    - by msi
    I have an ASPNET MVC 2 project. When I use <%= Html.TextBoxFor(model => model.Login) %> the TexBoxFor will render as <input id="Login" name="Login" type="text" value="" /> Field in the model is [Required(ErrorMessage = "")] [DisplayName("Login")] public string Login { get; set; } Can I made id and name attribute with some prefix? Like <input id="prefixLogin" name="prefixLogin" type="text" value="" /> Thanks to all.

  • call the id in javascript

    - by user295189
    I have a span like this <span id="selectedTests" class="emrFG"> <span id="lblSelectedTests" class="emrHDR" style="top:3;left:6;font-size:8pt;">Selections</span> <span class="emrHDR" style="top:3;left:190;font-size:8pt;">Tests</span> <div id="recordSet" style="top:19;height:112;width:444;"></div> </span> The span shows some rows of data and I want to call those rows individually by using document.all method. How would I do that?

  • TCP packets larger than 4 KB don't get a reply from Linux

    - by pts
I'm running Linux 3.2.51 in a virtual machine (192.168.33.15). I'm sending Ethernet frames to it. I'm writing custom software trying to emulate a TCP peer, the other peer is Linux running in the virtual machine guest. I've noticed that TCP packets larger than about 4 KB are ignored (i.e. dropped without an ACK) by the Linux guest. If I decrease the packet size by 50 bytes, I get an ACK. I'm not sending new payload data until the Linux guest fully ACKs the previous one. I've increased ifconfig eth0 mtu 51000, and ping -c 1 -s 50000 goes through (from guest to my emulator) and the Linux guest gets a reply of the same size. I've also increased sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_rmem='70000 87380 87380 and tried with sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_mtu_probing=1 (and also =0). There is no IPv3 packet fragmentation, all packets have the DF flag set. It works the other way round: the Linux guest can send TCP packets of 6900 bytes of payload and my emulator understands them. This is very strange to me, because only TCP packets seem to be affected (large ICMP packets go through). Any idea what can be imposing this limit? Any idea how to do debug it in the Linux kernel? See the tcpdump -n -vv output below. tcpdump was run on the Linux guest. The last line is interesting: 4060 bytes of TCP payload is sent to the guest, and it doesn't get any reply packet from the Linux guest for half a minute. 14:59:32.000057 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 0, • store multiple id's from first aspx page to next aspx page

    - by poller
i have my first aspx page that has data thatthe user fills in. it is in format of textbox's and at the end of it all the user clicks submit and all data goes in the database. In the database each record gets an ID field. Now when the users clicks submit and goes to the next page, i want the ID's (they could be 1 to 1000+) from the DB that he just inserted and have them available on the second page. how can i take all the id's from page 1 to page 2? can i do it in session? or something else. Please put some sample code so i can understand better.

  • StreamReader.ReadToEnd() returning an empty string

    - by axk
I have a method private static String DecompressAndDecode(byte[] data) { GZipStream decompressor = new GZipStream(new MemoryStream(data), CompressionMode.Decompress); StreamReader decompressed = new StreamReader(decompressor, Encoding.UTF8); String result = decompressed.ReadToEnd(); return result; } I have some GZipped text as input and the result is supposed to be a String representation of this text. The problem is that the method returns an empty string. What is puzzling me is that when I step trough the method in debug mode and reach the return statement the result variable is an empty string but if I create a watch for the decompressed.ReadToEnd() expression it returns me the text. What I would expect at this point is the result variable to contain the text and the decompressed.ReadToEnd() expression evaluating to an empty string. (Reevaluating the decompressed.ReadToEnd() expression returns an empty string as expected). There must be something obvious I'm missing here.

  • jQuery.load() Retrieving partial page content causes duplicate ID in DOM

    - by Warren Buckley
Hello all, I currently have a JS function that allows me to load partial content from another page into the current page using jQuery.load() However I noticed when using this that I get a duplicate ID in the DOM (when inspecting with FireBug) This function is used in conjuction with a Flash Building viewe so it does not contain any code to retrieve the URL from the anchor tag. function displayApartment(apartmentID) { $("#apartmentInfo").load(siteURL + apartmentID + ".aspx #apartmentInfo", function () { //re-do links loaded in $("a.gallery").colorbox({ opacity: "0.5" }); }); } The code above works just fine in retrieving the content, however it just bugs me that when inspecting with firebug I get something like this. <div id="apartmentInfo"> <div id="apartmentInfo"> <!-- Remote HTML here..... --> </div> </div> Can anyone please suggest anything on how to remove the duplicate div? Thanks, Warren

  • ASP.NET content incode id

    - by WtFudgE
Hi, I recently started using Masterpages, the thing is I would like to add text in code to an asp:Content tag. So my content page markup code is: <%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Template.Master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="ASP_Test_WebApp.Default" %> <asp:Content id="TEST" ContentPlaceHolderID="Main" Runat="Server" /> So now I would like to add Contents to the "TEST" id incode. But my in code doesn't recognize TEST. If I don't use a masterpage and I give an id to a tag my in code reconigzes it, but now that I started using masterpages it doesn't. What am I doing wrong? Thx

  • Getting the record ID just added with mysql prepared statements

    - by dmontain
I'm inserting a record using PDO (very similar to mysqli). $addRecord->execute(); To know if the operation worked, I've learned that I can save it to a variable $result that can be used as true false $result = $addRecord->execute(); if ($result){ //add successful } else { //add unsuccessful } What I'd like to do is also get the record id just added. In the table, each record has an auto_incremented field called id. I tried doing this $new_id = $result['id']; but it seems that $result is purely boolean and doesn't actually hold the actual record that was added. Can someone confirm this and how would I then access the record just added? Note that several people may be adding to the same table at the same time, so I think getting just the last one would not be very accurate.

Greetings, I wrote a custom MembershipProvider for my asp.net mvc application. I get the user as follows: public override MembershipUser GetUser(string username, bool userIsOnline) { using (CPersistanceManager pm = new CPersistanceManager()) { pm.EnsureConnectionOpen(); MembershipUser membershipUser = null; COperator oper = pm.OperatorRepository.Get(username); membershipUser = new MembershipUser(ApplicationName, oper.Username, oper.ROWGUID, oper.Email, string.Empty, string.Empty, oper.IsActive, false, DateTime.Today, DateTime.Today, DateTime.Today, DateTime.Today, DateTime.Today ); return membershipUser; } } how can I then retrieve logged user id (rowguid) in any controller?

  • mysql - select pagination chunk that includes a given id

    - by sean smith
...before the pagination chunks have been determined. I know you can do this in multiple statements, but there must be a better way. my results are returned ordered by date and I want to return the pagination chunk that contains a given id. So I could, for example, select the date of the given id and then select a chunk of results where date is less than or greater than the date. That would work. But is there some native mysql method of doing this sort of thing in one statement? It just seems reasonable to expect that we could ask for X results in which a given id exists if results are ordered by date.

  • Groovy: How to access objects with Id tag?

    - by skifan0
Hello, I have the following Groovy+SwingBuilder code. In one panel I generate checkboxes and in another panel I want to access the values of the checkboxes. The code looks basically likes this: def optionsmap = [ foo : "value_foo", bar : "value_bar"] SwingBuilder.build() { frame(title:'demo1', size:[400,700], visible:true, defaultCloseOperation:WC.EXIT_ON_CLOSE) { gridLayout(rows: 1, cols: 2) panel(id:'optionPanel', constraints:java.awt.BorderLayout.CENTER) { gridLayout(rows: 5, cols: 1) myGroup = buttonGroup(); for (entry in optionsmap) { checkBox(id: entry.key, text: entry.value ) } } panel(constraints:java.awt.BorderLayout.WEST) { button ('Show values', actionPerformed: { for (entry in optionsmap) { println (entry.key as Class).text } }) } } } optionsmap is a map with (id, text) pairs that can be extended. When I press "show values" I get an error message: org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.typehandling.GroovyCastException: Cannot cast object 'foo' with class 'java.lang.String' to class 'java.lang.Class' How could I access the checkboxes for my action in the second panel by using the checkbox ids from optionsmap? Thank you if you can help

  • Accessing the feed/entry/id field of an ATOM 1.0 feed with the ROME library

    - by PartlyCloudy
Hi, I feel a bit stupid asking this question, but I don't know how I can access the ID field of an entry when using ROME to parse an Atom feed. ROME provides it's own meta level of feeds/items, i.e. SyndFeed and SyndEntry. Being an abstraction over RSS and ATOM they only contain elements both formats support. Thus, there is no method to get an ID of an entry. There also exist low level packages for the distinct formats, and the Atom package contains com.sun.syndication.feed.atom.Entry, which provides getId(). However, I don't know how can I convert my SyndEntry into an Entry. I have not found a way to convert it. The (outdated) tutorials show a conversion, but that's only for output though. So how can I easily access the ID field? Thanks in advance.

  • Add a different ID to each li element by jQuery

Hi guys, I'm new here and I'd like to ask a question about jQuery. I have the unordered list like: <ul id="pages"> <li class="something"><a href="#"></a></li> <li class="something"><a href="#"></a></li> <li class="something"><a href="#"></a></li> </ul> And I'd like to add a different ID to every li displayed in this <ul> (eg. <li class="something" id="li1">...). Is there a way how to achieve this via jQuery? Thanks a lot, Jakub

  • How to access stdClass variables stdClass Object([max(id)])=>64)

    - by Theopile
I need the very last valid entry in a database table which would be the row with the greatest primary key. So using mysqli, my query is "SELECT MAX(id) FROM table LIMIT 1". This query returns the correct number(using print_r()) but I cannot figure out how to access it. Here is the main code. Note that the $this-link refers to class with a mysqli connection. $q="select max(id) from stones limit 1"; $qed=$this->link->query($q) or die(mysqli_error()); if($qed){ $row=$qed->fetch_object(); print_r($row); echo $lastid=$row;//here is the problem } The valid line print_r($row) echos out "stdClass Object ( [max(id)] = 68 )"

Hello all, I wrote a small bat file: @echo off rem runs the {arg[0].exe} - using its fully qualified name %~f1 IF %errorlevel% NEQ 0 (set boolResult=False) ELSE (set boolResult=True) rem case1 EVENTCREATE /T ERROR /ID 700 /L "MyTest Application" /D "exitcode: %errorlevel%; session id is %SessionName%" rem case3 EVENTCREATE /T ERROR /ID 700 /L APPLICATION /D "exitcode: %boolResult%; session id is %SessionName%" rem case4 EVENTCREATE /T ERROR /ID 700 /L APPLICATION /D "exitcode: %errorlevel%; session id is %SessionName%" And I have got some questions, if you could help me out... case1: I get the following error: ERROR: 'MyTest Application' log does not exist. • StremReader.ReadToEnd() returning an empty string

  • Rails 3.0/3.2: Called id for nil, which would mistakenly be 4 -- if you really wanted the id of nil, use object_id

    - by Nick5a1
I'm following the Kevin Skoglund tutorial Ruby on Rails 3 Essential Training, which was written for rails 3.0, though I am currently using 3.2. It uses the following method in the pages_controller with a before_filter to display only the pages which belong to the parent subject. The tutorial explicitly uses .find_by_id because if the result is nil it "will not return an error". However I get the "Called id for nil, which would mistakenly be 4 -- if you really wanted the id of nil, use object_id" error when trying to view a page where @subject has been set to nil. def find_subject if params[:subject_id] @subject = Subject.find_by_id(params[:subject_id]) end end The actual code that is causing the error is: def list @pages = Page.order("pages.position ASC").where(:subject_id => @subject.id) end Is this something that has changed since 3.0? If so, what would be the correct way to implement this functionality in 3.2?

  • Clustered index dilemma - ID or sort?

    - by richardtallent
I have a table with two very important fields: id INT identity(1,1) PRIMARY KEY identifiersortcode VARCHAR(900) My app always sorts and pages search results in the UI based on identifiersortcode, but all table joins (and they are legion) are on the id field. (Aside: yes, the sort code really is that long. There's a strong BL reason.) Also, due to O/RM use, most SELECT statements are going to pull almost every column. Currently, the clustered index is on id, but I'm wondering if the TOP / ORDER BY portion of most queries would make identifiersortcode a more attractive option as the clustered key, even considering all of the table joins going on. Inserts on the table and changes to the identifiersortcode are limited enough that changing my clustered index would be a problem for insert/update operations. Trying to make the sort code's non-clustered index a covering index (using INCLUDE) is not a good option. There are a number of large columns, and some of them have a lot of update activity.
