    I am running multiple applications with a single Codeigniter system/ folder using the recommended way on the Codeigniter wiki. Each application runs fine and I can link between apps using absolute URLs. Is there some way I can use or extend the URL helper class (functions like anchor(), redirect()... etc.) to generate links to controllers across applications. I would like to avoid absolute URLs Thanks!

Is it in the root (ie "src") or within a package...     Hi, I'm using godaddy shared hosting, with IIS7, Integrated mode, and published up a bog standard MVC2 app to dev.lazygekko.com created with Visual Web Developer 2010. It all works, however when any of the links are clicked, they point to dev.lazygekko.com/dev/..., dev being the folder it is pointing at. Can anyone shed some light on what I may be doing wrong?     I recently upgraded to PHP 5.3 and since then I get (sporadic) error messages which indicate Apache (or may be the cleaner of the session files) has no permissions to the folder where the sessions are stored. This happens randomly and can't be reproduced with exact steps, which led me to guess it is the session cleaner. Any one has experience with such errors?

    When you share a directory using samba, you can do this system-wide by editing the /etc/samba/smb.conf file (the advanced way) or by right-clicking a directory using Nautilus and selecting 'Sharing Options' (the easy way). However, while I can see what directories are shared system-wide by looking at /etc/samba/smb.conf, if I share directories using Nautilus, I do not know what directories that I (or other users) have shared. So how do I list all the directories that have been shared by samba using Nautilus Sharing Options for all the users on a system?

  • Command line mode only -- successful login only brings me back to login screen

    whenever I log in the screen goes black, I see a glimpse of terminal-esque text, and then it brings me back to the log in screen (Ubuntu 12.04). I can enter and log in via the command line. The guest account works find. I think this happened because I edited some Xorg related file trying to make an external monitor work with my laptop. I copy pasted from a forum post so I dont recall the file or what i put in the file. Can't find the forum post again and my bash history wasn't recorded from that session. I tried reinstalling Xorg and ubuntu-desktop, nvidia, resetting any configs I could find... I'm really at a loss of what to do.     Android Development Query Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me, i am trying to save an image (jpg or png) from the res/raw or assets folder to the SD card location (/sdcard/DCIM/). I have been following a tutorial which can save an image from a URL to the SD card Root, but i have looked everywhere to be able to save from res/raw or asset folder instead, and to a differnet location onthe sd card /sdcard/DCIM/ Here is the code, can anyone show me how to do the above from this?   • maven scm plugin deleting output folder in every execution

    Hi all, I need to download from 2 different svn locations to the same output directory. So i configured 2 different executions. But every time it executes a checkout deletes the output directory so it also deletes the already downloaded projects.
