    So I have some data that looks like this. `USERID1 USERID2` 1 10 2 20 2 30 3 40 3 50 1 10 2 20 2 30 3 50 I want a query that produces the following `USERID1 COUNT` 2 2 3 2 It's a group by query that shows me the count of unique USERID2 for each USERID1 that has more than 1 USERID2 associated with it. God I hope you aren't as confused as I am by that last statement.

    Hi, i want to get the domain extention (at least i hope it is called this way) from the site name the user is currently on. so from www.bbc.co.uk it's co.uk and www.google.com = .com http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask = .com etc. especially the ones with the double name (like co.uk) gives me headaches....

  • Network.downloadfile is very slow

    I have tried using the My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile method but unfortunately it is slow. Executing the simple command below takes ~5-10 secs, which I would say is a lot longer than expected for downloading a 9 kb file. `My.Computer.Network.DownloadFile("http://www.google.dk", "j:\temp\test.html")` I am connecting via a high-speed connection (10GB) from a Win7 machine. Do anyone know of any explanations for this behavior? Hope that you can help me out with this. Kristoffer

  • Lenovo System Update Breaks Windows Live

    Hey everyone, I've been racking my brain (and fingers from typing) trying to solve this issue to no avail. I have a Lenovo computer and I install their system update tool to install all my missing drivers. However after this tool is installed Windows Live 2011 breaks, it will no longer sign in giving error number 8e5e0247 all the solutions online haven't helped. It appears that a language setting somewhere gets set to en_ms, and I'm en_ca. My computer is running Windows 7 x64. When i try to sign onto messenger it gives an error that (with some research) means your locale or language is not supported, I've searched my computer for any reference to en_ms but find none. Also a few other things seem to have broken, When a UAC box comes up it is no longer able to identify the publisher of anything, and also the indexing service does not work (I'm not sure if the indexing issue is related, but the UAC issue happened right after installation), I had this issue before but I don't remember how I fixed it, I believe it had something to do with environmental variables. When it goes to sign in it gets as far as the "Loading contacts" then stops and goes back to the sign in screen. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks

  • Internet Troubles - PPPoE vs PPPoA?

    I have been having some internet troubles at home (ADSL2+ connection in Australia). We get random drop-outs from the authentication connection. It will keep the connection to the DSL service, but we lose authentication and either have to restart the router/modem (its combined, a Belkin one, not sure on model number) or unplug the phone cable, wait about 30 seconds and plug it in again. I've called the ISP (Telstra) a few times, but they only offer limited support when we dont use their supported hardware. Apparently something had happened on their side, they checked the box again (at least it sounded that simple), and told me it would be fine. It wasnt. I've replaced all the filters around the house, but that didnt help either. We do live a little bit away from the exchange (get a sync speed of about 3000/900), so I thought it could be due to line noise but that hasnt helped. Telstra allow both PPPoE and PPPoA connections (which I'm configuring through my router, dont have software on the PC side). I've been running PPPoA the whole time, would it make any difference changing it to PPPoE? If not, are there any other theories as to why we would be experiencing these drop-outs? It has been fine for at least 12 months, then suddenly started about 2 months ago.

    I am trying to design the standards and patterns for implementing portlets/web gadgets with the main goal of maximizing interoperability if those components were hosted in a Java app server framework or within an existing ASP.NET technology (SharePoint webparts), or a client side-only framework. Is there any guidance anywhere of the parts of different portlet standards that are shared between most portal frameworks? Is the best I can hope for is to adhere to the JSR 168 and 286 standards and hitch my wagon to Java?

    My XP machine has become terribly slow and I want to identify the application at fault. It seems to be related to disk access rather than processor hogging. I can look at the task manager to get a good idea but it's not ideal. I was wondering if there was some application that can monitor all aspects of processes effectively.   • How to setup port forwarding from my Webserver (apache) to my Database server (mysql)

    Hello again guys, and thank you for your help so far. Here is my problem: I have two remote dedicated servers, one webserver that runs apache, and one db server that runs mysql. The apache server is visible on the internet of course, but the second server is only visible to the apache server because they are connected with LAN. I need to connect to the remote mysql server through internet from my home-pc , but only apache server is visible to my home-pc. How can i setup port-forwarding from my apache server to the mysql server so i will be able to "see" the mysql server from my home-pc? This question is a follow-up from my first question Connect to remote mysql server from my application. Problem is that Mysql server is on LAN in which you answered me and helped me a lot by telling me to do "port-forwarding". I looked over the internet, and i cant find a good how-to to do port-forwarding. I'm an experienced programmer, but have little experience on hardware and networks. I can understand though what must be done, so i just need a litle help to sort things out :) I hope you can help me guys, Thank you in advance p.s. machine that Apache is running is on CentOS, mysql server also CentOS. p.s2 webserver runs WebHostManager i dont know if that makes any difference or it can be made easily through this, i just mention it :)

  • How to measure a canvas that has auto height and width

    Hi Folks, I'm a beginner in silverlight so i hope i can get an answer that brings me some more light in the measure process of silverlight. I found an interessting flap out control from silverlight slide control and now I try to use it in my project. So that the slide out is working proper, I have to place the user control on a canvas. The user control then uses for itself the height of its content. I just wanna change that behavior so that the height is set to the available space from the parent canvas. You see the uxBorder where the height is set. How can I measure the actual height and set it to the border? I tried it with Height={Binding ElementName=notificationCanvas, Path=ActualHeight} but this dependency property has no callback, so the actualHeight is never set. I have an link which animates some div-s height when its hovered... but div has big height and it goes beyond the visible bottom end of the screen so i have to scroll to see the data and when i scroll I leave the hover area and so the div toggles it's height to 0px... how to make automatic scroll to the end of the div when it toggles...   • Windows + Django + mod_wsgi = "DLL load failed"

    For a long time I was using Python 2.5 to do all this fine but recently upgraded to 2.7 since building stuff for 2.5 is a real pain. I also updated mod_wsgi to 3.3 for Python 2.7. Everything is working fine with Apache + mod_wsgi on CentOS and also in the Django runserver on both Windows and CentOS, but not with Apache + mod_wsgi on Windows. Whenever I try to access a page in my Django app I get the following (note that Apache starts fine): ImportError at / DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found. Which is caused by things like: from Crypto.Cipher import AES Etree and others cause the exact same error and it is not limited to any specific packages. Anything with pyd files fails. Googling around suggests reinstalling Python "for all users", but the installer doesn't give you that option anymore anyway. For good measure I've tried reinstalling Python 2.7 as an administrator and also told it to register itself as the default version of Python but neither helped. I think the solution might have something to do with: The fact that I have 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7 installed on this machine and mod_wsgi might be loading the DLLs for 2.5 instead of 2.7. Something to do with WSGIPythonPath, which I usually don't need to set.

  • Where do I start with a web bot?

    I simply want to create an automatic script that can run (preferably) on a web-server, and simply 'clicks' on an object of a web page. I am new to Python or whatever language this would be used for so I thought I would go here to ask where to start! This may seem like I want the script to scam advertisements or do something illegal, but it's simply to interact with another website.
