  Currently I have a couple of websites. My problem is that if I login on 1 specific domain with any of my programs (using notepadd++, FileZilla and Netbeans) the program stops at the content listing. I had it correctly running, (I'm working on a project on this domain for more than a year now) and suddenly I broke it somehow. This only happens on 1 specific domain, all other domains (from other hosts) are working. My colleague (next to me with same ip address) is able to login on this domain. Notepadd++ says: Failure retrieving contents of directory Filezilla says: Failed to retrieve directory listing Netbean popups: Upload files on save failed. (Because I have the setting upload on save enabled.) What I tried: First I thought it's my firewall, I disabled firewall but no result. Also notice that all other domain are working. Maby a blacklist with my ip address? No my colleague has the same ip address. Could anyone help me on this? • "dig +trace fqdn" and "dig fqdn" do not give the same result on a LAN with windows DNS server, why?

  in my company LAN I have a Ubuntu 14.04 server running in Virtualbox (as guest) on a Windows 7 (the host) with network interface bridged (so the Ubuntu server belongs to the LAN, with its ip: 192.168.1.85). I have a website on this server: mywebsite.com The gateway for the LAN to the internet is 192.168.1.1 (Cisco 1841)--188.188.188.254 as public IP. There is a Windows 2008 server that acts as DNS server and DHCP server on the LAN. I added a Forward zone "mywebsite.com" with A record - 192.168.1.85. Outside the LAN, mywebsite.com has public Dns records that point on the Cisco 1841 public IP (188.188.188.254) Now when I ping mywebsite.com from the lan, I quickly get 192.168.1.85. But when I'm connecting through the browser on the clients, it's not always fast. So I'm wondering: Are my requests really/directly resolved and forwarded to 192.168.1.85, OR are they sent out of the LAN, and then forwarded back to the CISCO public 188.188.188.254:80 and NAT to the Ubuntu server before being served ??? Thus they may have done very clever friendly URLs to maximize the page rank. I've seen from time to time very long URLs (can't find where) in stackoverflow, but after a certain "amount" of character there were only numbers, kind of "ok passed this length, SEOs will ignore this so let's put only numbers". Now, I have seen this feature named URL-parameters, allowing me to set different parameters that affect page content to be indexed (one can also set parameters that do not affect the page, but for me that does not apply..). The question I have about this is whether and how I should add parameters that I only have on some pages of my site. example: The homepage of my site is www.mysite.nl. no parameters at all. But when a user clicks the navigation bar, it links to www.mysite.nl/itemList.php?category=&....subCategory=.... The parameters category and subCategory define whether there is content on my itemList page and what content that is. It gets matching products out of my database based on those 2 variables. The question: How do I make sure that I apply the google URL Parameters function decently for my website?

  I am 16 years old and I love to program and playing the piano. It's not uncommon that I'm bashing away on my mouse and keyboard all day long. I do not feel any pains doing so. Yet I am still worried, because I often hear from people that they can never type for longer then 10 minutes again without getting severe pains. Given my two hobbies, programming and playing the piano that worries me a lot.   I've switched recently to an UK keyboard, from a FR keyboard. It is an usb keyboard, and first I plugged it in, I had to launch dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration in order to request the correct layout (ie: uk). But after every reboot of the machine, the laytout comes back to the FR layout. How can I make the modification persisting? I am using Ubuntu, running the Stump Window Manager. As such, I would like to refactor the code to return a struct instead and was wondering if this is a good idea. One of the examples from an interface: void CalculateFinancialReturnTotals(FinancialReturn fr, out decimal expenses, out decimal revenue, out decimal levyA, out decimal levyB, out decimal profit, out decimal turnover, out string message) and if I was to refactor that, i would be putting all the out parameters in the struct such that the method signature is much simpler as below.   We own multiple country code top-level domains for our website e.g DE, UK ,FR. When someone visits for one of those domains they redirect to .com and the language automatically changes for the first time to the one from the originating domain. Also users can change the language from the .com website using a dropdown, however the page URI stays exactly the same e.g service.php. How will that be indexed in Google ? Will all the different language will be indexed or only the default lang (English) ? Is it recommended for SEO purposes to do something with the page URL (even using the htaccess maybe) so that I can also append to the title or page name the language ? e.g service.php?lang=fr

  I am working on a dollars to euros/euros to dollars converter in C#. I got the formula, $ times 0.73361 = euro, and I have checked Google with the answers. They were right, (1 dollar equals 0.73 euros). However, it stops working properly when the dollar input value is higher than $1363. This is what I get with $1364: $1364 = 1 000,64 €. I don't know what to do, will someone please help me?   I'm trying to call a PHP SOAP webservice. I know my webservice functions correctly because I use it in a WPF project succesfully. I'm also building an app in android, using the same webservice. Error: 11-04 16:23:26.786: E/AndroidRuntime(26447): Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: org.ksoap2.serialization.SoapObject cannot be cast to org.kxml2.kdom.Node Which is caused by these lines: request.addSoapObject(UserCredentials); soapEnv.setOutputSoapObject(request); This may be a solution though, how do I go about this? I found nothing about using a SoapEnvelope instead of a SoapSerializationEnvelope except for this awesome tutorial: http://ksoap.objectweb.org/project/mailingLists/ksoap/msg00849.html

  I want to run a command using ssh.
