  • How to remove fastaddressbar?

    somehow I downloaded and installed spyware or malware. I do not know. I know that if I write somethin in field where you put as a website link I get web engine results but not by google but fastaddressbar.. It is part of websearch toolbar. Most of them was blocked and added to quarantine by my antivirus comodo however I still do not know how restore fast search in firefox to get results from google. Please help :(

  • How does Antimalware Doctor infect computers?

    I didn't do anything stupid like run random .exe or visit questionable websites, but as I was just Googling I get infected by Antimalware Doctor. At that point I just shutdown my computer and reformatted, so I didn't check if I had the latest version of Flash or Firefox. Is it possible to get infected just because I didn't have my Flash newer than 10.1 and some random flash ad infected me? There doesn't seem to be any information on how Antimalware Doctor works asides from how to remove it.

  • KeyPass - KeyPassHttp refuses to be recognised as a plugin

    I'm trying to make KeyPass run on my Windows 7 machine, I've downloaded and installed KeePass, aim to use it alongside Passifox However, downloading and copying the KeePassHttp executable to the C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass Password Safe folder, however it refuses to show up in the KeyPass plugins window. Please help, I've tried download KeePassHttp using multiple links from github and passifox itself using Firefox and even wget. Also I've tried pinging http://localhost:19455 but nothing was found. Any ideas I'm at a loss.

    Hi all! I don't get that: as soon as I open a Webpage, whether it's with Firefox or Chrome (I hate so much IE that I didn't test with it), there are tons of TCP connexions between "localajaxchat" and a supposed google ("1e100") domain. I've already read this topic, but my problem seems strange because there are so many TCP connexions for only one page... I don't get it. If someone could explain this problem to me... Thanks a lot!

    How do I block this particular "auto refresh" script on Drudge Report from running in my Firefox browser? I have NoScript and AdblockPlus plugins installed, but neither of them explain how to filter out a particular script and keep it from running and leave the rest alone. I don't want to stop all javascripts from running just the one listed below. Any help would be appreciated.     I use Rackspace CloudFiles CDN. Apparently the way that Akamai works (company that backs CloudFiles program) is that the mime-type is an image and will force the user to download it - I can still use the image within HTML tags like the <img src="//cdn.com/image.jpg"/> but copying it in the URL or clicking the image will always prompt the download I want to view that image within the browser - this happens with IE, Google Chrome and Firefox.

    I'm attempting to submit my iPhone app to iTunesConnect. The pictures loaded fine, and I picked "submit binary later" because iTunesConnect kept having the connection reset. I'm using Firefox to upload the binary. Is there any way I can see the % or data transferred of a specific file uploading, in real time? It would be great to see that the bits haven't moved in a while and manually reload the page instead of waiting for the connection to reset. Cheers
