    I just finished the Netbeans introduction to Hibernate tutorial ( http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/hibernate-webapp.html#01 ) and I am getting the following error: "This page calls for XML namespace declared with prefix br but no taglibrary exists" Now, I have seen a similar question somewhere else: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5430327 but the answer is not listed there. Or, if it is, then I am clearly missing it -- line one of my index.xhtml file reads "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml". It also does not explain why, when I reload localhost:8080, the message disappears.   • How to get MSBuild Exec to run a java program?

    I am trying to run a command line action in my Team Build (MSBuild). When I run it on the command line of the build machine it works fine. But when run in the build script I get a "exited with code 3". This is command that I am running: C:\Program Files\Wavelink\Avalanche\PackageBuilder.\jresdk\bin\java -classpath "WLUtil.jar;WLPackageBuilder.jar" com.wavelink.buildpkg.AvalanchePackageBuilder /build PackageName This command only works when run from the above directory (I have tried running it from c:\ with the full path at it fails).     Anyone got any experience with this? i tried asking in the automod section on phpbb.com but waited along time to no reply. Basicly i upload the files to the needed directory and go to www.mywebsite.com/install/index.php it then comes up with a screen saying Install etc, and when i click next it returns a 404 error saying page cannot be found, anyone had this ? or know how to sort it or what im doing wrong?

    I'm looking at the Android Camera code and when I try importing android.os.SystemProperties It cannot be found. here is the file I'm looking at. http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/packages/apps/Camera.git;a=blob;f=src/com/android/camera/VideoCamera.java;h=8effd3c7e2841eb1ccf0cfce52ca71085642d113;hb=refs/heads/eclair I created a new 2.1 project and tried importing this namespace again, but It still cannot be found. I checked developer.android.com and SystemProperties was not listed Did i miss something?

    Hey guys, new to rails, but I have found out how to create an app now through the shell but to create an app using rails appname would give me a url of http://url.com/appname/ but I want my app, to be within the route if you understand me, so it's just http://url.com/login/ or /signup or /play so on? So does anyone have any ideas how to do this, or why you can't or I shouldn't? Anything really, thanks guys!

    I simply want flowing text on the left, and a help box on the right. The help box should extend all the way to the bottom. If you take out the outer StackPanel below it works great. But for reasons of layout (I'm inserting UserControls dynamically) I need to have the wrapping StackPanel.   • Setting a Visual State from a data bound enum in WPF

    Hey all, I've got a scenario where I want to switch the visiblity of 4 different content controls. The visual states I have set opacity, and collapsed based on each given state (See code.) What I'd like to do is have the visual state bound to a property of my View Model of type Enum. I tried using DataStateBehavior, but it requires true/false, which doesn't work for me. So I tried DataStateSwitchBehavior, which seems to be totally broken for WPF4 from what I could tell. Is there a better way to be doing this? I'm really open to different approaches if need be, but I'd really like to keep this enum in the equation.   • TFS and shared projects in multiple solutions

    Our .NET team works on projects for our company that fall into distinct categories. Some are internal web apps, some are external (publicly facing) web apps, we also have internal Windows applications for our corporate office users, and Windows Forms apps for our retail locations (stores). Of course, because we hate code reuse, we have a ton of code that is shared among the different applications. Currently we're using SVN as our source control, and we've got our repository laid out like this: - = folder, | = Visual Studio Solution -SVN - Internet | Ourcompany.com | Oursecondcompany.com - Intranet | UniformOrdering website | MessageCenter website - Shared | ErrorLoggingModule | RegularExpressionGenerator | Anti-Xss | OrgChartModule etc... So.. The OurCompany.com solution in the Internet folder would have a website project, and it would also include the ErrorLoggingModule, RegularExpressionGenerator, and Anti-Xss projects from the shared directory. Similarly, our UniformOrdering website solution would have each of these projects included in the solution as well. We prefer to have a project reference to a .dll reference because, first of all, if we need to add or fix a function in the ErrorLoggingModule while working on the OurCompany.com website, it's right there. Also, this allows us to build each solution and see if changes to shared code break any other applications. This should work well on a build server as well if I'm correct. In SVN, there is no problem with this. SVN and Visual Studio aren't tied together in the way TFS's source control is. We never figured out how to work this type of structure in TFS when we were using it, because in TFS, the TFS project was always tied to a Visual Studio Solution. The Source Code repository was a child of the TFS Project, so if we wanted to do this, we had to duplicate the Shared code in each TFS project's source code repository. As my co-worker put it, this "breaks every known best practice about code reuse and simplicity". It was enough of a deal breaker for us that we switched to SVN. Now, however, we're faced with truly fixing our development processes, and the Application Lifecycle Management of TFS is pretty close to exactly what we want, and how we want to work. Our one sticking point is the shared code issue. We're evaluating other commercial and open source solutions, but since we're already paying for TFS with our MSDN Subscriptions, and TFS is pretty much exactly what we want, we'd REALLY like to find a way around this issue. Has anybody else faced this and come up with a solution? If you've seen an article or posting on this that you can share with me, that would help as well. As always, I'm open to answers like "You're looking at it all wrong, bonehead, HERE'S the way it SHOULD be done.

  • Android Packaging Problem: resources.ap_ does not exist

    I am trying to fix a problem in Eclipse for like 3 hours and I haven't made any progress. Tomorrow is the customer coming to look at my app, and I have no time left. This is really frustrating! This morning when I was coding and I wanted to run my app on my device Eclipse crashed all of a sudden. 'aapt.exe has stopped working' After this Eclipse wasn't starting anymore. It froze at the splash image. I looked on the internet and tried different solutions like going back to Java SE 6 update 20, changing .ini file etc. in the end reinstalling Eclipse did the job. Shortly after that the 'aapt.exe has stopped working' returned. I found a solution by changing my projects target. 1.5, 1.6, 2.2 doesn't matter, as long as it's different than the one before. Now I get the Error generating final archive: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\xxx\bin\resources.ap_ does not exist error. I tried clean but that doesn't work. Deleting and automatically regenarting R.java also didn't work. I ran the same code in Netbeans with the Android plugin and there it gives me the 'aapt.exe has stopped working' again :( Please guys, how can I fix this? Edit: I think I may have found the reason. I deleted it from the drawable folder, waited for an error message, and then added it back. The red x next to the foldername got away, but still nothing different...

Boxes being used: Web Box SQL Box SQL Test Box My Application: I've got aASP.NET Web Application, which references a class library that uses LINQ-to-SQL. Connection string set up properly in the class library. As per http://stackoverflow.com/questions/97594/login-failed-for-user-username-system-data-sqlclient-sqlexception-with-linq-i I also added this connection string to the Web Application. The connection string uses SQL credentials as so (in both web app and class library): <add name="Namespace.My.MySettings.ConnectionStringProduction" connectionString="Data Source=(SQL Test Box);Initial Catalog=(db name);Persist Security Info=True;User ID=ID;Password=Password" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" /> This connection confirmed as working via adding it to server explorer. This is the connection string my .dbml file is using. The problem: I get the following error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'DOMAIN\MACHINENAME$'. Now referencing this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1269706/the-error-login-failed-for-user-nt-authority-iusr-in-asp-net-and-sql-server-2 it says that's really the local network service and using any other non-domain name will not work. But I am confused because I've checked both SQL Box and SQL Test Box SQL Management Studio and both have NT AUTHORITY/NETWORK SERVICE under Security - Logins, at the database level, that isn't listed under Security - Users, but at the database level Security - Users I have the user displayed in the connection string. At NTFS level on web server, the permissions have NETWORK SERVICE has full control. The reason why I am confused is because I have many other web applications on my Web Server, that reference databases on both SQL Box and SQL Test Box, and they all work. But I cannot find a difference between them and my current application, other than I am using a class library. Will that matter? Checking NTFS permissions, setup of Security Logins at the server and databases levels, connection string and method of connecting (SQL Server credentials), and IIS application pool and other folder options, are all the same. Why do these applications work without adding the machinename$ to the permissions of either of my SQL boxes? But that is what the one link is telling me to do to fix this problem.

  • Get the rendered text from HTML (Delphi)

    I have some HTML and I need to extract the actual written text from the page. So far I have tried using a web browser and rendering the page, then going to the document property and grabbing the text. This works, but only where the browser is supported (IE com object). The problem is I want this to be able to run under wine also, so I need a solution that doesn't use IE COM. There must be a programatic way to do this that is reasonable.

  • Cannot run Android "Camera Preview" sample

    The sample I'm referring to is: CameraPreview. The program simply force closes upon start up. I've also tried other camera demos that have the same problem. I'm trying to run the samples on my Nexus One and the emulator with the same problem on both. I'm not even sure if the emulator should be able to run them or not.   • Keep IIS 7 URL Rewrite module from matching /ScriptResource.axd

    I have a website and I have installed URL Rewrite using Web Platform Installer. I wish to allow a user friendly URL like www.foo.com/123456 to go to www.foo.com/page.aspx?blah=123456. Using the User-friendly URL template accomplishes this except that the created rule also matches all of the /scriptresource.axd?blahblah created by ASP.NET which of course breaks most functionality. My initial attempts to exclude the script resource files have failed. The regex generated by the tool is ^([^/]+)/?$
