  I want to run some commands using the system() command, I do this way: execute_command_error("trash-put '/home/$filename'"); Where execute_command_error will report if there was an error with whatever system command it ran. I know I could just unlink the file using Perl commands, but I want to delete stuff using trash-put as it's a type of recycling program. My problem is that $filename will sometimes have apostrophes, quotes, and other weird characters in it that mess up the system command or Perl itself.

  Hi, guys, I've been developing an iphone web application for a while, and encountered a weird problem: when open the web app in safari(with safari chrome, not starting it from home screen), safari can generate proper "If-Not-Modified-Since" and "If-None-Matches", so the server simply gives 304 Not Modified to speed up the process. however, when starting the app from home screen, safari seems to forget these two headers, and server always replies with 200 OK... any ideas for this?

  Is it possible to disable the in-browser, full-page zoom in Firefox (activated by Ctrl +) for a webpage? How about for certain elements in a webpage? I just notice that sometimes elements look really weird when they are zoomed, and it might be nice to just disable the zooming completely for those elements. Note: I know there a few ways to find the zoom level, but this is really wanting to actively work around it (which might not be a good idea anyway).

  Why would someone use WHERE 1=1 AND <conditions> in a SQL clause (Either SQL obtained through concatenated strings, either view definition) I've seen somewhere that this would be used to protect against SQL Injection, but it seems very weird. If there is injection WHERE 1 = 1 AND injected OR 1=1 would have the same result as injected OR 1=1. Later edit: What about the usage in a view definition?

  Hello everybody, JQuery accordion animation (as well as simple hides / shows) looks weird with some browsers (IE, Opera). But Fire Fox and Chrome renders animation perfectly without artifacts. Html layout tends to shake with IE / Opera during animation as if surrounding paddings / margins are changed for small random value. How can I minimize this effect. Is it jquery bug or browsers issue?

Specifically it seems that when I use .removeClass() the class is indeed removed, but a single space is left in it's place. then when I .addClass("secondclass") I get class=" secondclass" (with the space in front).   We are going to publish API documentation on our web site. The documentation is generated by Doxygen from sources. The problem is that Doxygen generate weird file names (which is no so good for SEO). For example, for source file RO4_Languages.h Doxygen generate _r_o4___languages_8h.htm. Is it possible to change name of generated files? PS: I know that it possible to change output using 3rd party tools/scripts (awk/sed/perl/etc).
