  • Replace always replacing null values

    Why does left(FIELD, replace(nullif(charindex('-', FIELD), 0), null, len(FIELD))) always return null? The idea behind the query is that if charindex() returns 0, then convert the results into null, then convert the null into the length of the field. So if '-' does not exist, show the whole string. For some reason it makes every row equal null. Thank you.

    I'm writing out wave files in Java using AudioInputStream output = new AudioInputStream(new ByteArrayInputStream(rawPCMSamples), new AudioFormat(22000,16,1,true,false), rawPCMSamples.length) AudioSystem.write(output, AudioFileFormat.Type.WAVE, new FileOutputStream('somefile.wav')) And I get what appears to be corrupt wave files on OSX. They won't play from Finder however using the same code behind a servlet writing directly to the response stream and setting the Content-Type to audio/wave seems to play fine in quicktime. What gives?

    Right now I have four customized QDockWidgets on the left side of my application. When you start the application, each one is visible, but very small because of the visibility of each one. I would like for three of the QDockWidgets to nest behind one primary one to give that one priority and the entire left side of the screen.   • A regex to match a substring that isn't followed by a certain other substring.

    I need a regex that will match blahfooblah but not blahfoobarblah I want it to match only foo and everything around foo, as long as it isn't followed by bar. I tried using this: foo.*(?<!bar) which is fairly close, but it matches blahfoobarblah. The negative look behind needs to match baranything and not just bar. The specific language I'm using is Clojure which uses Java regexes under the hood.

As in if a certain amount of requests are made per a certain amount of time then block the IP address or something. I thought there maybe a htaccess solution if not, I will write a PHP one.     I realize there's the W3C validator, which works great for one page. There's also the perl install they provide, but it seems to not work on a Mac or it's buggy. Given that 1) I have an entire set of local files How do I a) Validate the entire set b) do it behind a firewall c) do it simply without installing anything on my computer? (i.e., is there a web service?) Or is this just futile?

  • Prism: How to render one view on top of another

    We have a Prism/WPF application and are using an expander to animate a menu. When the expander expands, the content is rendered behind the main region's content. The menu is in a different region than the content it is supposed to overlay (since the menu governs what items go into that region) which is why this is occurring. We have tried setting the Z-Index of the ContentControls to no avail.
