  Hi everyone I am new to mongo, this is my db design: product := { name: str group: ref, comments: [ ref, ref, ref, ref ] } comments := { ... a bunch of comments stuff } tag := { _id: int, #Need this for online requests tag: str, products: [ {product: ref, score: float}, ... ], comments: [ {comment: ref, score: float}, ...], } So my usage pattern is: GIVEN a product, find comments that have certain tag and sort them accordingly. My current approach involves: Look for that tag object that has tag=myTag pull all the comments out, sorted look for that product where product.name=myProduct pull all the comments out (which are dbrefs by the way) loop through the result of 2, and checking if they are in 4, (this I can do a limit 10) etc. It's pretty inefficient. Any better methods?

  Hello, In my presentation, I use "\usetheme{Warsaw}" and in order to increase the usable space in each frame, I use "\useoutertheme{infolines}". In this way, the bar at the bottom of each page is equally divided between author's name, title, and date and slide number. Is there anyway to change the width of each section? For example, I need more space for the title compared to author's name or date. Any comment is highly appreciated.   I have a project in my solution which started life as a C# library project. It's got nothing of any interest in it in terms of code, it is merely used as a dependency in the other projects in my solution in order to ensure that it is built first. One of the side-effects of building this project is that a shared AssemblyInfo.cs is created which contains the version number in use by the other projects. I have a button in the parent document that says "Delete selected", and I'd like to be able to click this button and populate a hidden field in my parent page with the values of the selected checkboxes in the child iframe. My checkboxes look like this: <input id="Checkbox1" type="checkbox" value="47" title="Select this row" name="selectItem"/> I have an instance of jquery on my parent page so I can make use of jquery selectors, I just have no clue as to the syntax needed to do this. • "Cleanly" Deploying an ASP.NET Application with LINQ to SQL Server

  In my development environment, my SQL Server is PHILIP\SQLEXPRESS. In testing, it's ANNIE, and the live environment will have a third name yet to be determined. I would have assumed that updating the following statement in web.config would have been enough: <add name="MyConnectionString"providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" connectionString="Data Source=PHILIP\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=MyDtabase;Integrated Security=True" /> When using SqlConnection, SqlCommand, SqlDataReader and friends, that's all it took. Using LINQ, it doesn't seem to work that nicely. I see the servername repeated in my .dbml file as well as in Settings.settings. After changing it in all of those places, I get it to work. However if I'm doing a few deployments per day during testing, I want to avoid this regimen. My question is: is there a programmatic solution for LINQ to SQL that will allow me to specify the connection string once, preferably in web.config, and get everybody else to refer to it?

• AS3 Flex masks with black background from png bitmap

  Hi all What I am trying to achieve might be trivial, however I am loading a PNG mask which does not have a transparent background, but rather a black background, with the shape defined on top in white (the actual mask which needs to be applied). Apparently Flex expects me to provide a mask with a transparent background for it to work, or am I missing something? If that's the case, could I transform the bitmapData which I am loading so that it treats black color as transparent? thanks in advance.

  Hey all, Looking at the E4X implementation in ActionScript, it occurs to me that they had to figure out how to do three things that I am not sure can be done within ActionScript regularly: Properties/Getters prefixed with @: var myAttribute = xmlPerson.@name; Nameless functions for filtering: xmlData.person.(/* predicate */) lambda syntax for predicates: xmlData.person.(@name == "Brian") So here is my question: Are these just one-off capabilities (much like Vector.<>) they put in just for E4X, therefore keeping out of reach for us? Or do we, as ActionScript developers, have access to these features? More specifically, I'd love to get access to the expression tree of that lambda predicate for my own code (not tied to the XML classes in any way). I figured out that this is called the "filter operator"... but I am not sure how to harness it. Not sure I can... since ActionScript does not allow for operator overloading :(

(It Should Look Something Like "SELECT District FROM City WHERE Name='Simi Valley';") I already realize that in this simplistic case it would be very easy to simply reconstruct the query... but how can I access it in a general way that will work for very complicated prepared statements, and cases where I don't necessarily already understand the intended structure of the query, etc. Isn't there some function or method that can be called on the statement object that will return the actual text of the SQL query, after binding?

  I am trying to right a Google Cloud Platform app in python with Flask that makes an MQTT connection. I have included the paho python library by doing pip install paho-mqtt -t libs/. However, when I try to run the app, even if I don't try to connect to MQTT.   Hi All, I am running into a problem which is quite a bit surprising.I have an GWT application,which i can run perfectly fine on Firefox,but the same GWT application does not open up in Internet Explorer. When using Firefox i use <set-property name="user.agent" value="gecko1_8"/> and when i want to run in Internet Explorer i change it to <set-property name="user.agent" value="ie8"/> and debug.This way i am sure that the problem i am having is not related to deferred binding. When using the Internet Explorer (IE 8) i cannot even get into the onModuleLoad() part of my application.It looks as if Internet Explorer has downloaded all its stuff ,but has nothing to display. Is there something that i am missing here Thanks Bhargava
