I have an employee object, that contains a supervisor field. When someone enters a search on my page, a datagrid displays employees whose name match the search. But, I need it to display all employees that report to them and a third tier of employees that report to the original employee's underlings. I only need three tiers. To make this easier, employees only come in 3 ranks, so if rank==3, that employee is not in charge of others. I imagine the best method of retrieving all these employees from my employee table would be something like from employee in context.employees where employee.name == search || employee.boss.name == search || employee.boss.boss.name == search But I am not sure how to make the orderby appear the way I want to. I need it to display in tiers. So, it will look like: Big Boss Boss underling underling Boss underling Boss Boss Big Boss Like I said, there might be an easier way to approach this whole issue, and if there is, I am all ears. Any advice you can give would be HIGHLY appreciated.

I edited a post of mine so I coul I overloaded << for a class, Score (defined in score.h), in score.cpp. ostream& operator<< (ostream & os, const Score & right) { os << right.getPoints() << " " << right.scoreGetName(); return os; } (getPoints fetches an int attribute, getName a string one) I get this compiling error for a test in main(), contained in main.cpp binary '<<' : no operator found which takes a right-hand operand of type 'Score' (or there is no acceptable conversion) How come the compiler doesn't 'recognize' that overload as valid? (includes are proper) Thanks for your time.
