  • Troubles with a PHP session variable after form submission

    Hello, I'm setting a PHP session variable with a success message for a HTML form that I'm submitting. If there are no form errors, I redirect to the same page (using header()) and display the message from the session variable. Everything is fine until here, but if I access that page again after submission, the message is still there. Is it possible to make it appear only when I redirect after a successful submit? Thank you.

    Im trying to download and save a file from a HttpWebResponse but im having problems saving the file (other than Text Files) properly. I think its something to do with this part: byte[] byteArray = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(http.Response.Content); MemoryStream stream = new MemoryStream(byteArray); Text Files work fine with the above code but when I try to save the Content to an Image file it gets corrupted. How do i write this 'string' data to an image file (and other binary files)

    I am experimenting with HTML and JavaScript. The following code should print something when entering a keystroke in a textbox: <html> <body> <input type="text" id="commandInput" name="command" size="50" /> <script type="text/javascript"> var commandInput = document.getElementById("commandInput"); commandInput.onkeydown = function (evt) { document.writeln("Test"); }; </script> </body> </html> For some reason the textbox disappears when entering a keystroke, leaving nothing but a white page. Any ideas why this is happening?

  • Cannot assign multi-line values to CustomAttributes with Set-Mailbox

    A colleague is implementing an application that generates signatures and publishes them to Outlook. It would be useful to him if I could store a multi-line string for each user in Active-Directory. Using one of the Custom-Attributes seems obvious, but if I try set-mailbox biglig -CustomAtribute1 "First Line``r``n Second Line" then CustomAttribute1 gets set to "FirstLineSecondLine" and looses the breaks. However, the same syntax works fine when I set e.g. StreetAddress or Notes. Of course, those are changed with set-user rather than set-mailbox. According to Technet's reference for set-user and set-mailbox, The CustomAttributes, StreetAddress, and Notes all take a system.string as their value. Is it just the case that some attributes accept multi-line strings and some don't? If so, can anyone suggest a workaround?

    I have a model called user which has_one email. I put the foreign key (NOT NULL) inside users table. Now I'm trying to save it in the following way: @email = Email.new(params[:email]) @email.user = User.new(params[:user]) @email.save This raises a db exception, because the foreign key constraint is not met (NULL is inserted into email_id). How can I elegantly solve this or is my data modeling wrong?

  • Xcode save image to camera roll

    I am new to Xcode (using 4.3) and am not sure how to save an image to the device's camera roll. All that I have done so far is an IBAction for the button to save the image (the button resides in the top right of the navigation bar. This tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSdwjQUXA2Y) is EXACTLY what I would like to be able to do but the code is too blurry to read properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Why isn't this working - using :not() with an event handler

    I seem to have another issue that I am not conquering. Real simple premise. I have a mousedown event, and basically IF one particular element on the page is clicked, I want nothing to happen, else I want hide() some div. $(function(){ $("document :not(#_ignorelement)").mousedown(function(event){ if($('#_hidethiselement').length){ $('#_hidethiselement').hide(); } }) }) That is not working at all. I also tried the following: $(document).not($("#_ignorelement")).mousedown(function(event){ $(document).not("_ignorelement").mousedown(function(event){ IF I can solve that, curious how I would actually have ":not" encompass the parent div, like so: $().not("_ignoreelement").parent().closest('div').mousedown(function Because the element "_ignorelement" is an anchor tag that is in a div. Wonder how I can use the parent div perhaps, instead of the anchor tag. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

    We’ve just released Version 2.0.1 of Oracle E-Business Suite SDK for Java.  This new version has several great enhancements added after I wrote about the first version of the SDK in 2010.  In addition to the AppsDataSource and Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS) features that are in the first version, the Oracle E-Business Suite SDK for Java now provides: Session management APIs, so you can share session information with Oracle E-Business Suite Setup script for UNIX/Linux for AppsDataSource and JAAS on Oracle WebLogic Server APIs for Message Dictionary, User Profiles, and NLS Javadoc for the APIs (included with the patch) Enhanced documentation included with Note 974949.1 These features can be used with either Release 11i or Release 12.  References AppsDataSource, Java Authentication and Authorization Service, and Utilities for Oracle E-Business Suite (Note 974949.1) FAQ for Integration of Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) Applications (Doc ID 1296491.1) What's new in those references? The external application may also launch pages from the Oracle E-Business Suite home page, but after the initial launch there is no further communication with the Oracle E-Business Suite user interface. Shared session integration means that the external application uses an Oracle E-Business Suite session (ICX session), shares session context information with Oracle E-Business Suite, and accesses Oracle E-Business Suite data. The external application may also launch pages from the Oracle E-Business Suite home page, or regions or pages from the external application may be embedded as regions within Oracle Application Framework pages. Both shared session applications and independent applications use the AppsDataSource feature of the Oracle E-Business Suite SDK for Java. Independent applications may also use the Java Authentication and Authorization (JAAS) and logging features of the SDK. Applications that are sharing the Oracle E-Business Suite session use the session management feature (instead of the JAAS feature), and they may also use the logging, profiles, and Message Dictionary features of the SDK.  The session management APIs allow you to create, retrieve, validate and cancel an Oracle E-Business Suite session (ICX session) from your external application.  Session information and context can travel back and forth between Oracle E-Business Suite and your application, allowing you to share session context information across applications. Note: Generally you would use the Java Authentication and Authorization (JAAS) feature of the SDK or the session management feature, but not both together.   • Firefox Won't Save My Google Cookies Between Restarts

    I'm using firefox 11 on Ubuntu. For some strange reason, Firefox won't save my google cookies between browser restarts. I have to log in to gmail every time I restart my browser, even if I click on the check box that tells Google to remember me. The strange thing is that Firefox does actually store some gmail cookies when I log in. It's just that those cookies disappear after restarting Firefox. The especially strange thing is that this only seems to happen with *.google.com url's. I haven't noticed this problem with any other site that I use. Please note that I tried to see if this was a plugin-related problem. I therefore started Firefox in safe mode and turned off all plugins. I then logged into Gmail and told it to remember me. I then shut down Firefox and started it the same way in safe mode. I got the same bad results. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this before? Is there a reason that Firefox seems to be blacklisting Google cookies?

    I am trying to set up mod_proxy_balancer for routing requests to 2 jboss7-servers. For the time being I am testing this setup on my local machine, using following config in httpd.conf: ProxyRequests Off <Proxy \*> Order deny,allow Deny from all </Proxy> ProxyPass / balancer://mycluster/ stickysession=JSESSIONID|jsessionid scolonpathdelim=On <Proxy balancer://mycluster> BalancerMember http://localhost:8080 route=node1 BalancerMember http://localhost:8081 route=node2 Order allow,deny Allow from all </Proxy> and in the standalone.xml file of each jboss I have defined the jvmRoute system property: <system-properties> <property name="jvmRoute" value="node1"/> </system-properties> At http:// localhost/myapp the application is accessible but the java-session is not build up correctly. Consequently the authentication is not working. The funny thing is, that everything is working if I turn off one JBoss-instance. As I have tried a couple of settings already, I am thankful for any further suggestions.
