  • How to enable telnet with port 3306 during Master to master replication on MySQL Server

    - by Mainio
I am trying to do Master to Master Replication in Windows Server 2008. I am successfully able to replicate all the database of Master 1 to Master 2. But I am unable to replicate the changes made on Master 2 to Master 1. Later on I found that, I can telnet to Master 1 from Master 2 with port 3306 but I am not able on telnet from Master 1 to Master 2. When I check netstat on both Master. I found the following result. I couldn't publish my public IP so I put name as Master 1 and Master 2 for their respective IP Master 1 C:\Users\XXXXX>netstat Active Connections Proto Local Address Foreign Address State TCP Master 1:3306 Master 2:61566 ESTABLISHED TCP Master 1:3389 My remote:56053 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 Master 1:60675 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 Master 1:60712 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:60675 Master 1:3306 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:60712 Master 1:3306 ESTABLISHED Master 2 C:\Users\XXXX>netstat Active Connections Proto Local Address Foreign Address State TCP Master 2:3389 My remote:56124 ESTABLISHED TCP Master 2:61566 Master 1:3306 ESTABLISHED TCP Master 2:61574 bil-sc-cm02:http ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 Master 2:61562 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:3306 Master 2:61563 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:61562 Master 2:3306 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:61563 Master 2:3306 ESTABLISHED TCP 127.0.0.1:61573 Master 2:3306 TIME_WAIT All shows that In my master 2, port 3306 is not activate. Now I need solution over here. How can I figure it. Your small suggestion would be million for me. Thank you Regards, Udhyan

  • Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port significantly slower under Windows 7 comparing to Windows XP

    - by Dmitry S
Not sure if this question should be asked here or on SuperUser but if we get an answer here it may be useful for others here I am using a Prolific USB-to-Serial adapter based on the Prolific chip to use with a device on serial port. I have the latest version of the driver installed: 1.3.0 (2010-7-15). When I use my device with this adapter on my main Windows 7 (32bit) system it takes 8-9 seconds to send a command through to the device. However, when I do the same thing on a different Windows XP system (an old laptop I borrowed for testing) it only takes 2-3 seconds. I have made sure that the port settings and other variables are the same between systems. I also tested on a third laptop (also running Windows 7) and again got a significant delay. So the question is if anyone else experienced the same problem and found a solution. I would like to avoid moving to an XP system for what I need to achieve so that's my last option. Thanks in advance.

  • Configuring port forwarding for SSH - no response outside LAN [migrated]

    - by WinnieNicklaus
I recently moved, and at the same time purchased a new router (Linksys E1200). Prior to the move, I had my old router set up to forward a port for SSH to servers on my LAN, and I was using DynDNS to manage the external IP address. Everything worked great. I moved and set up the new router (unfortunately, the old one is busted so I can't try things out with it), updated the DynDNS address, and attempted to restore my port forwarding settings. No joy. SSH connections time out, and pings go unanswered. But here's the weird part (i.e., key to the whole thing?): I can ping and SSH just fine from within this LAN. I'm not talking about the local 192.168.1.* addresses. I can actually SSH from a computer on my LAN to the DynDNS external address. It's only when the client is outside the LAN that connections are dropped. This surely suggests a particular point of failure, but I don't know enough to figure out what it is. I can't figure out why it would make a difference where the connections originate, unless there's a filter for "trusted" IP addresses, which is perhaps just restricted to my own. No settings have been touched on the servers, and I can't find any settings suggesting this on the router admin interface. I disabled the router's SPI firewall and "Filter anonymous traffic" setting to no avail. Has anyone heard of this behavior, and what can I do to get past it?

  • Windows XP - Power surge on hub port

    - by Swift-Tuttle
Since last few weeks I constantly get this error, as status bar balloon: Power Surge on Hub Port - A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. Due to this now I am unable to access any USB devices properly, they get disconnected intermittently. I did quite a few things to resolve this problem, firstly obviously through the Windows help. I even tried all the things told on the Microsoft website(which essentially says is to check and update the driver) but in vain. One suggestion, I found when I google'd was to disable the USB2 controller through the Device Manager and since at every startup the System configuration comes up complaining that it has been changed etc.(On that same site it is mentioned to ignore this message.) But after everything I still cant solve this problem. Any help is much appreciated. The system is installed with Windows XP service Pack 3 and all the updates till last month. Please let me know if any other hardware info is required. **UPDATE** My laptop is about 5 years old now, its an HP with Celeron 1.4G processor. Windows XP SP3 installed. All latest windows updates installed. 2 USB ports available. BIOS is HP 68DTD ver F.0A Do I need to update my BIOS from somewhere ? or is this a hardware problem altogether?

  • Connect to Postgres remotely, open port 5432 for Postgres in iptables

    - by Victor
I am trying to connect to Postgres remotely but I need to open port 5432 in iptables. My current iptables configuration is as follows: *filter # Allows all loopback (lo0) traffic and drop all traffic to 127/8 that doesn't use lo0 -A INPUT -i lo -j ACCEPT -A INPUT ! -i lo -d 127.0.0.0/8 -j REJECT # Accepts all established inbound connections -A INPUT -m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT # Allows all outbound traffic # You can modify this to only allow certain traffic -A OUTPUT -j ACCEPT # Allows HTTP and HTTPS connections from anywhere (the normal ports for websites) -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 443 -j ACCEPT # Allows SSH connections # # THE -dport NUMBER IS THE SAME ONE YOU SET UP IN THE SSHD_CONFIG FILE # -A INPUT -p tcp -m state --state NEW --dport 30000 -j ACCEPT # Allow ping -A INPUT -p icmp -m icmp --icmp-type 8 -j ACCEPT # log iptables denied calls -A INPUT -m limit --limit 5/min -j LOG --log-prefix "iptables denied: " --log-level 7 # Reject all other inbound - default deny unless explicitly allowed policy -A INPUT -j REJECT -A FORWARD -j REJECT COMMIT What would I have to add in iptables to open the port? I'm trying to install phppgadmin on a different server to access the postgres database. Thank you.

  • httpd Redirect / Rewrite .com to .org

    - by David W
I am trying to redirect a www.example.com to www.example.org. I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have ensured that mod_rewrite is enabled in httpd.conf with: LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so I further verify this by running: httpd -M and getting rewrite_module (shared) included in the results. Later in the same httpd.conf file is the VirtualHost directive where I am trying to perform the rewrite: <VirtualHost *:80> Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.org/$1 [R=301,NC,L] ServerAdmin admin@my-domain.com DocumentRoot /var/www/html ServerName example.org ServerAlias www.example.org *.example.org <Directory "/var/www/html"> Options Includes FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog /var/www/logs/error_log CustomLog /var/www/logs/access_log common </VirtualHost> As we can see, we are following SymLinks in the directory (which I believe is a requirement), AND we allow All Overrides (which meets another requirement). But obviously I'm still doing something wrong. Can you spot it?

  • How to install port versions of perl modules for perl5.14 in freebsd 9.0

    - by jm666
Trying to use perl5.14 on Freebsd with port based p5-modules. uname -impr 9.0-RELEASE amd64 amd64 ALTQ delete all installed ports, start with a clean system # pkg_delete -a # rm -rf /var/db/pkg /var/db/ports /usr/local installing portmaster, checking /etc/make.conf (here is only WITHOUT_X11=YES). Now installing perl. # portmaster -g --force-config lang/perl5.14 # perl -v This is perl 5, version 14, subversion 2 (v5.14.2) built for amd64-freebsd-multi Now perl modules from the ports, # portmaster -g devel/p5-Moose #install Moose and its deps check with pkg_info and got zilion errors like: # pkg_info pkg_info: corrupted record (pkgdep line without argument), ignoring dpendecy check with portmaster - showing dependecies on perl5.12 #portmaster --check-depends Checking p5-Class-C3-0.24 ===>>> lang/perl5.12 is listed as a dependency ===>>> but there is no installed version ===>>> Delete this dependency data? y/n [n] when tried # perl-after-upgrade -f got: Fixed 0 packages (0 files moved, 0 files modified) In short: i got installed Moose into /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2/ but all its dependencies into /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.12.4/ Yes, it is possible fix this with: # portmaster p5- what reinstall all installed p5-packages once again, now correctly for the 5.14 but it is terrible installing them twice... Questions: What is the correct way install p5-MODULES from ports with installed perl5.14 in an clean system? How to fix wrong dependency data on perl5.12 without the need install and reinstall them again What i'm doing wrong? Ps: know perlbrew and/or Local::lib - but for this case - want port versions.

  • Using 1and1.com Servers, SMTP Mail is Limited - Local XAMPP Server Works As Expected

    - by nicorellius
I'm starting to not like 1and1.com that much. I've used them for years, but mainly for simple sites without much need for configuration. I know there are better hosting companies out and I may go seeking them. The problem here is that on my Local XAMPP server (sitting on a network with Comcast ISP), I have a PHP script that uses PEAR::Mail to send mail using MIME. The script works find locally with either smtp.1and1.com and corresponding credentials and smtp.gmail.com with corresponding credentials, using appropriate ports, etc. 1and1 tells me that I have to change the MX record on the domain where this script runs in order to make this work. This doesn't make sense to me. Now I'm pretty new to all this, but how is it that this is the case? Why can my local server work just fine, out of the box, but their servers not? I have asked them these questions, but they are very vague and I cannot get any good answers from them. Versions: PEAR Version: 1.5.0 PHP Version: 4.4.9 Zend Engine Version: 1.3.0 My apologies in advance for my ignorance. Thanks for the help in advance.

  • EMC VNX iSCSI setup - unsure about SP/port assignment

    - by pauska
We have a new VNX5300 waiting to get configured, and I need to plan out the network infrastructure before the EMC tech arrives. It has 4x1gbit iSCSI per SP (8 ports in total), and I'd like to get the most out of the performance until we jump over to 10gig iSCSI. From what I can read from the docs - the recommendation is to use only two ports per SP, with 1 active and 1 passive. Why is this? It seems kind of pointless to have quad-port i/o-modules and then recommend to not use more than two of them? Also - I'm a bit unsure about the zoning. The best practices guide state that you should separate each port on each SP from each other on different logical networks. Does this mean that I have to create 4 logical networks to be able to use all 8 ports? It also gives the following example: Does this mean that A0 and B0 should sit on the same physical switch aswell? Won't this make all traffic go on one switch (if both A1 and B1 are passive)? Edit: Another brainpuzzle I don't get it - each host (as in server) should not have more iSCSI bandwidth available than the storage processor. What on earth does this matter? If serverA have 1gbit and serverB have 100mbit, then the resulting bandwith between them is 100mbit. How can this result in some kind of oversubscription? Edit4: Wait, what. Active and passive ports? The VNX runs in a ALUA configuration with asymmetrical active/active.. there shouldn't be any passive ports, only preferred ones..

  • Amazon AWS VPN how to open a port?

    - by Victor Piousbox
I have a VPN with public and private subnets; I am considering only public subnet for now. The node 10.0.0.23, I can ssh into it. Let's say I want to connect to MySQL on the node using its private address: ubuntu@ip-10-0-0-23:/$ mysql -u root -h 10.0.0.23 ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on '10.0.0.23' (111) ubuntu@ip-10-0-0-23:/$ mysql -u root -h localhost Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g. --- 8< --- snip --- 8< --- mysql> The port 3306 is not reachable if I use the private IP? My security group allows port 3306 inbound from 0.0.0.0/0 AND from 10.0.0.0/24. Outbound, allowed all. The generic setup done by Amazon through their wizard does not work... I add ACL that allows everything for everybody, still does not work. What am I missing?

  • No sound out of headphone port on laptop

    - by Thanatos
I cannot get sound out of the headphone port on a laptop. Headphones are plugged in, and sound comes out of the internal speakers. Windows behaves normally (sound switches to headphones when headphones are inserted). It did work in Linux at one point, but something changed, we're just not sure what. Rebooting doesn't fix. This appears to occur whether or not PulseAudio is running. Things I've tried: Rebooting. No effect. Booting into Windows. It works properly, so probably not a hardware issue. All of alsamixer. My only controls are this: "Master" Volume bar & mutable, unmuted. Controls volume. "PCM" Volume bar only. 100%. "S/PDIF" Mutable only, currently muted, has no effect. "S/PDIF" Default PCM", Mutable only, currently unmuted, has no effect. Killing PulseAudio. No effect. (It also won't stay dead! Something appears to be restarting it, and I can't tell what, but it is annoying as fuck.) alsactl init 0, no effect. sudo rm -f /var/lib/alsa/asound.state, no effect. General system info: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Toshiba Satellite T135D-S1324 lspci says I have: 00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) 01:05.1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc RS780 Azalia controller Some edits: Yes, the headphones are in all the way. This works in Windows: You plug headphones in, the internal speakers stop making noise, and noise comes out the head phones. Windows says I only have two sound cards: the HDMI port (which I don't care about) and the "sound card", which it claims is a "Conexant Pebble High Definition SmartAudio" In Windows, both the internal speakers and the headphone jack show up as one soundcard, which in my experience, is typical. (This is a laptop)

  • Linux port-based routing using iptables/ip route

    - by user42055
I have the following setup: 192.168.0.4 192.168.0.6 192.168.0.1 +-----------+ +---------+ +----------+ |WORKSTATION|------| LINUX |------| GATEWAY | +-----------+ +---------+ +----------+ 192.168.150.10 | 192.168.150.9 +---------+ | VPN | +---------+ 192.168.150.1 WORKSTATION has a default route of 192.168.0.6 LINUX has a default route of 192.168.0.1 I am trying to use the gateway as the default route, but route port 80 traffic via the VPN. Based on what I read at http://www.linuxhorizon.ro/iproute2.html I have tried this: echo "1 VPN" >> /etc/iproute2/rt_tables sysctl net.ipv4.conf.eth0.rp_filter = 0 sysctl net.ipv4.conf.tun0.rp_filter = 0 sysctl net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 0 iptables -A PREROUTING -t mangle -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j MARK --set-mark 0x1 ip route add default via 192.168.150.9 dev tun0 table VPN ip rule add from all fwmark 0x1 table VPN When I run "tcpdump -i eth0 port 80" on LINUX, and open a webpage on WORKSTATION, I don't see the traffic go through LINUX at all. When I run a ping from WORKSTATION, I get this back from some packets: 92 bytes from 192.168.0.6: Redirect Host(New addr: 192.168.0.1) Vr HL TOS Len ID Flg off TTL Pro cks Src Dst 4 5 00 0054 de91 0 0000 3f 01 4ed3 192.168.0.4 139.134.2.18 Is this why my routing is not working ? Do I need to put GATEWAY and LINUX on different subnets to prevent WORKSTATION being redirected to GATEWAY ? Do I need to use NAT at all, or can I do this with routing alone (which is what I want) ?

  • DNS resolve .com domain on local domain

    - by Joost Verdaasdonk
I'm building a local 2008 R2 domain as a test case to be able to write a roadmap for the real new domain that needs to be created soon. What I would like to know if I'm able to make a record in DNS that will point the domain name: www.example.com and example.com to one of the servers in my network. I tried creating an a-record for it but that doesn't work. To be honest I'm not even sure if this is possible? So can I do this? That way I would be able to fully test all our services (and webb app) offline before I build the real domain and switch the DNS records at the provider. Some advice if possible and where to start is appreciated. The solution (Thanks Brent): Create new Forward lookup zone pointing to example.com Create empty A record pointing to IP of the webserver you are targeting If www is needed create A record with Name: www and IP of your webserver sub domains repeat the process but then with names for example: sub or www.sub (and ip your webserver) Be aware of the DNS Cache while you are in this process. Things can take time or do the following: Right click the server and choose clear cache in CMD: ipconfig /flushdns (to flush the client cache)

  • Transfering Files to server IP and port

    - by Mason
I need to transfer files from my local computer on windows 7 to a server running linux. I access the server with putty through ssh at a specific IPv4 address and port number. I've attempted using the pscp command from my local computer but was denied access by the server. "Fatal: Network error: Connection refused" c:>pscp test.csv userid@**IPv4_Addres***:Port# /path/destination_file_name. Either the server blocks all pscp attempts from unauthorized users (most likely my laptop included) or I used the command incorrectly. If you have experience using this command, where exactly will the file get transfered to, I'm assuming that the path destination starts at my home directory in the server. Also if you have any other alternative methods of transfering the files let me know. Update 1 I have also tried using WinSCP however I got permission denied for that as well, it looks like the server will not let me upload or save files. Solved I had a complete lapse of memory and forgot about sudo (spent too much time with scripts the last 2 months), so I was able to change the permissions to allow external editing. Thanks for all the help guys!

  • How to change the mail domain server so it's not displaying IP? Changing [email protected].com to [email protected]

    - by Pavel
Hi guys. I'm kinda a noob as a server admin so please bear with me. I've installed postfix mail server and everything is working fine but the 'from' box is displaying name@IPaddress.com. • Dovecot starting and running, but not listening on any port

    - by Dženis Macanovic
    Among others things I'm in charge of a Debian GNU/Linux (Wheezy) DomU for the mail services of the company i work for. Yesterday one HDD that was used for this particular server has died. After installing Debian again, Dovecot decided to no longer listen on any ports (checked with netstat -l). Other services (like Postfix and MySQL) work without problems. dovecot -n: # 2.1.7: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 x86_64 Debian wheezy/sid ext3 auth_mechanisms = plain login disable_plaintext_auth = no first_valid_uid = 150 last_valid_uid = 150 mail_gid = mail mail_location = maildir:/var/vmail/%d/%n mail_uid = vmail namespace inbox { inbox = yes location = prefix = } pass db { args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql.conf.ext driver = sql } plugin { sieve = ~/.dovecot.sieve sieve_dir = ~/sieve } service auth { unix_listener /var/spool/postfix/private/auth { group = postfix mode = 0660 user = postfix } unix_listener auth-userdb { group = mail mode = 0666 user = vmail } } service imap-login { inet_listener imaps { port = 993 ssl = yes } } service pop3-login { inet_listener pop3s { port = 995 ssl = yes } } ssl_cert = </etc/ssl/private/mail.crt ssl_key = </etc/ssl/private/mail.key userdb { args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql.conf.ext driver = sql } protocol imap { mail_max_userip_connections = 25 } UID 150 is vmail (I double checked file permissions). I didn't install Dovecot from source, but via apt from the official Debian US mirror. There are no messages concerning Dovecot in /var/log/syslog except for: Oct 21 06:36:29 server dovecot: master: Dovecot v2.1.7 starting up (core dumps disabled) Any ideas?

  • Windows XP - Power surge on hub port

    - by Swift-Tuttle
Hi, Since last few weeks I constantly get this error, as status bar balloon: Power Surge on Hub Port - A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port.

  • Using a second Wifi Router (in order to use a LAN port)

    - by Sledge81
Problem: Connecting a TV decoder via Internet. It doesn't have inbuilt wifi so wired LAN is the only option. I bought a second Wifi Router so I could use its LAN port to create a wired internet connection to my decoder. What I want to achieve: The second Wifi Router should basically pick up the signal from the main wifi router. I would then use the LAN port to connect (with a wire) to the TV decoder. In other words have my secondary Wifi Router act as an access point, which will enable me to use a wired LAN connection to the decoder. What i've done so far: Connected the second Wifi Router to my laptop via the LAN ports. Access 192.168.1.1 and went into my second router. 1) SSID set to the same one as the main Wifi Router 2) Tried disabling DHCP and enabling DHCP (with the DNS and default gateway configured the same as the main router). When I check my network connections, I see the LAN connection too but it says 'Not connected to the internet' while the Wifi (main router) shows connected. Can someone please advise on how to use my second Wifi Router to connect to the main Wifi Router (and thus the Internet). Thanks. main wifi router: Zyxel secondary wifi router: TP Link

  • Ubuntu 10.04 recognizing USB 2.0 external HD as USB 1.1

    When I connect the USB 2.0 drive I see this: usb 1-4.3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5 so I know it's getting seen as USB 1.1. usb-devices shows that it really is USB 2.0 and connected to a USB 2.0 hub: T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=03 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=12 MxCh= 4 D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=05e3 ProdID=0608 Rev=77.61 S: Product=USB2.0 Hub C: #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=e0 MxPwr=100mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hub T: Bus=01 Lev=02 Prnt=02 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 4 Spd=12 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=13fd ProdID=1340 Rev=02.10 S: Manufacturer=Generic S: Product=External C: #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr=2mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=08(stor.) • What is difference between RegSvr and RegServer?

    - by Rahul
Why there is difference in registering COM component for 32-bit and 64-bit? I mean at one point you have to use like this, RegSvr32 COM.exe or RegSvr32 COM.dll On 64-bit OS you have to use like, COM.exe /RegServer COM.exe /RegSvr Does /RegServer and /RegSvr are same or different. If different then what is the difference. Thanks in advance, Rahul

  • Windows CE Programming Serial Port - Getting Garbled Output

    - by user576639
I am programming a Windows CE 6 device (Motorola MC3100 scanner Terminal). Using Lazarus FPC to compile it. After 3 weeks work I reluctantly post here in the hope someone can suggest why I am getting garbled output from the serial port. The code I am using is posted below. This is the standard code I have found from several places. The OpenPort works OK. When I send the string using SendString('ABCDEF') I get garbled input to the PC Serial port such as: 4[#131][#26][#0][#0][#0][#0] (the bracketed data indicates that it is a non-printable character ASCII Code) Obviously it is connecting to the port OK AND it is sending the correct no of characters (7). I have tried all combinations of Baud Rate, Data Bits, Parity and Stop Bits without any joy. Also tried changing cable, on a different PC etc. Could it be I need to set something else in the DCB? Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. unit Unit1; {$mode objfpc}{$H+} interface uses Classes, SysUtils, FileUtil, Forms, Controls, Graphics, Dialogs, StdCtrls, ExtCtrls, Windows, LResources; type { TForm1 } TForm1 = class(TForm) Button1: TButton; Button2: TButton; Label1: TLabel; procedure Button1Click(Sender: TObject); procedure Button2Click(Sender: TObject); function OpenPort(ComPort:String;BaudRate,ByteSize,Parity,StopBits:integer):String; procedure SendString(str:String); private { private declarations } public { public declarations } end; var Form1: TForm1; cc:TCOMMCONFIG; Connected:Boolean; implementation {$R *.lfm} var F: TextFile; var hComm: THandle; str: String; lrc: LongWord; { TForm1 } function OpenPort(ComPort:String;BaudRate,ByteSize,Parity,StopBits:integer):String; var cc:TCOMMCONFIG; SWide:WideString; Port:LPCWSTR; begin SWide:=ComPort; Port:=PWideChar(SWide); result:=''; if (1=1) then begin Connected:=False; hComm:=CreateFile(Port, GENERIC_READ or GENERIC_WRITE,0, nil,OPEN_EXISTING,0,0); if (hComm = INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE) then begin ShowMessage('Fail to Open'); exit; end; GetCommState(hComm,cc.dcb); cc.dcb.BaudRate:=BaudRate; cc.dcb.ByteSize:=ByteSize; cc.dcb.Parity:=Parity; cc.dcb.StopBits:=StopBits; if not SetCommState(hComm, cc.dcb) then begin result:='SetCommState Error!'; CloseHandle(hComm); exit; end; Connected:=True; end; end; procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject); begin OpenPort('COM1:',9600,8,0,0); end; procedure TForm1.Button2Click(Sender: TObject); begin SendString('ABCDEFG'); end; procedure TForm1.SendString(str:String); var lrc:LongWord; begin if (hComm=0) then exit; try if not PurgeComm(hComm, PURGE_TXABORT or PURGE_TXCLEAR) then raise Exception.Create('Unable to purge com: '); except Exit; end; WriteFile(hComm, str,Length(str), lrc, nil); end; end.
