  My server has developed an expected problem where I am unable to connect from a mail client. I've looked at the server logs and the only thing that looks to identify a problem are events like the following: Nov 23 18:32:43 hig3 dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=, method=PLAIN, rip=xxxxxxxx, lip=xxxxxxx, TLS Nov 23 18:32:55 hig3 postfix/smtpd[11653]: connect from xxxxxxx.co.uk[xxxxxxx] Nov 23 18:32:55 hig3 postfix/smtpd[11653]: warning: SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: No such file or directory Nov 23 18:32:55 hig3 postfix/smtpd[11653]: warning: xxxxxxx.co.uk[xxxxxxxx]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: generic failure Nov 23 18:32:56 hig3 postfix/smtpd[11653]: lost connection after AUTH from xxxxxxx.co.uk[xxxxxxx] Nov 23 18:32:56 hig3 postfix/smtpd[11653]: disconnect from xxxxxxx.co.uk[xxxxxxx] The problem is unusual, because just half an hour previously at my office, I was not being prompted for a correct username and password in my mail client. I haven't made any changes to the server, so I can't understand what would have happened to make this error occur. Searches for the error messages yield various results, with 'fixes' that I'm uncertain of (obviously don't want to make it worse or fix something that isn't broken). When I run testsaslauthd -u xxxxx -p xxxxxx I also get the following result: connect() : No such file or directory But when I run testsaslauthd -u xxxxx -p xxxxxx -f /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd/mux -s smtp I get: 0: OK "Success." I found those commands on another forum and am not entirely sure what they mean, but I'm hoping they might give an indication of where the problem might lie. If it makes any difference, I'm running Ubuntu 10.04.1, Postfix 2.7.0 and Webmin/ Virtualmin.

• Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Drivers Missing Would Not Install?

  I am building my dev machine with WS2008R2SP1. I consider Windows Server as the best development environment for C# since I tend to focus on server-centric (integration) applications. The desktop flavor of Windows (7) doesn't play nicely with things like Commerce Server or BizTalk... so I to like stick to the environment I develop for. Previously I used to develop inside of VM's but I've found that it is super inefficient and tends to take a toll on the laptops. (I've gone through two of them in 6 months). Problem is that I multiple devices that do not want to be recognized by Windows: My machine is Dell Precision M4500: Intel Core i7-Q740, 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, Dell re-branded Broadcom DW1501 802x11n Half-Mini Card, Dell re-branded Broadcom DW375 Bluetooh Module, Intel 82577LM Gigabit Network connection NVidia Quadro FX1800 Graphics The devices in question are the Dell rebranded broadcom network and bluetooth adapters: Broadcom USH: USB\VID_0A5C&PID_5800&REV_0101&MI_00 USB\VID_0A5C&PID_5800&MI_00 DW375 Bluetooth Module USB\VID_413C&PID_8187&REV_0517 USB\VID_413C&PID_8187 When I ran the broadcom installers I get "Operating System not supported" which I think is a big oversight on Broadcom's part. Why check for system version string? UGHGHGH Moreover if I try to manually force the driver in windows... I get an error: Driver Management concluded the process to install driver FileRepository\btwampsecfl.inf_amd64_neutral_d8fc2b85d035ed47\btwampsecfl.inf for Device Instance ID USB\VID_0A5C&PID_5800&MI_00\7&66DE6C9&0&0000 with the following status: 0xe0000217. '- or - Driver Management concluded the process to install driver FileRepository\btwampfl.inf_amd64_neutral_d4c4acf036c61299\btwampfl.inf for Device Instance ID USB\VID_413C&PID_8187\90004EEEF5A6 with the following status: 0xe0000217. I googled the 0xe0000217 error code and it says Bad service install section in the driver inf file... Any ideas on how to fix this? I also tried the post by BetaIQ on MSDN Forum, unfortunately the links to the driver package included in the post were dead :( PS. On a side note I also do mobile development for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone, and BB. Having the bluetooth is quite useful with mobile devices.

• Trouble serving vhosts when trying to set up wildcard subdomains with dnsmasq in local development e

  I'm trying to get wildcard DNS enabled on my laptop using dnsmasq. I realize that this has been asked and answered more than once on this forum, but I can't get the solution to work for me. Steps taken so far: Installed dnsmasq Set address=/example.dev/127.0.0.1 in dnsmasq.conf Set listen-address=127.0.0.1 in dnsmasq.conf Ensured nameserver 127.0.0.1 is in /etc/resolv.conf Set prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1; in /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf Created a vhost for example.dev Restarted apache and dnsmasq Note: example.dev is not set in /etc/hosts My vhost for example.dev <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName example.dev DocumentRoot /home/jkendall/public_html/example/public ServerAlias *.example.dev # This should be omitted in the production environment SetEnv APPLICATION_ENV development <Directory /home/jkendall/public_html/example/public> DirectoryIndex index.php AllowOverride All Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> </VirtualHost> The setup above will server example.dev locally without any problem. It will also serve test.example.dev, but test.example.dev returns the default apache "It works!" index.html from /var/www rather than my index.php in /home/jkendall/public_html/example/public. The solution in this Server Fault thread suggests that address=/.example.dev/127.0.0.1 would resolve my problem, but when I try to use that solution, restarting dnsmasq results in a failure with the error message dnsmasq: error at line 62 of /etc/dnsmasq.conf For grins, I moved my project over to /var/www/example and modified the vhost appropriately. I got the same result as described above. At this point I'm not sure what other steps I can take to resolve the issue. Thoughts?

• Replacing latex with unicode symbols

  Often, during a conversation or an email, or at a forum, I would like to type some math, but I don't need full equation support. Unicode symbols should suffice. What I need is an easy way to type math related unicode symbols. Since I already know latex, it makes sense to use the latex symbol mnemonics to type the math symbols. What I currently did is to write an AutoHotKey script which automatically replaces \latexSymbol with the corresponding unicode symbol, using the "hotstrings" AutoHotKey feautres. However, the AutoHotKey hotstrings proved unstable for many strings. Having a couple of tens lines would cause AHK to fail recognizing the strings from time to time. Any other solution? (No, Alt+unicode number isn't convenient enough) Attached is my AHK script. • What are the advantages and disadvantages of the various virtual machine image formats?

  Xen and Virtualbox etc both support a range of different virtual machine image formats. These are: vmdk, vdi, qcow & qcow2, hdd & vhd. Without any bias toward a particular product, I'm wanting to know what are the advantages and disadvantages of the various formats both from a features perspective, robustness and speed? One piece of info I discovered in a forum post was this: "The major difference is that VDI uses relatively large blocks (1MB) when growing an image, and thus has less overhead for block pointers etc. but isn't ultimately space efficient in the sense that if a single byte is non-zero in such a 1MB block the entire space is used. VMDK in contrast uses 64K blocks, and thus has more management overhead and generally a bit less disk space consumption What offsets this is that VDI is more efficient when it comes to snapshots." You might be thinking, I want to know this because I want to know which format to choose? Not exactly, I'm developing some software which utilises these formats and want to support one or more of them. Simplicity, large disks and ease of development are my main drivers.

• How can ICS in Windows 7 be managed via command line, scripts, config files, etc.?

  I've been using ICS successfully for years, but now I'm looking for a way to control it through something else than the GUI in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections - Connection Properties: I want to do everything that the encircled checkbox does, without touching the GUI. But what does the checkbox do? Microsoft don't provide specific information and the most helpful forum post I've found is from 2003. Assuming that some of the advice is still valid, I've come to the conclusion that ICS is broken down into 6 parts that have to be set up individually: the sharedAccess service interface settings firewall rules a static route dnsproxy autodhcp I've already learned that the service can be started/stopped with the command net start/stop sharedAccess and that netsh is a good tool for changing the interface settings and the firewall rules. But I don't understand how ICS handles routing and DNS. All hosts in my network are configured statically, so I don't care much about autodhcp. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I've spent the whole day scanning through ProcMon and I've seen reads/writes to both the registry and the filesystem and it is difficult to determine what parts of it actually make ICS work. I'm trying to look for an API instead. I'm looking into this right now, but I still want to know more about the inner workings.

• emacs error: "Symbol's value as variable is void: hostname"

  After I installed emacs this error occurs every time on startup. It prevents me from installing plugins, e.g. auctex via aptitude. I already tried to install a plugin by hand (rails for ruby), but doesn't work. The error doesn't contain the message "hostname", but the hostname of my PC is displayed ("bloodredangel-ubuntu"). I changed my hostname to "bloodredangel", but the error message stays the same. While I changed my hostname I saw that in /etc/hostname were two entries: 127.0.0.1 bloodredangel-ubuntu I already asked this question in an ubuntu forum but they couldn't help. They recognised an misconfigured /etc/hosts file, which I corrected, but from time to time these incorrect configurations get attached by something. I didn't add them by hand, maybe it has something to do with the issue. The misconfigurations looked like this: 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 bloodredangel-ubuntu localhost.localdomain localhost 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1:8080 bloodredangel-ubuntu localhost.localdomain localhost I didn't found a solution on the internet, so I hope I will find help here finally.

• Export Outlook Express XP into Outlook 2007 Windows 7

  I've searched the forum and it seems my need is a little different than the posts which have already been made. I have an old XP laptop which I was using Outlook Express for one of my mail accounts (a work account). I also ran regular Outlook for another (personal). I want to have both of these accounts on my new PC. My new PC is running Windows 7 wiht Office 2007. I used the Windows transfer cable and things worked failry well. My regular Outlook files all came over well, but nothing for Outlook Express. I really would like to take this time to somehow export my OE files into my Outlook 2007. I would really like to keep the account which imported in on Outlook seperate. Question 1: Is there a way to import my OE files into Outlook 2007? Question 2: Is there a way to have two seperate email accounts in Outlook without combining them? Basically I want to have a work email and a personal and keep them seperate. If I can't have two seperate emails with Outlook, can anyone suggest something which would allow me to export my old Outlook (the old personal emails) into another program so that I can at least use my work email on Outlook 2007? Hopefully this isn't too confusing.

• Are web service handler chains possible under IIS / ASP.NET

  I'm working with a client who wants me to implement a particular design in an IIS/ASP.NET environment. This design was already implemented in Java, but I am not sure it is possible using Microsoft technologies. In a Tomcat/Java environment one can create so call Handler Chains. In essence a handler runs on the server on which the web service is running and it intercepts the SOAP message coming to the web service. The handler can perform a number of tasks before passing control to the web service. Some of these tasks may refer to authentication and authorization. Moreover, one can create handler chains, such that the handlers can run in a particular sequence before passing control to the web service. This is a very elegant solution, as certain aspects of authentication and authorization can be automatically performed, without the developer of the client application and of the web service having to invest anything in it. The code for the client application and the web service is not affected. You may find a number of articles on internet on this subject by searching on Google for "web service handler chain". I performed searches for web service handlers in IIS or ASP.NET. I get some hits, but apparently handlers in IIS have another meaning than that described above. My question therefor is: Can handler chains (as available in Java and Tomcat) be created in IIS? If so, how (any article, book, forum...)? Either a negative or a positive answer will be greatly appreciated. Mike

• Make router forward HTTP and HTTPS traffic to external App

  I use a Linksys WRT54GL router with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std (SVN revision 13064) which I am trying to make forward all HTTP and HTTPS traffic to an external app called Fiddler (used as proxy) on port 8888. • fax server farm architechture

  I'm not sure this is the right forum for this, but it's not Stackoverflow so... I'm trying to figure out an architecture to solve the following problem, maybe someone here can help: I have a T1 with 23 fax lines coming into the building. I have a computer (Macintosh XServe) running Hylafax. If I had one POTS line, I'd be done. However, I have no idea how to get the T1 into the Mac... Options I've considered: some sort of PCI T1-modem (Does that exist?) Splitting the T1 into 23 POTS lines and then connecting 23 analog modems to the mac, either via an external modem bank (Do they still make those?) or via some sort of external PCI bank, which will allow me to use more than 2 4-port modem cards. Either the T1 or the split POTS lines going into some intermediate device and then transfering the images over IP, or USB to the mac. Really, any other option I can come up with This has GOT to be a problem that someone has already solved, right?

  After struggling for four hours, I still cannot get Unity 3D of Gnome 3 to work on my VirtualBox - I have been pouring through Internet and forum posts but to no avail. Here's what I've done so far: VirtualBox 4.1.4r74921 on Windows 7 Installed Ubuntu Desktop 11.10 ( 32 bit ) Enabled 3D acceleration Allocated 1.5GB of RAM Allocated 50MB video memory (hope this is not the culprit) Installed Guest edition 4.1.4 Did apt-get update and apt-get upgrade Booted back in to Ubuntu - falls back to Unity 2D Shared folder, mouse integration all works, so guest edition is properly installed Tried the command and below is the output /usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test –p OpenGL vendor string: Mesa Project OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.11 Not software rendered: no Not blacklisted: yes GLX fbconfig: yes GLX texture from pixmap: no GL npot or rect textures: yes GL vertex program: yes GL fragment program: yes GL vertex buffer object: yes GL framebuffer object: yes GL version is 1.4+: yes Unity 3D supported: no I am trying to find what the "no" means but cannot find any good answers. • Handheld Linux device can't see one wireless network

  I'm using a Nokia N810 running OS 2008 (version 5.2008.43-7; should be the latest). It can see networks up and down the street in my neighborhood and can connect to mine using WEP. I can also connect to free networks at restaurants and the like. When I bring it into work, it can't see a wireless network ("No connections available"). When I use netstumbler on my laptop I can see a list of several essids showing green connectivity for the network. I know that the network has its essid broadcast, and I know that it's unsecured. When I run iwlist wlan0 scan, I see several APs with no essid, but I don't see anything with an essid set. I have verified using iwlist that my hardware supports the correct channels and speeds. I know this isn't a Nokia/mobile forum, but it's running what's basically a Debian kernel. Any suggestions on what to do in this case? I'm really frustrated by this. Thanks, Nathan

  I had a simple plone site running on my Ubuntu 8.10 box, setup by following instructions on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/forum/server/Plone Now the computer got an Ubuntu 9.04 install from scratch, and I want to get the site up and running. As far as I understand several python libraries from 9,04 are not compatible with plone. I actually don't care about plone, I just found it easy to use. My site is just photo and video archive of several users, with low traffic but several gigabytes of data. What would you suggest? Is it easier to get plone working on my box and start my instance(how?), or recover the content from the instance folder(how?) and setup another content management system(which?)

• Python coding with VLC player (quite a basic query I expect)

  I'm fairly new to the whole coding realm so my knowledge is fairly limited, and I can't seem to find any basic tutorials on how to use scripts with VLC player. More specifically, the reason I'm asking here is because I stumbled across a post on this site about playing random clips from random videos on VLC player automatically. This is the forum post: Playback random section from multiple videos changing every 5 minutes My situation is similar to this lovely gentleman's was, though he clearly knows a lot more about coding than I do. In short, I'd like to copy this coding into a file of some sort and apply it to VLC player myself. Only I'm not sure what file type I'd have to save it as (I have Python by the way, and I tried saving it as a .py file but I didn't know if it was correct or where to go from there). Additionally, I'm not sure how to get VLC to "read" the script, so to speak - is there a specific location the file needs to be, and do I run the script from another program or through VLC? I'll reiterate that I'm relatively new to this, so if anybody would be so kind as to post a quick list of steps on how to save/place the file and use it with VLC player I really would appreciate it! P.S. I'm not computer illiterate, I'm fine with most programs and I'd understand if you just said things like "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins" or "in VLC, select Tools Plugins and extensions", I just wouldn't catch on to anything about adding a line of coding that does something without being told exactly what to write! • Error when connecting to shared Windows Printers

  I'm replacing our Windows 2003 print server with one running on Windows 2008 R2. I have connected and configured all of our printers and can successfully print to them from the server itself. All of the printers are shared and user's have permission to print on all of them. Whenever one of our clients attempts to connect through the shares they receive the following error message: Operation could not be completed (error 0x0000709). Double check the printer name and make sure that the printer is connected to the network. No messages are generated on the client Event Log nor is anything generated on the server. I have reinstalled the drivers as suggested by a few forum posts I came across and it didn't solve the issue. There are twelve different printer drivers and they are all experiencing this issue so I believe it is unrelated to the driver. I have disabled UAC on both the client and server since that has caused so many headaches before, but it too did not solve this problem. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?

• VPN with client-to-client direct connectivity?

  When setting up a VPN, clients (say client1 and client2) usually authenticate to a server, and together the three constitute the VPN. When client1 wishes to send a packet to client2, this packet usually gets routed by way of server. Are there products / configuration blueprints for products where it is possible to send packets directly from client1 to client2 without going though server? (if the underlying network topology permits it, e.g. no firewalls in the way) If not, is there a way by which client1 can send a packet to client2 by way of server, without the server being able to snoop on the content of the packet? (E.g. because the packet is encrypted with the public key of client2) I just asked in the OpenVPN forum, and the answer I got was "not with OpenVPN". So my question is: are there other products with which this is possible? Open-source preferred ... One use case: client1 and client2, typically in separate offices, find themselves both at headquarters. Do they still need to talk to each other via the public internet? Links appreciated. • Instant connection to wireless network but delayed internet access on Mediacom with Windows 7

  I have Mediacom cable internet and their provided modem/wireless router a Cisco DPC3825. Each of the laptops experiencing the trouble have Windows 7 64-bit. When connecting to the wireless network each computer will take a second or two to connect and then toggle from "no internet access" to "internet access" however, no websites are accessible for about five minutes after connecting. After that, there aren't any problems. It happens on all 3 of the laptops I have available and none of them have problems on any other network. It seems like my phone doesn't have the delay issue when it connects. I've power cycled the modem/router along with a DNS flush. I have some of the DNS servers manually set to Google DNS addresses and one just default. I've contacted and had Mediacom support try all its tricks. They changed the SSID and password along with resetting the thing remotely a handful of times. It was installed just this month and seemed to pass the tech's checks upon installation. Nothing in the settings has been changed, but it's been exhibiting this problem from the get go. • Problems using Mesa demos

  Hello, I successfully installed Mesa with "yum install Mesa*" and downloaded MesaDemos-7.8.tar.gz archive. Now I try follow instructions from "Mesa3d.org - Download / Insall - Compiling and Installing - 1.5 Running the demos", but in progs/demos there is only *.c files, when I try to compile them, I get many similar errors like: gears.c:(.text+0x54): undefined reference to `glShadeModel' I guess that this is very noob question, and I understand that there is very simple solution, but I haven't any idea... In beggining of the file there are all necessary #includes: #include <math.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <string.h> #include <GL/glut.h> So I have some questions: Is there some Mesa forum on the web? Is there some compiled demos? Is there some site with well described examples of Mesa using? What I need for compile those examples? I have CentOS 5 Thank you for ahead.

  Hi, For some time I have been unable to get VPN working through my set up. I have a BT2700HGV Router (2 Wire Model) and as a firewall I have the Dlink DFL-210. You can't turn the firewall completely off on the BT2700HGV so I have it set to DMZplus mode for the Firewall. In theory this should then allow the VPN ports through. On the Firewall I have a series of rules set up and one is the pptp-allow rule which should allow access on the correct ports also. When I try to connect via VPN however the client machine gets an error 809. If I check the log on the Dlink firewall, I see this record: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1041315/packetdrop.PNG The laptop I am testing the vpn with is connected directly to the BT2700HGV router and I am trying to VPN from it onto 81.138.86.217. I can't work out whether I have some sort of problem in the set up of the rules on my firewall or if the BT router (even though it's in DMZplus mode) is still blocking port 1723. I read somewhere that there where problems because BTs Openzone held onto this port for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need further screen shots or information then please let me know. I wasn't able to create new tags for the router and firewall name or insert the picture in as I am new to the forum. Dom :-)

• 32 core (each physical core) 2.2 GhZ or 12 core (6 physical cores) 3.0GHZ?

  I am working on a multithreaded application (Forex trading app built on C#) and had the client upgrade from the 12 core 3.0GHZ machine (Intel) to a 32 core 2.2 Ghz machine (AMD). The PassMark benchmark results were significantly higher when using multicores doing Integer, Floating and other calculations while for a single core calculation it was a bit slower than the pack (others that were being compared to with similar config as the 12 core one). Oh it also comes with 64 GB RAM (4 times as the other one) and a much faster SSD. So after configuring and running the application on that machine, not only did it not perform as well, it was significantly slower. We're talking about 30seconds - 1 minute slower on an app that usually completes processing within 5-20 secs. The application uses MAX DEGREE of PARALLELISM (TPL) which I've tried setting to number of cores and also half of that. I've also tried running single threaded and without setting any limits in parallel threading. While it may be the hardware has some issues, I am wondering if the CPU processing speed is the issue. I can overclock to 3.0 GHZ. But is that even a good idea? • emacs error: "Symbol's value as variable is void: hostname"

  After I installed emacs this error occurs every time on startup. It prevents me from installing plugins, e.g. auctex via aptitude. I already tried to install a plugin by hand (rails for ruby), but doesn't work. The error doesn't contain the message "hostname", but the hostname of my PC is displayed ("bloodredangel-ubuntu"). I changed my hostname to "bloodredangel", but the error message stays the same. While I changed my hostname I saw that in /etc/hostname were two entries: 127.0.0.1 bloodredangel-ubuntu I already asked this question in an ubuntu forum but they couldn't help. They recognised an misconfigured /etc/hosts file, which I corrected, but from time to time these incorrect configurations get attached by something. I didn't add them by hand, maybe it has something to do with the issue. The misconfigurations looked like this: 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 bloodredangel-ubuntu localhost.localdomain localhost 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1:8080 bloodredangel-ubuntu localhost.localdomain localhost I didn't found a solution on the internet, so I hope I will find help here finally.

• Mac compatible Web-Development Tools

  Hi, I'm looking for any Mac compatibile development tools that are tried and tested. I'm quite sick of my MySQL query browser crashing... And i'm sure there is probably better software out there anyways... At the moment my focus is dedicated to application development using PHP/MySQL/Ajax. (although, I will be learning ActionScript/Flex shortly). Here are the apps I regularly use and a general idea of the environment I work in: Hosting - localhost: Mamp Production: Amazon EC2 IDE - Coda: PHP/Mysql/Javascript Mysql - PHPMyAdmin MySQL query browser FTP - Coda FileZilla X11 is used for connecting to my production environment I am mainly looking for... -tools that will help me better manage (create, edit... whatever) databases. -Version control. This is huge as I'm working with a team of three other developers (we reeeeeeaaally need to standardize our environments..) Although any cool little tools to make my job easier are always a plus! I am unable to insert more than one link as I'm not rated on this forum.

• GlassFish v3: Security related updates + Repository/Publisher?

  I've used GlassFish v3.0 as my main development application server for a few weeks now. Now that I want to install it on my VPS, I'd like to get the latest security updates, because Glassfish v3 Release 3.0 (Open Source Edition or not) is already a few months old, and v3.1 is only available as "early access" nightlies (see https://glassfish.dev.java.net/public/downloadsindex.html). GlassFish offers an update mechanism (via pkg or updateTool), but when I simply try to get the latest updates (pkg image-update), it finds nothing. However, when I change the preferred publisher to dev.glassfish.org, I get a list with lots of updates. The interesting thing is, that I haven't been able to find any description about the contents of the diverse publishers/repositories (release, stable, contrib and dev) anywhere on the web, most importantly answering the question: Am I supposed to use the dev repository for security updates, or does it contain unstable updates? (The name suggests unstable updates, but the version numbers, like "3.0.1,0-11:20100331T082227Z" leave me guessing. The build is more than a week old, so it's obviously not "nightly" or "weekly", but what is it?) Where do I get security updates from then? Or are there simply no security updates yet? Asking on the GlassFish forum resulted in 56 views, but 0 answers.

• Suspected Router problems, [closed]

  I am new to this forum. I appreciate any help you can offer. I have been troubleshooting an error with both my WIRED Internet Connection I have 3 desktops running through this working connection (Router) with no problems. Two computers, one laptop and desktop experience the issue. If I connect directly to the Modem, on either, no problem on the internet. Through the Router, my computer connects for a period of time but if ever awaking my comp, or restarting, the yellow explanation mark returns. The only way I can get the connection up = cmd. ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew. This constant command is annoying and was hoping for a permanent fix. Audio is also not working. I know its likely a driver error, but its an old comp we put together and if there's an easy fix itd be great to hear from you! If you need any more info just let me know. Thanks! THanks guys!
